Me watching this from Italy for no reason at all. But I still got to admit americans don't give a shit about healthy food they just like to enjoy their life and I kinda like it.
As a Native Idahoan, I can attest to the fact that Boise Fry Company is AMAZING!!! They have a buffalo burger that is divine and I prefer the purple, yam, or sweet potato with Fry sauce and blueberry ketchup.
I would have chosen Five Guys, but Biscuitville was started in Danville. They only have them in Danville and Lynchburg in Virginia so I don't know why they chose it.
As a native Chicagoan I can safely say Portillos is pretty great. The Italian beef and their crinkle fries are both so so good! However as someone who visits Missouri yearly you can never say no to Lions Choice. It puts Arbys to shame with real roast beef, gotta get it with Swiss and au jus with a fountain IBC root beer! It doesn’t get much better than that!
It's the only place I have eaten where I have to ask for light ice in my drink. They always cramped it full of ice and little soft drink! Saving a bit if syrup and upsetting a customer isn't the way to do business.
I’m a Cali boy so INO is THE place. But I live in Seattle so a Dick’s Deluxe is a alternative. Make the drive to Salem for INO sometimes but always get dinner at Burgerville, USA. All three of the West Coast’s best are exactly the ones I thought they’d be. Pickle Barrel in Montana is another place. Their “small” sandwich is bigger than a Subway foot long and their large has about 2lbs of meat on it. A large there usually feeds myself, my wife, and our 2 young kids. Surprised Utah’s wasn’t Arctic Circle.
Outside of america? Haven't seen a decent dunkin in like 10 years in US. Never have doughnuts, food isn't good drinks are bad. Prices are okay until you remember it's bad quality.
Another fun facts, Burgerville is the first fast food chain in the US to be unionized, just a couple years back. Also the spicy bean burger is amazing.

Went to North Carolina for my cousin's wedding back in October 2018. Mentioned that we were going to go to Bojangles the following day. Culver’s is pretty popular in Kansas too. It’s an entry level job here. 😂 I have at least 15 friends who started out at Culver’s since they hire starting at 14.
Overpriced trash. Burgers the same price as 5 guys at half the flavor and the cheese curds are basic while also overpriced. Flavorless gods let my people go!

@@MrLeemurman Maybe in your town, but I don't know anyone who would choose DQ over Culvers, Chick-fil-a, or Cane's. All three are always pretty busy, even my local McDonald's is more busy than DQ.

Portillos is tru for Chicago. The only false claim is the cake shake being the “main staple”. I legit never hear anyone talk about the shake, but the cake itself is the what people love. I even had it as my birthday cake this year
Whataburger is supremely underrated it’s mostly in the south but they give you big burgers for a good price and the “all time favorites” list is packed with so many powerhouse sandwiches
Culver's is great seasonal walleye. Daily custard special mixers and monthly special sundaes! I only eat veggies and fish so it's great. Cheese curds are hard to pass up to.
Also saw chicken, macaroni, sandwiches, breakfast, Mexican, and Hawaiian food on this list. =) Additionally, Americans enjoy tons of ethnic food, but it doesn't qualify as fast food which is what this video is about.
Portillos is an Illinois favorite! But you have to get the hot combo dipped with cheese fries. That's a hefty Italian beef drenched in gravy, a hidden polish sausage, and topped with spicy giardiniera. *chef's kiss*
As a Louisiana man, I can't believe Raising Canes was picked over Popeye's. Popeye's has been around much longer and the spicy flavor really tickles your taste buds. I really believe it reflects what Louisiana is all about. It's all good though, still a good video that I enjoyed watching. Thanks for posting.
I really don't understand the Cane's thing . I live right by one and have had it several times now and have been very disappointed each and every time . The tenders are ok , but kinds dry . The fries remind me of public school fries , and the texas toast is boring white bread . People love the cause apparently , but it seems that sauce is just necessary to cover up everything else not being very good . What am I missing ?
From eastern PA; I still prefer Sheetz over Wawa any day. And forget the wannabe Rutter’s. I went to college out toward Pittsburgh, which was somehow a Sheetz’s dead zone.😭
i live just a little south of pittsburgh in washington and i didn’t even know there were any wawa’s in pa but sheetz late at night is definitely the way to go
As a Tennesseean, i can confirm Krystal is way too popular than it deserves to be. Honestly a frozen White Castle burger that you buy at the store and microwave at home tastes better than a freshly prepared Krystal.
(Middle) Tennessean here and I’ve only been to a “Krystal’s” once in my life. I kind of feel like this was a cherry-picked list if nothing more. Sonic and Wendy’s felt much more popular than anything and I’m not a big fan.
Missouri here: I’ve never heard of Lion’s Choice... I sat here and tried to think of what you guys would name for our favorite. Panera began in St. Louis as the “St. Louis Bread Company”, so I figured you’d go there. I don’t really know what I would name our favorite restaurant, but it’s probably Chic-Fil-A.
Im from Long Island. The closest one is near the Smith Haven Mall. Its really not that good in my opinion and Made my brother puke when he had it a separate occasion(he got it with just a patty and tomato slice so I dont think it was bad mayo or anything) I go to Five Guys over Shake Shack any day but im always down to give a place another try
No Rally's love? Checkers? Hardee's? Carls Jr.? I'm still having a hard time wondering why we got stuck with Biscuitville. Most of VA has never seen them because they mostly closed up shop in the 90s.
I live in Calif. and In-N-Out Burger is such an iconic institution. I go at least twice a month. There's nothing like a Double-Double burger with grilled onions.
Can't wait to road trip through California some time in the future and pick up some classic diner-style burgers. I recall when visiting some years ago a girlfriend mentioned all the "secret menu" items and additions. Good fun. I also recall Del Taco being a fast food place that I believe was mostly out west in California? I loved that place by comparison to Taco Bell; great quality for fast food and would love to see nationwide competition between them and Taco John's (also quite good).
AS AN IDAHOAN. i can confirm. the Boise fry company has AMAZING food, the french frys are amazing and doesn’t taste the same as ANY OTHER PLACE! RECOMMENDED!!
Born due to a Portillo's spicy beef, then raised on Chicago dogs. College was filled with In N Out and LA Street dogs. Now getting ready to move to Steak and Shake to raise the kids. Once a Midwest girl, always a Midwest girl!
L&L is good for hungry guys focusing on quantity over quality. A plate there could just fill you up the whole day. I do not expect to live for so long, then rather spend more money at Zippy’s. However, I just cannot enjoy a hot saimin in our weather. Zippy’s for me, then, is for a tasty personal size plate lunch. Just a perfect size and taste.
@@cbunming will i was being kinda bias when i said i would pick L&L over zippys. I use to live on the big island for 12 years and am pretty sure there was only one zippys that was in hilo. so my pick was just based off of what was more available
@@timbeeharris2644 You are on the point with that! I almost forgot that Zippy’s are not on neighbor islands, except for the one you mentioned in Hilo. I admit that I am also biased as I travel to Asia more often than to our own islands.
Portillos is known for its Chicago style hot dog Italian beef: am I a joke to you? Italian beef soaked, with hot peppers and a cake shake is the way to go
The best thing about American Cuisine is the huge portion size, unlike here in Asia where restaurants serve small portions as if they're gonna run out of food the next day.
@@NASAFanboy See, it all depends on individual's preferences. Maybe some would like one heavy meal for lunch and a small portion for dinner or vice versa.
The seasonal items from Boogerville are absolutely to die for, especially the end of summer seasonal items: Marionberry Milkshakes and Walla Walla Onion Rings - holy s**t, I can't ever get enough of those tasty bastards! Just wish Burgerville isn't so damn spendy!
Walla Walla rings are freaking amazing. The Ville awesome. Live in Seattle but always stop in Centeralia at the first Burgerville between PDX and SEA when going to Portland or Astoria.

Whataburger is supremely underrated it’s mostly in the south but they give you big burgers for a good price and the “all time favorites” list is packed with so many powerhouse sandwiches
love it.... but she don't know how to pronounce correctly.
"underrated" lol it's generic fast food
Culver’s, Freddy’s, Raising Canes, Chik Fil A, and Taco Johns are all boss tier fast food.
Never had Taco John's but you're on the money with the other selections.
Culver's is great seasonal walleye. Daily custard special mixers and monthly special sundaes! I only eat veggies and fish so it's great. Cheese curds are hard to pass up to.
Culver’s is so good but Kopps is even better
So
Things that Americans eat:
Hamburger
Hot dogs
Fries
Shakes
sodas
Chicken
Heart attacks
Pollo Tropical exists though, so does slim chickens, and chick fil a. Also this is fast food.
Also saw chicken, macaroni, sandwiches, breakfast, Mexican, and Hawaiian food on this list. =)
Additionally, Americans enjoy tons of ethnic food, but it doesn't qualify as fast food which is what this video is about.
Portillos is an Illinois favorite! But you have to get the hot combo dipped with cheese fries. That's a hefty Italian beef drenched in gravy, a hidden polish sausage, and topped with spicy giardiniera. *chef's kiss*
Exactly!
Thanks for sharing, we look forward to the continuation of the great videos.
You've provoked a divide in Pennsylvania choosing Wawa over Sheetz
lmaoooo yoooo frrrr tho
Rutter's shits on both of them, much better quality.

I do love Popeyes, but Canes is consistently excellent. When Popeyes is great it’s great. When Popeyes is bad it’s really terrible.
They made the right call with Canes. It's a cut above. We need more of them here in SC.
Right 🤣🤣
I really don't understand the Cane's thing .
"PA = WAWA" Me a Pittsburghian, "where tf were they, all we had was sheetz," but the most popular sit-down food place in PA is Eatin' park
Go to east pa
From eastern PA; I still prefer Sheetz over Wawa any day. And forget the wannabe Rutter’s.
I went to college out toward Pittsburgh, which was somehow a Sheetz’s dead zone.😭
Sheets is way better. (Central PA)
Might be unpopular here, but in NJ and Philly- Wawa is queen
i live just a little south of pittsburgh in washington and i didn’t even know there were any wawa’s in pa but sheetz late at night is definitely the way to go

Portillos is a classic, best food I’ve had
Missouri here: I’ve never heard of Lion’s Choice... I sat here and tried to think of what you guys would name for our favorite. Panera began in St. Louis as the “St. Louis Bread Company”, so I figured you’d go there. I don’t really know what I would name our favorite restaurant, but it’s probably Chic-Fil-A.
I live in St. Louis. Lions choice is so good it's way better than chick fil a or panera, it's definitely the best local chain in missouri

I’ve lived in California’s for all my life, i loved in n out. AND I JUST LOVE SHAKE SHACK (it made its way to CA)

I'm still having a hard time wondering why we got stuck with Biscuitville. Most of VA has never seen them because they mostly closed up shop in the 90s.
I live in Calif. and In-N-Out Burger is such an iconic institution. I go at least twice a month. There's nothing like a Double-Double burger with grilled onions.
with chili peppers!
Agreed
I prefer my Double-Double as Animal Style!

Phenomenal job 🏆
Zippys was a great pick for Hawaii. They have the best saimin.
i honestly think l&l should've been picked

The best thing about American Cuisine is the huge portion size, unlike here in Asia where restaurants serve small portions as if they're gonna run out of food the next day.
I agree, but that’s why so many people are morbidly obese here, unlike Asia.
@@NASAFanboy See, it all depends on individual's preferences. Maybe some would like one heavy meal for lunch and a small portion for dinner or vice versa.
