We'll admit to being mildly skeptical at first, but once you hear music come out, the Music Frame won us over. Soon we were all gathered around it, talking about the possibilities. Put it on a stand in your home office, hang it amongst other photos on a wall, maybe even make a stereo pair for a stealth, 2-channel system. Or as rear surrounds in the right theater room!
Sound from the Music Frame is lush and detailed, and its sound defies expectations you may have if you're used to traditional speakers. Like, how can this possibly sound good lying against a wall in this boxy shape? But you'll forget all that shortly after you start playing something.
Bass is satisfyingly present, and music is presented in a wide sound stage. You can use Bluetooth, Apple AirPlay 2 and Chromecast to connect, and you can enjoy high-res tunes from TIDAL Connect and Amazon Music HD. No matter your source, the Frame really punches above its weight.
The Music Frame works with Samsung's Q-Symphony system, meaning you can pair them with other such speakers. It'll work with compatible Samsung TVs and sound bars to form a surround sound system. You can also pair two Music Frames to make a stereo pair - imagine one on either side of your flush-mounted Frame TV!

I'm confused I thought the point of it was a screen with the cover art of the song playing. You just put in a photo...🙄
The Music Frame is more of a speaker than a display and does include a frame for a traditional photo. The Frame will not display any cover art or music related images.
that was never the point of it, the point was functional tech. Technology that blends into an environment when not in use

can i put in a photo with a smaller matte? i like the look but i would want a smaller photo matte or borderless photo from my printer to work.

That power cable looks a lot like the one connect cable that Samsung already uses. If that's the case, has there been any documentation about the cable actually being in-wall rated? Fire code is a state by state basis in the United States, and in my state to put cables carrying power through a wall, it must be specially shielded and rated for in-wall use. As such a lot of people had to spring for the extra 180 dollar in wall rated cable from Samsung. I don't know if the section about cable through the wall was Crutchfield's bit or a talking point from Samsung, but man is that a dicey section
The power cable included with the Samsung Music Frame can be routed inside walls for a clean, uncluttered look. It is always your responsibility to conform to the specific building code in your location, using CL3 rated in-wall cabling if needed.
I want to get these with my newly purchased S95D-- will this integrate with the q995d sound bar? it would be nice to have a wider front sound using two of these.

what im interested in is whether i have to have that massive matte around the photo? can i just have a smaller or borderless photo that i print?
Per Samsung you can remove the mat. The frame holds one 8" x 10" picture with a viewing window of 8x8".
This background music is extremely weird. And you forgot to review half of the products functionality. I just received mine and I have no idea how to put an 8x8 or 8x10 piece of art inside without damaging it thanks to the immovable plastic tabs on all 4 sides.
