thanks for the tip 😁👍
😊😊😊😊
That moment when you size the bracelet down one microadjust position and its too tight, but when you adjust it up one position its too loose
happened with mine. took a link out, too tight, put it back in, annoyingly loose.
I am going thru the same issue…. I am done with steel bracelet watches. Rubber or leather band is the way to go.
Same here happened for me too, it sucks
@@1left2live21 That's always been my philosophy, but I finally said I need a proper steel bracelet watch. Especially for Summer. I bought a Steinhart with thankfully a very comfortable, adjustable band. First time I've ever. Adjusted it myself too.
😢me too.
My preference is wearing a bit loose. If I can slide my pinkie finger under the bracelet easily, it's perfect.
I like that Red Orient Homie. Very nice.
Always have to wear my bracelets a little loose because my wrist swells quite a bit, so when I’m inside having a dinner my watch flops more than I’d like, but once I get moving my bracelet will almost be too tight sometimes lol, it’s a never ending battle between two micro adjust slots on my clasps
Yeah, it is definitely a struggle if you live somewhere hot/humid, when going from AC > outside, or the reverse. Have to size for the largest your wrist will swell, or experiment with straps you can adjust on the fly
This is why i love rubber straps for everyday wear. Sometimes I feel like metal bracelets can be too “blingy” for more casual outfits & if my wrist swells (which it does a lot like yours), I can easily adjust it on the fly.
That Mako Cherry Dial hits hard far above than its weight class 🔥👍
All of these are mutually exclusive for me 😅
A looser fit that doesn't cut my wrist off, is a fit that slides up and down my arm.
That red dial kamasu on the strapcode jubilee bracelet is beautiful. Just bought one yesterday and I'm super excited for it to come.
Hey man are you still enjoying it im also plannig to buy one but not completely sure about it.
Seiko out here laughing at me with their 2 micro adjust holes... 😢
My Citizen is the same.
It’s always a tricky things for me to get a right fit because I have a very flat wrist so if I leave any room the watch will roll on my wrist but if I tighten it the watch will be too tight in the afternoon because I live in a very hot climate.
I did not know about micro adjustments 😭😭 thanks a bunch! My seiko perfectly now!
The colour on the orient is amazing, i dont see a lot of red dial watches
My faveroute watch colours are red blue and green idk why they just look so good
I live in the Deep South. It’s incredible just how much my wrist size changes throughout the day due to heat, humidity, hydration ect. Gotta be around a 1/4 inch or more difference throughout the day.
I always liked wearing my watches tight, i liked a good tight fit with no play. But just a couple days ago i decided to go a little on the loose side.
I find when it's warm out I prefer slightly looser
I adjust the strap so it's snug then I go one below that, and I can usually fit my index finger between the strap and the skin on my arm. Helps with ventilation, especially when you wear a rubber strap
Good advice 👍 plus loving the Hamilton 👍
before i used to wear my watch too loose but nowdays i wear it perfectly
As long as it's comfortable for you. 👍
I like to fit 2 fingers under the bracelet, when my wrist swells its snug, when im chillin its a nice floppy disk
1-2 finger is the best way to have your watch and it's handy having watch bracelets that have quick adjust (no tools required)
this is actually good advice. but with the micro adjustments you dont need a special tool. (secrets given away) just use a safety pin or blunt needle to push the bar end in on one side and slide it across 1 spot then do the same to the other side. repeat again for 2 holes adjustment and again for 3. i work on watches and at times i do use a safety pin :) and they work in many ways for watch repairs too
Chronometer Check is god-tier! ⌚️
I have a 8.7 inch wrist. Didn’t start wearing watches until after I got into armwrestling training and got to 275 lbs 😔
Good advice here
Thanks for this
Hi, Which watch is that on 38 second please if you dont mind me asking? Love that one
yeah. sometimes we cant do anything about it. I got several that dont have micro adjustments and if i take another link itll be too tight but if I dont take it off its too large.. ugh
When I lived in Barcelona in the winters my wrist was very small, now back home my wrist is thicker and my watch fits much better, I have a small wrist.
Great vid bro. What Reference is that silver dial orient with the leather strap?? Its gorgeous
Thanks bud. It's the Orient Bambino rn-ak0704
I wear my watches as you do, but looser is not wrong if the person like it like that. Especially for a watch with a nice bracelet, loose can give off a cool insouciant vibe.
Looser with a cloth or leather strap is bad though.
I wear it loose because I live in tropocal climate. If it fits properly, not only will my wrist swell, but it also sweats a lot and becomes very uncomfortable.
the xp sound is on point
Orient Kamasu, Orient Bambino and Hamilton Khaki Field. Bro I have all these in my collection too. We have the same taste.
We are watch twins my friend

Where did you get the Jubilee bracelet for the Orient Kamasu?. It looks amazing with jubilee style❤
Amazon!
This is a really helpful video for me since I live in the gulf and love the metal bracelet look. Swoop bracelets won’t be so friendly but how do I look if other brands bracelets have the micro adjustments ?
Usually micro adjustments will exist in a deployment clasp style, bt not always the case. You'll have to look up some reviews on a per-watch-basis to make sure
I struggle with this all the time 😅. I still have really figured out what is the right way. So your say one finger? Or two fingers? And it should fit under the band easily?
Brother please link that jubilee bracelet for the kamasu I have the same exact one and I’d like to put that bracelet on it
I think this guy likes orient
Anybody else experience this weird phenomenon where your watch fits perfectly after a good meal and then gets looser when you get hungry 😂
I have to adjust the rubber band on my Oris Aquis several times a day
I wear my watch before the wrist bone but when I shadowbox (for instance) it starts to loosen up and ends up after the wrist bone
What was that darker faced orient? That thing looks nice
Can we have this same video done by a person with an 8.5 inch wrist?
Here is the more complicated answer: It heavily depends on the watch. That means size, weight, the size of the links for bracelet watches, as well as the available adjustment options on the bracelet like microadjustments. Most of these descriptions of a "properly fitting" watch won't do you much good if your watch doesn't have enough options for customizing fit for different wrist shapes and sizes. Take Casio edifice, for example. you are more likely to find a sweet spot between too tight and too loose because they have 4 microadjustment holes. But for watches that have only 1 microadjustment or no microadjustment at all, that "sweet spot" may not even exist for some, and you would either have to settle for something a little tight or something loose.
what is the name of the first watch you showed?
thanks!
Hamilton Khaki field mechanical 38mm
Whats that 3rd watch your showed?? The grey one?
What is that orient, not the red, but the one with the dark smokey dial??? It's a beaut.
That’s a nice orient! What band is that?
what bracelet is that ?
It can't move but it's on the tighter side. I can't get my finger inbetween but can freely move my hand around
IMO the watch should be able to move a little bit
It shouldn't cut off your circulation, or spin around your wrist.
Anything else is a matter of personal preference/comfort and environment.
^^
my gf got me a watch that's difficult to adjust. So I tried getting a different bracelet for it and found that it is neither a 24mm watch nor a 22mm watch. After I've finally decided to try 3D printing a bracelet for it, I've found that it fits a 23mm bracelet and I can't find a bracelet for this anywhere :/ I also couldn't get the watch to be tight enough with this print no matter how I adjusted the file. So now I'm back to square one: A 23mm watch and unable to find a bracelet that fits it :(
good advice man
Thank you my good friend
Agreed
With my wrist shape, my watch can only be either loose or tight. I've tried removing and link and adding one, and personally, I'd much rather have it loose than skin tight
Wow thx for telling me how to tighten or loosen the metal watch but the problem is that I dont have the tools for doing it 😢
Amazon, strap changing tool. Under $10 or you can buy kits and all that stuff.
I don't own any of it, but I might buy the tool since it costs the same price at the mall to adjust
Does this bracelet come with the oreint kamasu?
I think it's from strap code
No, it's from Strapcode: amzn.to/3seajau
What’s that thing called as on this watch when you move around the color changes from darker to lighter
The dial? Sunburst dial
@@ChronometerCheck thanks
Is your wrist size 6.5 inches?
Hey! Is it normal if watch with metal bracelet leaves small marks on skin?
yes
💯👍.true
Whenever I take off my watch you can see an indent of the back of the watch on my wrist.. I can fit 1-2 fingered comfortably under the band, is that normal?
It might be a tad too tight, I'd try loosen one micro adjustment and see how it feels.
@@ChronometerCheck thank you! I’ll try that today
These are definitely some of the things that I never worry about until my blood flows restricted
Oh man, after a period of trying out watches I gave up. It’s either too loose where it slides off ever so slightly and then completely but if I tighten it, it becomes too uncomfortable.
Some watches aren't as adjustable as others, unfortunately. Also a smaller, or thinner watch, is generally easier to get a proper fit for
I wear it tight and then it become loose by the end of the work day. I cant be the only one this happens to right?
Which watch is the red one
Orient Kamasu
Better too loose than tight
Always!!
We are still talking about watches right?
Opposite for me, I can’t stand a loose watch.
im talll and I like it lose so it drops to my hand. Im too talll for it to be under my cuff I lietrally workout w mine on for years never had an issue.
Man I clicked on this video thinking it was talking about what size is perfect for your wrist 😂
I cant make my watch enough tight to make on my wrist
Seiko does not make this because they think that adding more means worse
0:25
You should wear your watch exactly how you feel comfortable and not let anyone tell you what is right or wrong.
Ulna, not wrist bone.
Why are there so few divers watches with red dials 😍
Red is one of the worst colours for diver’s watches because under water it quickly fades to almost black. The only colours you still can see at 60m are orange and pink. There is an interesting video that shows how colours change in the water with the depth.
However, I own the same red Orient watch, because I like it very much, and I‘m not a diver. 😸
Worst part is when hairs on hand are plucked by metal bracelet 😖🥲
If you can fit 1 or 2 fingers in your bracelet it’s moving around. 2 fingers is ridiculous.
I prefer my natos snug and bracelets loose
got a tudor bb36 on jubilee and i love it but im very annoyed by the fit... as it is now i always have to set the adjustement to max so it fits but if its warm its to tight. if i put another link in its to large even on minimum setting... sucks
Above the wrist is for noobies
Or people who do anything besides sit at a desk.
I have really small wrists
look for 37 mm or smaller. Big watches are becoming out of style these days.
My preference is always a bit loose because I like to do that thing with watches that I would flick the watch into place whenever it isn’t. Idk it just satisfies me.
Love how the younger generation need tutorials on how to wear a watch 😅
sometimes you just want someone elses perspective, who cares how old someone is
That Kamasu looks so freaking sexy!
No matter how I wear it it slides up my arm. Unless it's way too tight.
I don’t wear a watch so there is no issue for me
When standing should it rest past the wristbone that is the question
i used to bite my nails compulsively to the point it hurt to even type with my fingertips from biting too deep and bleeding. try to stop bro, trust me, it's more presentable and more hygienic and you'll feel proud to see some white on your nails :)
I keep my nails close now for guitar playing. biting nails can be a tough habit to break I understand.
Last part made no sense
Wear it how ever you like. Don't listen to anyone who tells you how you should be be wearing your watch.
Wear it however you like it. Nobody can tell you otherwise.
Make a how to use the toilet video!
Biggest issue is the chunky weight of most watches now and the lack of good slim lightweight affordable automatic or quartz watches. Watch engineering is so far behind autos, aviation, and computers. Seiko and other mainstream companies just are not able to make a slim watch and there's something just not right about this. Consumers are dumb when it comes to large suvs. But at least sports cars are available for purchase. Watches just don't offer slim outside Skagen and Bering. Why can Scandinavia do this (or China) but everywhere else can't?
Hamilton field watches you'd be hard pressed to know you are wearing one.
Soy boi wrists.
Mate, there's no right or wrong way to wear a watch. It's totally subjective - to each his own.
No shit. When did people start making videos about obvious information?
Since today my friend
Tight for me. And oversized for my 6½ wrist. I wear watches for myself, not for others. Garmin Fenix 6XPro and G-Shock GMW B5000D 1er.
Im not offensive saying this but for me a watch is a (survival) tool.
The most good looking for me is Orient Bambino but im always glad to see people with much more refined taste!
