One thing I do like about the white space is that you can use we/dry erase markers on the glass on that space. Then you can decorate the frame for the holidays vs switching out the photo (or you can always do both!) Another way to optimize that "wasted" space is to get magnet stickers so you can hang magnets-photos ect....and make it a little more scrap-book style. So it all comes down to ppl's individual style, but I think it's nice to have room for some fun and creative ideas. I agree about them making a smaller one tho. Def need one we can stick on a bookshelf. Maybe they can incorporate date, time, weather into the frame as an optional option. I agree about the photo not being digital. Especially for people like us who aren't hooked up to the Internet majority of the time.
It does have an optical port, but its focused on working wirelessly through Samsung's Q-symphony (as mentioned, only compatible with 2024 TV's)@@vroooom
Yeah it looks stealthy and all but 400$? Nah I could buy an ultimate ears hyperboom for 380$ and its gonna sound a LOT better, I could even buy 2 for less than 800$
@kevinthetechninja Just recieved one for my self to review! I am used to the quality of B&O so I'm very "picky" on the sound quality of my products, but this one delivers as a very good "background speaker" for the times you are working late, want something to play in the background when having friends and family over etc. But you mentioned that the buttons doesn't let you know if they register your clicks or not, but if you look at the bottom center you can see the LED lights light up as you touch the buttons and show which way you are adjusting the volume etc.
When I first saw it, it looked like the image would be the album art. Bummer.
I feel iffy like I like a screen, but I also like that it’s not a
Thought so too:(
that's an idea for the 2nd gen for sure LOL, and it will be 2x the price
I thought this was a digital picture frame, not a stattic one till I saw it later. Def seems like a 1st gen deivcie.
That white "frame" is a passepartout, its a common way to create focus in art.

I would like to purchase one of these for Christmas 🎄
How do I get Google assistant to work on it?
Main issue is lack of dual surround/atmos support.
Hey! Does this work with an older Samsung The Frame? Or only the 2024 model?
Just 2024
@@Techninjaspeaks So if I bought this to use as a soundbar underneath a 2021 Frame, it wouldn't work? There's no optical in or anything?

A curious question: Are there people over eighty years of age who are very elderly people who own and will use modern smart phones???🎉
Probably but I don't think they're interested in modern day phones unless it helps with their health care
The Ikea SYMFONISK Picture frame w Sonos Wi-Fi speaker is a much better buy
How so?
