Fellow sufferer here in UK. I suffer with tech habits, and mental health, in fact are the two separate ?! Got my Neo, got RCN3, motion/ n3 goggles. I’m finding a power bank helps when the first battery dies, pretty soon after you’re through the third one, the first one is getting close to ready again. The satellite thing, I’m surprised you’re expecting it to find them while sat in a metal box ? I’ve got a sunroof in my car and find I can pop that open and reach out to sit it on the glass. Works well. I’m very new to DJI, but had a few nasty cheap drones before. Done very little with them. The Neo and DJI ecosystem is allowing me to really stretch my legs. I think a massive part of its capability is the safety of the enclosed props when flying near strangers. If this thing hits someone you’d apologise just like it was an errant frisbee. That’s about it really. It’s magic, that it can achieve such great footage and be fly able one its own, with phone, with controller, with FPV/goggles. This is a revolution happening in accessibility for so many folks. Keep safe. 😀

It needs the rc n3. Also, you need to be outside the car. The mini drones will always get satatites inside the car, but the neo struggles inside a car.
I own multiple of the NEO i have experienced no GPS issues also bud don't be in a car filming a video trying to prove an issue about GPS while inside a metal car :)
@@RayDeLuca yes I get this lol. But I had continuous issues in the middle of the ocean in Hawaii in corn fields and open spaces so didn't care too much about the car. ;)
Thanks for the info! Am trying to decide which drone to get now so this was helpful. Would love a pair of those gloves for the cold weather drone flights. Thanks!
Trick for no wind or light winds most time is early....the earlier the better. It means hauling your backside out of bed earlier than your used to but if you're a drone keener especially with the Neo...ya gotta do what you gotta do lol.
@@AtortAerials True with at trade off though. Jittery video if wind is bouncing the drone around and less battery life as the drone is working harder to keep station.
My Neo seems similar to yours, once you got the aircraft outside of your car. Mine does however take quite a while to go from 22/24 sats to above 30 sats. I'm assuming this is normal behaviour for the Neo - still love it!
My Neo lost gps signal and crashed into a lake that I've flown over a good handful of times on New Year's Day. In retrospect, I think it was because I just pulled the drone out to fly once it connected to my RC2 and DIDN'T wait a few minutes a strong GPS lock. Luckily, with my DJI refresh, I received my replacement drone within days.
@@AtortAerials the NEO wil absolutly shits its pants over water. if you absolutly need to be over water make sure you are atleast up 2 meters, so it's not relying on the downward sensors. or make sure you are flying full manual.
Neo just does not have a decent GPS chip , they are all the same , even mine in the UK does the same , I just had to get used to it and expect the drop back to Atti mode at times . I have used it with the RC2 with screen the RCN3 remote the new hand Dongle , Goggles 3 , it behavs the same no matter what controller is used .
Get out of your car! Obviously a metal box will restrict the ability to acquire sufficient satellites. Also you should try a different phone or the RC2 controller with the built in screen and see if your issue persists...my guess is that its a phone issue.

В rc n3 просто одна батарея, он даже легче. Вот и вся разница с rc n2. А так они оба поддерживают окусинк 4. Поэтому разницы нет какой пульт n2 или n3.
