"Four ruffians break into house." Okay, if im robbing someone, and he calls me "ruffian," ,im just walking back at the front door, im dead serious! There is nothing in that house worth stealing!
ill be real i never understood that, if a guy calls me "ruffian" hes probably a history buff, or an actual 1800's man and that means he has old stuff, thats valuable
Ah yes, our Walcom with the Blunderbuss, just as the founding fathers intended. Now we just need the flintlock, just as the founding fathers would desire
I live in South Africa and on my last vacation in Clarens and on the last day of my vacation I went on the "Titanic" trail (Titanic is a huge sandstone formation) and guess what I found on the trail? Yes ,I found a musket ball probably from the Bore Wars but I can see that it has been fired because there are barrel marks (the barrels weren't circular back than) and there are mold marks , and I guess it was fired at the Titanic because there is a mark on it that looks like it hit the white sandstone. Hope this entertains you❤
Oh what I wouldn't do for a CarnyRex tournament. I've printed one of his rubber band powered flintlock pistols myself, and it's such a joy to goof around with.
I'm watching a lot of footage firing the Baker rifles used by the British Army during the height of the Napoleonic Wars. I gotta say, the Carny Rex looks hella accurate. Put on a green jacket, baby.
So just the other day we had a battle where everything couldn't be magazine fed, but single shot loaded directly into the breach. Inline clip pistols counted. All the rifles were breach loaded (Cynthia, skewer, B Variant, etc) omg it was the most fun game we've ever had. Guys were lining up and volley firing before ducking behind a bush to reload. 4-5 shot IC pistols made things interesting at close range. I would totally play more games like that at a larger scale.
I would absolutely have a blast in a war where everyone has one of these. It would be hilarious, ridiculous, and so much fun. Thanks for sharing Walcom!
It would be fun, undeed. (I often used to try to get folks to do "musket" games back when I still played Airsoft. It was great the once or twice they did.)
I actually have one of these and if you get a rival round stuck (dont remember about elite or half length darts) you can suck it out of the barrel so you dont need to take it apart
I actually have two of these, both with the low-powered spring. I use them at steampunk events, because there’s something steampunkish about people shooting a nerf gun that uses a ramrod to load.
Just look for one of those little snakey plunger claw things. If you can find one long enough, you could unload the ammo back out the way it came and not have disassembly.
The only thing that compares as a sibling to this is the Nerf (Black Series) Mandalorian 4ft Amban Phase-Pulse rifle, same singleshot capability and just as iconic 🗿🍷
I've been considering one of Carny Rex's blasters for a samurai costume. I forget what he calls it, but I'd love to see how one of those weird bois actually functions before investing so much.
😂from the start of the video I was waiting for the round to load without the prime. It’s the most frustrating thing so I’m glad it’s not just me. I got Front line foam to build complete one and I got the kit and printed one from Rex. Both turned out great. FLF now has a video for the build so that’s great for everyone getting a new musket blaster. Well worth the money.
have you tried a vacuum or something else like that to suck darts out instead of disassembling the blaster? edit: or put something sticky on the end of the ram rod, like tape, or glue dots
Very early on in the existence of the hobby, a lot of people would bring single shot air tank blasters that would hit 250 fps and most of the field would be these miserably low rate of fire monsters that left welts and were still horribly inaccurate since we didn't have consistent short darts or scars yet.
I remember the old Laramie days. You were lucky if you had a Supermaxx 1500 with its 4 (manually rotated, muzzle-loaded) barrels. Otherwise, it was a single-barrel, air pump blaster as your best alternative.
Put some talcum powder down it after priming, then put a rival round in and tou not only have a nerf muskes with a spherical round, but also a cool smoke affect
Just as the founding fathers intended.
Fr first
Indeed chain
Indeed
Just as the founding fathers intended.
I like how he used the ramrod wrong.
something very powerful about wearing a VR headset and eating processed food while saying "just as the founding fathers intended"
The video couldn't have ended any other way tbh
Haha

Just as the founding fathers intended.
There is no other way the intro would've played out, just as the founding fathers intended.
Gave me Pulsator vibes

is that a russianbadger reference i see?
@kiwigaming09 Yes, it is, but seriously, if someone calls me "ruffian" I'm just leaving.
@@connortrowbridge honestly same i don't know know the chances of surviving a shank to the guts

@@another-derpycrafter I guess that's fair, but if just Civil War stuff... I'll be skeptical.
using the musket meme from at the beginning was a certified hood classic. you gained a new sub.
Just as the founding fathers intended to be. I like the beginning part of the video.
Ah yes, our Walcom with the Blunderbuss, just as the founding fathers intended. Now we just need the flintlock, just as the founding fathers would desire
Do i own a single blaster? No. Have i ever even fired one? No. Do i watch every one of this legend's videos? Yes.
god that comic meme thing is just perfect for this blaster
Truly intended by the founding fathers
Waiting for the nerf trebuchet that can launch a 90kg projectile over 300m
What a delightful design. Truly what the Founding Fathers have intended.
That intro was so well done lol
Can I point out the irony of talking about the founding fathers while playing "Rule Britannia" in the background? 0:00-0:27
Jollygood show old bean! 🎩
The editing and meme format for this intro was TOP notch, George would be proud
Had to watch the part at 3:01 twice cause I got distracted by the absolute JAM Layer Cake lmao
thanks for signing my musket! rag was quite fun
WHY IS MY CAR ALARM RINGING

IT HAS A BAYONET?!?!❤❤❤❤
I have no idea why UA-cam recommended this to me, but I'm here for it.
dude the intro is gonna go down in history as forever iconic
Good show lads! Just as the founding fathers intended! Muskets always good to pretect me mates!

I’m so glad you took my idea I was the one who is making the Ruffin name in the chat
Will you be doing a review on the flintlock pistol at some point? Would love to see that.
Now all we need is to get Beret to use this in a battle (also please review the other Carny Rex blasters)
More reviews of Carny Rex blasters = Good

great video , just as the founding fathers intended..
I was one of the ones that didn't know yet but you couldn't have been more right at 11:52. That would be so much fun lol
love it, i dont own a single nerf gun, but love your videos and that intro got a good chuckle out of me
Someone get this man to 1 million subscribers. Do it now.
Next is a nerf cannon with grape shot
Just fill a potato gun with nerf darts
This is what it feels like to use the Knockout for the first time
This canonizes walcom playing H3VR

I... I didn't even... Like with your mouth?
@@WalcomS7 No, the other hole.
@@WalcomS7 yes. You create a vacuum in the barrel and it will pull out the rival round if it isn’t primed.
Besides, its great practice

Marvelous, truly marvelous performance!
Ah, just as the founding fathers had intended indeed
I’m looking forward to the flintlock pistol and the mortar. Honestly I’m just looking for a reasonable pistol that shoots mega xl.
Just look for one of those little snakey plunger claw things. If you can find one long enough, you could unload the ammo back out the way it came and not have disassembly.
Hopefully a version with a descrete jam door will be released
Tallyho, lads! 0:32
Intro was beautiful.
Now we need a blunderbuss
I wish I had $150
love the "Star Ocean: Till the End of Time" music during the crono test
you could do a video where you compare different dart types, like waffle darts, short darts, long darts, rival rounds, etc
That intro was beautiful
You need to make a second rod with a corkscrew on the end so you can remove a rival round with out disassembling the blaster.
Next up, try out his Volley Gun. I'm tempted to buy it but I wanna see how it works first
The only thing that compares as a sibling to this is the Nerf (Black Series) Mandalorian 4ft Amban Phase-Pulse rifle, same singleshot capability and just as iconic 🗿🍷
I love that godamned meme so much. If it wasnt so expensive i'd get my dad 1 since he loves all things black powder
Carny Rex has also made a volleygun version, as well as Matchlock and Wheel lock nerf guns.
I love using the Titanium as a single shot. I can see the appeal.
Just as the Founding Nerfers intended!
The nerf logo is what really seals the deal.
It's the cherry on top.
I watch that video several times because of my friend showing it to me just as the founding fathers intended
TRIPLE TRIAD MUSIC ACKNOWLEDGED
The history nerds bout to make everything accurate
*that's me*
Mate that idea of a war woth everyone having one of these things would be dope af. Sign me up. Would love to recreate the end scene from Zulu 😍
I saw this meme right before this video 😂
Ps my mind needs help when he loads.
the intro was the best thing that i have seen all day, and i got my xshot ragefire today
I miss the outdoor distance testing

If I were to get one of these, I probably would replace the ram rod with something more sturdy or more easily replaceable.
Had my eye on this one for a long time.
Kudos to the actors who had to hold Rival balls in their mouths.
This joke will never get old

You had me at "Hand Mortar"!
What I wouldn't give to see two skirmish lines of these blasters face off.
I am still waiting for a V2 that solves the disassembly issue with some kind of creative mechanism.
I run his Hand Mortar for my larp, and it its effective. I love his muskets and stuff.
The colonial arc is crazy
I'd love to see a battle with everyone using one of these.

Me in a nerf war "THIS IS WHAT THE FOWNDING FATHERS INTENDED"
We knew this day would come. A nerf compatible musket was inevitable. Just as the founding fathers intended.
I have the flintlock so yeah the Parr with it was cool
More Carny Rex!!!😂
didnt expect to hear "man with the machine gun" from ff8
i love you for doing the founding fathers meme, you got a new sub

Note to self, take Dr. Murphy's advice when working out the design for a nerf style cannon. Make it idiot resistant.
You make jolly good videos sir

Hmm...
Doom Guy with a hugangous blunderbuss....
me watching you put the ram rod in first rather than putting in a round first and pushing it in with the rod while priming it for a better experience:
Just like father intended.
Put some talcum powder down it after priming, then put a rival round in and tou not only have a nerf muskes with a spherical round, but also a cool smoke affect
One of these with an airbladder would be awesome, you could pump it with the ram rod, so it would feel like you are tamping powder
You only ever missed because you couldn't see the whites of their eyes.
Also you should get a carnierex pistol
