this video should be titled - why is iwc, an airport duty-free brand, so expensive? would love to see that video comparing the new and old movements )

#savage 😂 and yeah id love to do a feature about the in house movements vs the work they put into rebuilding 7750s before they went in house - from what I understand IWC was one of the few mainstream brands that was doing proper modifications to their ETAs instead of just dropping them in with a branded rotor and calling it a day 😅

@@ShahLusso I don't know man. I love my UNs. Actually just got my first manufacture movement driven UN with the grand feu dial (!).. Loving it

I had a subby and a Seadweller. Now I have 2 X Aquatimers instead. Just aesthetically nicer imo, and far more legible pieces.
I'm a big fan at preowned prices though.

True, the Aquatimers are supremely legible - and carry so much of that insane level of over-engineering from IWC :D

Interesting I’m having a challenge to decide between the IWC pilot or Breitling Navitimer

It's a tough choice, both are iconic pilot watches and both have modern iterations with uprated movments or neo-vintage models with 7750s for crazy good value. I guess the big deciding factor is the information overload from all the scales on the Navitimer, or the cleaner look of the Pilot's Watch, but both are great watches with tons of fun dial, bracelet and movement variaitons (though when it comes to bracelets the IWC wins hands down)

@ShahLusso think you should do a video a comparison for both watches , they both are 41mm, both are chronograph, this would be exciting to watch

I'd love to do that comparison, I just need to get my hands on the right Navitimer for it - the few times I've had a chance its usually one of the ETA 2892 based ones, personally I'd rather feature one of the 7750 or B01 based Navitimers so it's a proper comparison to the older Pilots or the current ones respectively, but it's definitely a review that's on my to-do list once I get a chance to shoot the Navitimer.
