I got a modern 116503 with the champagne dial from my AD for USD 16.600 just a few years ago, but now new from the store is $22.900, so it's a win situation for me anyway.

First was VC Gen 2 chronograph in with blue dial. You were spot on. That watch soo sought after by soo many people
Glad to know i could help! Ironically - the VC Overseas video was one of the ones I shot with TP360 - it's such a beautiful watch, especially that blue dial...nothing like it. IMO it's even nicer than the current gen's blue dial.
The featured 16523 is super overpolished... the lugs have become polished instead of brushed?
