I bought the Fusion Officer's model. I won't lie, I was looking for a Florida company that made 1911s when I found them. Heard about the owner's former connection to Dan Wesson and figured I'd try them out. It's not an under 800 dollar gun. It's a 1200 gun you can get for under 800 dollars. I'm extremely happy to hear about your new series of shotguns. I just have to decide which one I want now.
I owned one of your first Dan Wesson PM10b Majors (serial #53) I rememeber talking to you then. I then saw years later you started Fusion. Tomorrow I am aquirring a Fusion React 10mm. I have no doubt it will be every bit as good as I anticipate.
@@fusionfirearms You too! You built a hell of a shooter here. This gun is fantastic. Black Oxide finish is flawless. Sights are dead on and the trigger is phenomenal at 3.5#. Back when I had the PM10b, the future of 10mm was uncertain, luckily this isn't the case anymore. If you ever build a 10mm Riptide, I'll buy it.
~Heyt Bob, how come I've never seen you discuss a matt or Polished Stainless Steel 1911 Pistols? Don't you make them? ~I've been looking, reading, watching videos and studying about the top end makers of 1911 Pistols and I've finally made my decision. ~Bob, my next 1911 shall be ordered from you IF I CAN GET ONE in the Frame, Slide and Barrel in Mat Stainless Steel. I see I can order one colored that way, but I want the real thing. ~Now comes the hard part. Of all the options Bob offers, which options do I need and which ones do I want. ~I must call you soon to discuss my problems of what I want vs need.
Big fan of the 10mm and highly interested in your commander size 1911 in this caliber. This appears to be a great carry weapon, being a LONG TIME 1911 advocate, my favorite pistol design.
Thank you for joining in. The 10mm is a great round, it does have a good bark to it when shooting. I love the round and I do use one for hunting. For carry, I am still a traditional 45 acp person. We sell a lot of the 10mm commanders for folks fishing in bear territory for basic protection. Our Combat model is the most popular with the hikers, backpackers and people fishing in areas with dangerous game.
@@fusionfirearms I also have decided on Fusion 10mm to be my woods gun. I originally wanted another big revolver but decided to get the best of both worlds: a 1911 that acts like a .357 Magnum. Hell yeah!
there is a lot to barrel fitting and it depends on the application of the pistol and budget of the customer on barrel choices and fitting. But yes, the slide stop pin should have a slight rub on the barrel feet. Not overly tight, or you will generally break the slide stop pin from it binding. There are several fitting pionts for frame/barrel & slide lock-up and depending on the pistol you have you will have to work with the tolerances in your pistol. But if most basic lock-up points close and 1 or 2 are on, you will achieve constant lock-up.

Does the trigger wiggle or is it stiff in the frame ?
Stiff, this is all in how you want to fit a trigger.
i want to know what your barrel leg fit is like and why there are lots of complaints of faulty guns.
