I'm ONLY going to say that Nathan said "disappeared in that car crash" becuase in his mind, they're not dead. He doesn't believe there is a difference between dead and alive anymore. The fact that he didn't say "dead" is actually a very clever detail I didn't notice until you pointed it out. And yeah, I agree with all your game design errors.

Here's some sins you missed: * Jodie and Ryan, the two white people, dress up as Chinese soldiers and not use the ONE ASIAN GUY in their group * Jodie's in pain when Nick kills an enemy possessed by Aiden, but when Aiden kills the person he has possessed she feels nothing. * When in the underground Chinese sealab ghost demon doesn't just go through the wall to "save" Jodie but comes up through the opening * The forced "father-daughter" relationship between Jodie and Nathan
Not only that, but they stripped them for their uniforms, which had been magically dry cleaned of all the blood and brain matter (two of the soldiers were shot in the head).

You actually missed a ton of sins. Not even joking. Here are the ones I can think of without looking back. 1 sin - Neither Ryan or Jodie would have made it up that amount of ice water. Especially Ryan. Why? That giant gaping wound in one of his eye sockets wouldn't help him out very well at all. In fact, he'd submit seconds after hitting the water. 1 sin - 'Military wants to use new scientific discovery thing as a weapon' cliche. 1 sin - The military planned on invading the ghost world... with their bullets and guns... despite _knowing_ that their bullets and guns that have no effect on the ghosts. Brilliant. 2 sins - There is not only one, but two attempted rape scenes in the entire game. Each only serve the purpose of "you feelz bad 4 Jodie now, riiiight? Look how edgy our game is!" But such scenes actually deliver nothing for the main plot of the story. 1 sin - One attempted rape scene is when Jodie is scouring the streets for money. She can follow a guy into an alley where the lone male will attempt to force himself onto Jodie. There, she somehow forgets about all of her combat training only for Aiden to save her... then remembers those combat skills later that very same day to thrash around an entire group of dudes. 1 sin - In the scene mentioned above, there's a guy who is comfortably sitting on a bench that's still covered completely in snow. 1 sin - After another attempted rape scene at the bar, the guy who got shot pointblank in the face with a shotgun will still have his face fully intact. 1 sin - If Aiden even mildly harms a single kid during the birthday party and does nothing else... Aiden will set the entire house on fire. No kids will be out on the lawn out of harms way. They'll be on fire. Aiden was clearly unborn to be a hero. 1 sin - Mystic grandma will talk to Jodie and no one else for whatever reason. 1 sin - The conclusion of the car chase in Africa was with Jodie and crew mysteriously teleporting away from the wreck to conveniently evade pursuers. 20 sins - The military decided to send their highly experimental one-of-a-kind weapon into a war zone in another country... alone and unsupervised. Wasn't even trained to understand the native language. She was even told there wouldn't be any help for her at all. But despite that, they still sent a fully armed copter to extract her in the middle of a ton of raging civies. What a great covert mission! 100+ sins - Despite Ellen Page not wanting to be displayed to be in full nude for the game, David Cage had an actual nude model pasted on Jodie for the shower scene. Creepy. Once discovered, Ellen Page swore to never work with video games ever again. 100+ sins - I know it was touched on before, but let me say that it wasn't touched on enough: you can put the controller down and the game will pretty much play itself. You can completely fail all of the game's sequences (with the exception of the MGS 4 Ghost Hallway scene) and get to choose a nice and happy ending for the game. Fuck awards for effort. Fuck those that actually tried at the game. Everyone wins a bunch of bullshit. 100+ sins - There are tons of uncounted sins in scenes where you fail objectives and QTEs. GCN here gets -100 sins for clearly being a fan of the Sw1tcher channel.
Ohohoh! There's more! David Cage originally intended for the attempted rape at the bar to... well, be far more than an 'attempt'. There's even audio files that were ripped from the game of Jodie asking Aiden "why didn't you stop them?" Ding! 100 creepy sin points! Would have been way more points added if someone didn't hit that delete key.
The game seems to hide the age gap between Jodie and Ryan very abruptly. Considering it went from Jodie's "adolescent pouting" to now they act as if they are the same age it's kinda fucked up
Her memory is faded and disappearing. The narrative is derived from her broken mind at the end of the game. She is attempting to write down her account before everything is gone. It is actually incredibly beautiful.
yes, indeed... and i really loved the ending...but it is terribly sad too.... i really felt bad at the end when i realized she was losing her memories... and although Ryan is a dick, i wondered where he is... Strange games and as it is seem here, terribly 'sinny', yet i loved it and will sureplay though again soon.
@Joe L'Horri trash? why do you say that? I still believe the game is nice to play and i think the idea is great. I wish more different choices were presented to the player, but it is still one of the most incredible experience (to be a kind of ghost) in videogame i play through. In fact, i always wanted to play a game in which i would be a ghost or some kind of invisible character.
@Joe L'Horri Well, you have to take Richard comment into account Joe. Like he said, she is trying to tell a story base on her fading memory of the events... so it does make sense. But, i have to agree on the fact, i was derouted at some points, but i believe it is because of the strange relationship between her and her 'gardien' who is also 'using her' for research and later to reach her dead family... i find it confusing but in a way also very 'human' an experience...
The fuck are you talking about? If you pick the Beyond ending Jodie is a literal ghost. She cannot possibly write anything down. What memory is fading? There is no reason to believe this. The game never says anything about that. The game literally starts with Jodie in Terminator 2 rip-off future, but you can still pick an ending where she is dead during the same scene. Nothing about this game makes sense. Telling it out of order achieves nothing but to disconnect any emotion the audience can feel, just because David Cage a hack writer who really liked Memento at the time.
Yourson Isold LOL wow 5 years ago. If you played the game, at the end, Jodie is trying to write down everything she can remember about what happened. Her memory is fading. So the memories come to her broken and that’s how we, the audience, experience the story. Also, this game is very old, relax. But nice try 👍🏼
The number of sins equates to how frustrating that part of the game is. I agree with the 30 sins for the narrative, it was very confusing and felt like 15 stories in one. Once you grew attached to a part it would switch to something without any closure.
You should have added the fact that young Jodie has the exact same straight face no matter what happens, no matter what emotion she portrays. She has one stone face the entire game
11:09 thank god I'm not alone with that reaction Regarding the Navajo storyline, let me add a few more sins below: - The-Native-American-and-ghosts-connection-cliche - How the hell did she get into the middle of the desert anyway - The suddenly-talking-silent-grandma-cliche - There is a dying guy in the house but they cannot find a fifth person to complete the ritual - Grandma screams "You did it JODIE" - When Jodie is leaving the ranch, she's like "I know what I have to do now", as if this whole thing had any impact on her character (or the story) at all I feel like the whole Quantic dev team is super talented, if only they had an intelligent director...
My issue with the game is that it promotes suicide, as you see with Gobbie. Also, for a game that doesn't really let you risk the character's life until the end- it shows that there are no consequences for dying- which is in a way- the ultimate consequence. Also, also- the Infraworld is portrayed as an ideal world where you basically can do whatever you want without worrying about the concept of evil. So what in the Sam Hill were those dark monsters?! Why are they so blood thirsty? What part do they play in the Infraworld- where they supposedly come from? Why were they after Jodie? What's the point of life if the "after world" is the subject of perfection? Wouldn't it just make sense to wipe out everyone and just spend the rest of eternity not having to worry about illnesses or aging?
See I was wondering that. The dude offs himself and does not face consequences for the act. So it must be morally reprehensible right? But I started wondering. All consequence to suicide we know comes from religion, an unreliable source. We don't know if there is a hell, or even an afterlife for that matter. I hope we don't go "puff" of course but all we can have is a opinion. In the game his existence did not end, nor gets judged to eternal torment, but in our every day reality we don't know what awaits us, so It's unfair to say that the game promotes suicide. It's just a different reality with it's own sets of rules. What this game promotes is shitty gameplay. That it does.
Megumi Goose You see, my only problem with your analysis is that you seem to think that the game is trying to emulate reality, in the view of it's creators. But this is a work of fiction. No more relatable to real life than "The Force" or X-Man mutants. I understand that you fell the way you do, but I find it odd that you come to the conclusions you do. I do honestly hope my opinions don't offend you. Farewell.
Guilherme Sabino Wait, what? X-Men and the prejudice the mutants fight in it is there so people can relate to it. That's what fiction is. Putting people in different situations so people can escape. But to be able to escape there has to be a door to slip through, which means there's always something to relate to. If there wasn't why would we care? It's why the majority of the people who first loved Star Wars were young men. Because they were watching a young man getting put in situations out of his control, which on a basic level we can all relate to. That's what makes stories lovable. Especially video games. As a writer/storyteller, the worst thing you can do is make every single thing unrelatable. It's why people get so angry as Mary Sues and Gary Stues and little things like "That should have killed him/her!" Sorry, went off on a rant, because I have really strong feelings about this type of thing. What I'm mostly trying to get to, is that this game is using human people, trying to act human, on earth. It just adds another layer onto the world we already know. That is VERY relatable. :D Have a nice day!
I'm not offended at all ^u^- we all have a different set of experiences that accumulate to how we perceive the world. It would be weird if we all came to the same conclusions. Then we'd be more like the Borg. But I agree with Tad- the fiction that I've seen does try to relate to reality in some form or another. I probably feel this way because in terms of story telling- I tend to lean toward, how would this actually happen if we changed x, y, and z.((For example, if there really was the force, or if there really was magic, how would that effect the world in terms of culture and so on and so forth)) I have trouble suspending disbelief if it strays too far from reality or breaks its own rules. Of course- again, it's just the way I see things. :)
literally the only time your choices have any impact on the story whatsoever is right at the very end where the game quiet literally tells you to pick an ending.
Ryan NEVER ages, it is impossible for Jodie to date Ryan because when she first meets him she is at least 12 years younger than him. So in order for them to date they would have to be in or around the same age group, which she shouldn't be. But the game demands it! Obviously, this problem lasts throughout the game so it's worth about 30 sins. (sin counter +30)
You know you can date someone older/younger than you, it's not impossible and most men look the same I mean Jodie doesn't age either so it's kind of an invalid point and even if it was "Impossible" It would not be worth 30 sin points because the whole Ryan and Jodie relationship just scrapped the surface of the plotline. It's not consistent throughout the whole game nor does their relationship impact the story line very much.
Sin 250 doesn't work because of a little thing called "character development and growth." her powers have grown throughout the story at that point because she's in a later part, it makes sense she can send Aiden out further.
I think the fact that David Cage didn't make it clear enough that you could save Paul counts as a sin. Seriously, I know for a fact no one saved Paul in their first playthrough of the game and would never have found out if it weren't for the internet and the trophies.
The part where they're on the train and it is such a rough ride that the player in knocked back and forth at every step is ridiculous. That amount of continuous motion on a passenger train which travel at 50-60 miles an hour on average would cause the train to derail. Clearly they don't move that much.
+Nana Yaw I bought the game as I loved Heavy Rain... Sadly, my old PS3 Fat Console just will not play it no matter what I try... And my PS3 Slim is buggered!!! :(
Nana Yaw Wish I knew! There are no scratches n the disc, it just won't load... My PS3 Slim has just died... The Video ports have gone and the HDD is dead
He can write thing on the mirror etc. ... Or he could just move some children toys with letters on them into name, she was like "Mom what is it?" she read it to her and woala.
Is this really what the game is like? It has got to be the most boring game ever, and the narrative isn't even that good! Seems like a game made for graphical show-off.
Extend on sin: "You hated him a minute ago but now your having dinner with him, I feel like im watching that Simpsons episode with Lisa's future, you know the one with the wedding?"
I actually think this guy watched the TBFP LP of this because most of his sins are the same exact problems Matt, Pat and Woolie had with this game right down to the Metal Gear Solid Microwave stealing, Terminator style set up and being disgusted by David Cage's egotistical Infraworld dedication, either that or it's a coincidence. To be fair, I don't blame him or Two Best Friends because this game is a terrible mess and the defenders of this game are just showing how stupid they are.
i still loved the game despite its flaws. But yes, i do enjoy playing a ghost creature going around and messing things up! At some points, yes many sins it deserves, but i think there was a tremendous potential with this that went a little in all direction without a stronger story. Sad. But i am looking forward to play my forth playthrough soon. But maybe i am just a little baby... ;)
Subscribed! I really enjoyed this. Took long enough for someone to come out with a sins videogame version. Wish you all the luck and success, hope this gets big.
"Hope this gets big" PPPPPPPPPPPPPPFFFFFFFFFFFTTTTT Only if CinemaSins himself decided to do this but that would be stealing someone else's idea oh wait.....
Jay Kay It's the same PEOPLE!!!! Cinema Sins is made up of multiple people, the guy who does the VO for these videos has done a few on cinema sins also. It's done by the same group!!!
Astonvman007 No its not. CinemaSins is made up of TWO people. The guy who does the voice over and another one who edits THATS IT. Everyone else who takes their ideas and just changes the subject matter is unoriginal and un-creative.
I don't get it. Why would Jodie want to sneak out to go to a bar by herself anyway? A few establishing min of some girls saying they'll meet her there, even if they would just betray her, would've made this much more believable.
I liked this game a lot, in fact I loved it and was very entranced by it but I did think GCN got a lot of points right, especially the forced relationships.
this and Heavy Rain would be so much more fun if you could actually freeroam to the different areas at any time and each area had a day/night cycle and different characters you could build relationships with......
At 6:00 the guy wasn’t giving a presentation when the facility was engulfed in flames. Jodie was having flashbacks of what was happening before all the chaos with the entities started..
hehe, don't you guys think you're being too immature about this? i mean like these guys and cinema sins make up sins sometimes just for the laughs, it's not to insult the community but for the fun of comedy. now let your brain grow to understand what's going on.
But sometimes adding something for laughs 75% of the time for this channel ends up not being funny, I understand where your going at, but these guys cant do it right
Also with the Africa scene, you're telling me the CIA is gonna send a lone agent to the middle of an African warzone not only without backup but without ANY way for that agent to communicate with the locals or blend in? Bullshit.
No apparently David Cage would never confuse Metal Gear solid with real life. Cause apparently Metal Gear is the sum of everything wrong with games, in David Cage's mind
Yeah, the major issue I had with this game was how they tried to force you to feel bad for the main character. For example, the child in the snowy street segment was forced and unbelievable. The birthday party with other kids was very contrived and the other kids were one-dimensional cutouts. The entire game screamed in your ear "FEEL BAD FOR JODIE OR YOU ARE AN ASSHOLE" every second and it was annoying. The overuse of QTE was obnoxious too. But the graphics were great. That's about it.
5:54. The scientist was not doing a presentation in a room filled with flames. Jodie was reliving his last memory. The flames are surrounding her, not him.
I know I'm 4 years late but the other choices made no sense and the game was pretty much pushing the players to choose Ryan. Hell, if you choose someone else, there's a cutscene of Jodie explaining to Ryan why she doesn't want to be with him lol
I was very happy to see the you call out the whole, "I'm starving but somehow have energy to run/fight" thing. It's so annoying! Why do so many writers think that hunger and dehydration have zero consequences? I don't think I saw anything in this one that I disagreed with.
TBH if people like CinemaSins you know that cinemasins will never do game sins so im glad that theres people hwo do that Cinema are not the only one with sins theres games too
there is still some refinement needed in their execution though and they cant just be an asshole about opening narratives unless it is irrelevant or extensively convoluted for absolutely no reason. games no matter how cinematic should be treated differently in this way.
Oh my god some of the "sins" are just ridiculous. Seems like he has more of a problem with David Cage then the game itself. I know he is trying to be funny but its hard to laugh when the nit pics are so stupid. This game was well done and obviously is not meant for people who prefer gameplay over story. Great game if you enjoy Story over gameplay every now and then.
More like character over gameplay. There's not much story, it's more like a supernatural Tree of Life. Just a bunch of moments in Jodie's life, up to the end of course, where the story comes in, but by then, it's kinda... late.
Robert Lugo I really don't understand why its such a huge problem that the game isn't in normal order. The hell is so wrong with that? also it does have a story its the story of Jodie's life so yes its a game about character. In my opinion its an interesting character.
movieman175 No, I like the character too. The out of order thing seems like a cheap thing to impress Chris Nolan or Tarantino, not to mention kinda rips into the chance of seeing the character develop. Like Cage wrote a bunch of interesting scenarios for Jodie, but didn't know how to write them into the narrative that seamlessly.
Robert Lugo Oh no, he can put a shit ton of character development into characters, but like you said, the misused narrative kinda ruins it, and he should have known better
I honestly don't know why people actually like this game. It is completely atrocious and only gets past the mark because a bunch of teeny bopper, non gaming, hipsters find it "Interesting" or "Different". This $60 game just fails to impress. Wonky gameplay, ridiculous plot, and an excuse to fill the designer's wallet. Every fucking person who owns a PS3 at my school loves this game! WTF! Okay, how many actual games have you played? What is an Indie Game? What does RDMing mean? If you can't answer those simple questions without bitching, crying about them, or giving reasonable results, you are obviously not experienced with a well integrated game and most likely, love this game. I hope we do not stoop this low in the future, I am talking to the Game Programmers who made this shit!
futurewriter87 It is not crying, it is critiquing. Giving my structured opinion. I am not to choose which games people like and I knew someone was going to bitch about that to me because I crushed their little game to bits. My apologies but I have a right to share my instincts and I honestly never thought someone would be such a tight ass about it .
futurewriter87 Since when did everyone's stasis of the FPS genre and my orgasmic love for it come from? I am not a fan of COD, you just assume so because you expect everyone to like the same games you like. How mature. My favorite genre is fantasy, this includes MMORPG's. one being Guild Wars 2 which is my favorite game of all time. Let me guess, you are going to bash on that next? Oh, it doesn't matter, it's not like I would give a shit. You also didn't back up your response factually. Your assumptions just show your bullshit in the fact you have never played a good game and obviously support this one to your little heart's content. I hope I didn't stutter sir.
futurewriter87 Then why the hell are you here?! HAHA! You stated practically the games I love and play on a daily, weekly basis. CHECK OUT MY FUCKING CHANNEL FOR GOD'S SAKE XD And if you are not remorsed by that point, hell, I don't know what to tell you. You can comment again if you want but that won't solve anything. But, sure go ahead bud ;D
You being a dumbass and not realizing that you can't "steal" something that's not physical unless they're releasing the EXACT same video is infinite sins of it's own *ding*
12:04 here's a delicious plot hole / mistake addition for you: grandma (Shimasani) gets killed and buried, then after that when Jodie drives away with motorcycle, the grandma is back sitting normally in her wheelchair. Paul (the father) should be out of this scene too if you failed to heal him.
Honestly I like this game and HONESTLY this game made me cry a couple of times ( not sure if I should be ashamed about or not ) but this video really maked me laugh. so good job GCN :)
15:05 he said you're a witch how can you do that? 15:26 he said I will not leave you , I stay next to you , I can help you 15:47 he said i need you don't leave me don't leave me
Or maybe because David Cage is a fucking lazy writer who doesn't want to do any of that pesky character development thingy unless he absolutely has to?
One missed sin: "Perfectly clean baby straight out of the womb to avoid grossing out the audience cliche."
It wouldn't get passed censorship if it had blood on the baby and I don't think you would want to see that either .-.
Whitechest Kitty AC2 had a freshly born baby with a fresh coat of blood on it and it received no backlash.

* When in the underground Chinese sealab ghost demon doesn't just go through the wall to "save" Jodie but comes up through the opening

Here's another one: The game actually gives players the option to c**k-block the main chracter.

***** Yup. It's all too true. David Cage is officially a total creep. There's no way he would have not known about the additions to the nude model.
+Key Strix No whammy bar on guitar, Ding!
josef7ark And the guitar is wireless! Ding!
Forgot about that one.
Key Strix hmm.
If Ryan was in the C.I.A. when Jodie was a teenager, then how can they possibly date? *ding*
she was 18 already but you’re right, it’s still weird
The game seems to hide the age gap between Jodie and Ryan very abruptly. Considering it went from Jodie's "adolescent pouting" to now they act as if they are the same age it's kinda fucked up
"What if i told you... Pay phones are disappering so we can't get out of the matrix"
Oh shit
but it’s not always pay phones
“SHIMASANI!!!” Itself being a sin was one of the funniest things I’ve EVER fucking seen
This game story is like someone clicked shuffle on the chapter serlect screen
some sins make me wonder if they were really paying attention to the game -_-
its a fucking quantic dreams game so yeah, i think they saw a lot of mistakes along the way, and didnt air it.
In uncharted he took off a sin for the no subtitles but here he added a sin
Gamerguy3000 Just trying to find every reason to give it a sin.
hey lee!
I've started to like Gamingsins, but in this video, you're pretty much like "A character sneezed! 40 sins!"
Pyrofusion15 I don't see that. What exactly did he nitpick that's equal to that comment?
+Pyrofusion15 A butthurt butthurting!
+50 sins! *Ding*
+Pyrofusion15 He's kinda trying way too hard for sins.
" Barbie Dolls" *Ding!*
ohh plz. he gave over 2.000 sins to twd season 1. what do you expect?
The number of sins equates to how frustrating that part of the game is. I agree with the 30 sins for the narrative, it was very confusing and felt like 15 stories in one. Once you grew attached to a part it would switch to something without any closure.
i REALLY hate the CIA guy, and I've never met anyone who picked him, even when the plot REALLY wants you too
Also the actor that plays him is in the tv show The Rookie, he plays Bradford
@@metal13panda76he always has to play the alpha male gigachad character lol
You should have added the fact that young Jodie has the exact same straight face no matter what happens, no matter what emotion she portrays. She has one stone face the entire game
This game would be good if David Cage didn't make it.
11:09 thank god I'm not alone with that reaction
Regarding the Navajo storyline, let me add a few more sins below:
- The-Native-American-and-ghosts-connection-cliche
- How the hell did she get into the middle of the desert anyway
- The suddenly-talking-silent-grandma-cliche
- There is a dying guy in the house but they cannot find a fifth person to complete the ritual
- Grandma screams "You did it JODIE"
- When Jodie is leaving the ranch, she's like "I know what I have to do now", as if this whole thing had any impact on her character (or the story) at all
I feel like the whole Quantic dev team is super talented, if only they had an intelligent director...
WAIT if you join the C.I.A you sign a document stating you will reveal no detail of your training
which is why she said Army and not CIA.
*****
why would the army let in a teenager?
Don't know. It was obviously a lie though.
James O'Neill She has a fucking ghost which can block bullets and help her survive a fall from a helicopter. Still wondering why?
Last Phantom
it seems kind of half-assed
and the fact that no sequel has came out yet.
I agree David Cage should make a sequel to this game
Gabriel Carter no
For the love of god no
My issue with the game is that it promotes suicide, as you see with Gobbie.
That it does.
futurewriter87 Yes, yes it is.
Farewell.
Guilherme Sabino
Wait, what? X-Men and the prejudice the mutants fight in it is there so people can relate to it. That's what fiction is. Putting people in different situations so people can escape. But to be able to escape there has to be a door to slip through, which means there's always something to relate to. If there wasn't why would we care? It's why the majority of the people who first loved Star Wars were young men. Because they were watching a young man getting put in situations out of his control, which on a basic level we can all relate to. That's what makes stories lovable. Especially video games. As a writer/storyteller, the worst thing you can do is make every single thing unrelatable. It's why people get so angry as Mary Sues and Gary Stues and little things like "That should have killed him/her!"
Sorry, went off on a rant, because I have really strong feelings about this type of thing.
May i ask if you have watching Two Best Friends Play???
Yes, of course. They're one of our favorite Let's Players. The HYPEST channel on UA-cam!!!!!
And for that you get a coolkie.
GameCareNetwork do you watch GameSocietyPimps there like 2 best friends there quite funny
GCN I just watched this video, and was JUST about to post this exact same comment, because I KNEW!

Oh the rage from these comments. I'm not troll but I do find this to be deilcious.

Cubi Studios And the Master Chief reference post end. Amazing
David Cage is like a 15 year old boy who wants to be Christopher Nolan
.
Sin 250 doesn't work because of a little thing called "character development and growth." her powers have grown throughout the story at that point because she's in a later part, it makes sense she can send Aiden out further.
Consider this a guilty pleasure. I think all of the points you bring up are valid, but I still had a blast.
Clearly they don't move that much.
loved this game. don't know why it didn't do that well commercially
+Nana Yaw David Cage.
+Nana Yaw I bought the game as I loved Heavy Rain... Sadly, my old PS3 Fat Console just will not play it no matter what I try... And my PS3 Slim is buggered!!! :(
Warren Marris how come?
Nana Yaw Wish I knew! There are no scratches n the disc, it just won't load... My PS3 Slim has just died... The Video ports have gone and the HDD is dead
Warren Marris bad luck
You forgot one sin:
How the hell can Jodie know that his name is Aiden, i mean he's an entity, he can't talk or communicate whatsoever.
"No, you love eet." -David Cage
ryrysteam "Oh no, I made zee bad gahme." -David Cage
"Can I call you Aiden? Shake the table if you're ok with that. Ok cool, Aiden it is"
He can write thing on the mirror etc. ... Or he could just move some children toys with letters on them into name, she was like "Mom what is it?" she read it to her and woala.
That would be a 100 Sin
I think the real sin at 17:14 is the fact that jodie didn't want to spend two minutes looking the president's name up online.
Is this really what the game is like? It has got to be the most boring game ever, and the narrative isn't even that good! Seems like a game made for graphical show-off.
Please don't assume how it is from this wack ass video series.
Extend on sin: "You hated him a minute ago but now your having dinner with him, I feel like im watching that Simpsons episode with Lisa's future, you know the one with the wedding?"
The 100-sin thing you did for David Cage could also easily apply to Michael Bay and M. Night Shyamalan in film
DIO's Scary Monster and THE WORLD GIMMIE HIGHFIVE DIO!
i still loved the game despite its flaws.
Same here bro! (high fives)
"Hope this gets big" PPPPPPPPPPPPPPFFFFFFFFFFFTTTTT Only if CinemaSins himself decided to do this but that would be stealing someone else's idea oh wait.....
Jay Kay CS does a few sketches on videogames, nothing more. i wouldn't say that fits in the category, he's more into the movie business.
The black kid speaking Arabic is speaking it *soooooo* badly it physically hurts.
Ellen Page made a huge mistake picking this game over TLOU lmao
She could have been in The Last of us?
@@ericrhodes5174 no.....

You should try Bioshock Infinite.
That should have loads of sins
PLEASEEEEEE! PLEASEEEEEE DO THAT! PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEE.
You should have done a bonus round of all the times when Aiden should have helped Jodie, but didn't cause.... reasons?!?
this and Heavy Rain would be so much more fun if you could actually freeroam to the different areas at any time and each area had a day/night cycle and different characters you could build relationships with......
6:58 that comment didn’t age well
also whats up with david cage and shower scences
why so many
becuase naked women
yeah that makes sense, god hes creepy
+Max Raya David cage is many many things
yep
24:44 the ending of every classic resident evil game. *ding*
I love how obvious it is that you guys are a fan of the Two Best Friends.
I love how he doesnt even explain who david cage is and assumes everyone watching is in the Sadness Trilogy Train
But sometimes adding something for laughs 75% of the time for this channel ends up not being funny, I understand where your going at, but these guys cant do it right
VentusSliver only some jokes dont cut it but it's still has some good laughs
RANDOMNATION! Yeah, I know, but most of them just suck
Another Sin - Aiden mechanics literally rips off Driver: San Francisco's Shift Mechanics.
Also with the Africa scene, you're telling me the CIA is gonna send a lone agent to the middle of an African warzone not only without backup but without ANY way for that agent to communicate with the locals or blend in? Bullshit.
+warhawk9566 Yeah, I think David Cage has confused Metal Gear Solid with reality. That would actually explain a lot.
No apparently David Cage would never confuse Metal Gear solid with real life. Cause apparently Metal Gear is the sum of everything wrong with games, in David Cage's mind
warhawk9566 He's just jealous that no one would care if his name was on the box.
+warhawk9566 David cage also doesn't use the cardboard box like hideo.
I hated this game. It was just a big cut scene with some "Press X" every now and then to change sides on your bed or jump.
press x to sleep should have been a meme
0:43 Ghost Trick not only already did it, it did it WAYYY better
I actually love this game.
Coo
My condolences.
14:05 It's delivery, not Digiorno. Mark it as a sin.
5:54. The scientist was not doing a presentation in a room filled with flames. Jodie was reliving his last memory. The flames are surrounding her, not him.
you do realize you could have chosen whom you end up with you, don't you?
I know I'm 4 years late but the other choices made no sense and the game was pretty much pushing the players to choose Ryan.
Hell, if you choose someone else, there's a cutscene of Jodie explaining to Ryan why she doesn't want to be with him lol
@@wastedpunk407 I guess you are right. Fortunately, we can choose to not end up with Ryan.
I would've chosen Willam Dafoe
@@paulk6399 ew
only objection I have is the sin at 7:30, telling anybody you were CIA and now homeless would spook anybody
I made the same damn objection but for an entirely different reason
The biggest sin is that this game was made in the first place.
True
26:34 David Cage rips off Clock Tower II: The Struggle Within.
Granted, that game was awful in basically every other area, but so is this one.
3:03 cracks me up everytime XD
I was very happy to see the you call out the whole, "I'm starving but somehow have energy to run/fight" thing. It's so annoying! Why do so many writers think that hunger and dehydration have zero consequences?
I don't think I saw anything in this one that I disagreed with.
TBH if people like CinemaSins you know that cinemasins will never do game sins so im glad that theres people hwo do that Cinema are not the only one with sins theres games too
I love that this series exist. I've always wanted a gaming sins series from CinemaSins but you guys do a good job at it ^.^
there is still some refinement needed in their execution though and they cant just be an asshole about opening narratives unless it is irrelevant or extensively convoluted for absolutely no reason. games no matter how cinematic should be treated differently in this way.
omg 8 years ago
"is this black mesa" glad i wasnt the only one thinking that during that scene
At 15:09, he said: "You're a witch/wizard/magician, how are you able to do that?".
This guy really hates David Cage 🤣
man, some of the so called "sins" are such horse shit...
Silly Ellie yeap, not gonna argue with that... I meant... in general...
3:00 I’m not gonna lie that cop actually scared me the first time I played 😅
Oh my god some of the "sins" are just ridiculous. Seems like he has more of a problem with David Cage then the game itself. I know he is trying to be funny but its hard to laugh when the nit pics are so stupid. This game was well done and obviously is not meant for people who prefer gameplay over story. Great game if you enjoy Story over gameplay every now and then.
*Clap Clap* Now there is someone that has common sense. I congratulate you sir *Clap Clap*
Why is this video no longer available ?! ;-;
20:55 All I see is a shity version of the torture where Big Boss lost an eye in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
I hope we do not stoop this low in the future, I am talking to the Game Programmers who made this shit!
what gameplay?
I'd agree, but at least Heavy Rain was pretty cool.
futurewriter87 It is not crying, it is critiquing.

Stealing the sins series from a big youtube celebrity is worth 1,000,000,000 sins on it's own. *ding*
You being a dumbass and not realizing that you can't "steal" something that's not physical unless they're releasing the EXACT same video is infinite sins of it's own *ding*
Yea you're right. It's called plagiarizing. *DING*
But in all seriousness I already opened up to these series. I watched some of the other knock offs of Cinema and this one is the best one.
In case you didn't realize, the same people that do cinema sins are the SAME people that do these videos also.
Really? I didn't realize it was soooo obvious.
It’s intentional. It’s meant to signify that they’re watching them.
I think she only feels pain when she and Aiden are separated IF they are attached.
Lauren A Oh my lord they are attached up until the end of the game
I really loved this video! Keep up the great work man!

not only that she is a total bitch and not hardened at all after being in the conflicts that she was been in? Id be pissed and mad as fuck
well she was born with aiden attached so she had probably a hard life so she probably had little character development because her troubles
Or maybe because David Cage is a fucking lazy writer who doesn't want to do any of that pesky character development thingy unless he absolutely has to?
