this song is way harder to play on acoustic than electric, i noticed he omits a lot of the slides and hammer-ons with actual note plucking, and at the speed he is playing that is amazing

The emotions this song makes me feel are like nothing before. It's a mix of knowing true love, extreme loss(specifically the happiness you once felt and can't find again), and pain from any sort of abuse. All this leads together to form a soothing inner peace.
Same, for me it's the feeling of youth and moving on from the comfort of childhood and adolescence into "the real world." Just very powerful, bittersweet, reminds me of nostalgic times as a kid and also saudade. Longing for memories that never were
I know everyone will say this is the easiest song in the world to play..but I had a hard time learning it also and Im not the best or worst guitar player in the world, average, started playing when I was about thirteen and I'm forty now...not sure if it was the tempo or what but I found it challenging so your not alone if you had a hard time learning it also..

It's an easy to play song, until you add the fills and the singing and the tempo and all the other stuff. The fact he can sing and play it so well at such a speed with all the intricacies on an acoustic guitar with such energy is like dam
