Hello, thanks for the informative video. I have the Sony A7 sii and everytime I shoot in 4K, the camera's screen goes black when I press the REC button, but works fine when I shoot in HD. Any ideas how to fix it?
Hey Phillip. I hope you are doing well. I am trying to figure out smth with the RS2 combo. As soon as I switch the gimbal on, it starts drifting and circling. And the error with the joystick in the app. I need your help. What should I do? Appreciated.
Hi! Really? That is odd, never had that problem. I'd connect it to the computer, use the desktop app, reinstall the software and do a factory reset on it. Mine has always worked perfectly, the only drifting I get is on my Zhiyun 😂
Hey Phillip, thank you - that's really helpful. Can you tell me though - am I missing something... When using Sony 'multi', you have no control over focus. You can't even prompt the camera to focus with a half-press? Raveneye also does not change the focus area? Which means you have to set the camera to AFC and wide and hope for the best? is there a better way?
Hi Phillip, I was wondering if you could help me. When I press record on the Dji rs2 it doesnt record on my camera anymore. It used to. Do you have any suggestions about what it could be or what to do? Thank you.
I'm happy I could help! I do my best nowadays to get to the point, I know watching others that if they start blabbering on about what they did the other day I just fast forward 😂
@@PhillipSkraba So check this out! Its not a wireless solution but I couldn't even get a feed at all from my EOS R5 to obs when using the Raven Eye. I found out if you get this HDMI splitter (I linked it below) you can plug the camera into the middle port, then the Raven Eye and OBS input into the other two. I think we'll have to wait for DJI to release some update for wireless. My DJI drone has support for custom rtmp streaming to OBS so I don't see why they couldn't with this. We can only hope! I KNEW I wasn't going crazy! The USB C cable setup DOES have an issue with displaying to the phone! I hope DJI fixes this ASAP along with allowing usage of both the MULTI Cable and the USB C cable at the same time so we can get ALL functionality. Thank you so much for making this, I hope you sent it to DJI so they can get to fixing!
I'm not sure DJI have seen this video, but I'm sure they know this is a problem. If you look at the compatibility chart, you'll see that all Sony cameras only use the Sony multi cable, which is funny, because with the Ronin S it was the usb-c that worked better. I'm sure they'll keep updating, it's an excellent gimbal with so many fantastic features I'm certain we'll get more options in the future.
Now, what they need is to allow a clean HDMI out of the Ronin app. I've installed Ronin app on my DJI Smart Controller and I can see the RavenEye appear on the Smart Controller and the Smart Controller has a HDMI output. Now... if Ronin app gave a clean HDMI out (no overlays) then I could connect the smart controller HDMI to my ATEM and have a wireless camera feed. Most obvious use would be for gimbal work on a live stream. Might be a little more latency but could be very usable.
@@PhillipSkraba Yeah, I just tried it. Bit of a clunky way to add apps on the Smart C (APK downloads) but it works and the controller sees the RavenEye's WIFI no problem.
Hi Phillip. Thx for the great tutorial! I have the Sony FX3, which is not a big difference in terms of setting it up. It all works, but the image transmission to the iPhone lags. What is a really pity, since then the gimbal also struggels to use the active track smooth. Have you experienced this before?
I have never had that problem, no. The only two things that come to mind are leaving bluetooth on, I think for it to be super smooth it should be turned off, and the other thing is the phone itself, is it a new phone, have you got 99% memory taken up by photos? The FX3 and the gimbal itself should be fine, so I'd try a different phone just to cross that off the list.
Gear Acquisition Syndrome. I like filling my shelves with gear till they buckle under the pressure. Then I buy more shelves. The Sony a7siii and I think the a1 both now have that feature, but to tell you the truth I’ve learnt to live without it.
Thanks! Can this film 4K to the camera while showing the live view on the phone? And does it leave the camera display on instead of switching to black?
Hi Phillip, thank you for the great channel and the provided information. Is there any photo illustration for the cable and where it should be connected for Sony A7iii?
Hi phillip, Thanks for your video it really helped me. but im still having issues with my sony a7iii. i did all the steps to coneck the reven eye with the app. i can control everything in the app iso record but i can't see the image in the phone. its just black and not displaying the image from the camara. any suggestion to fix this on the sony a7iii. thank you
There are two problems I know of that can cause this to happen. The first is proxies, you would have to turn them off. The second is the cable, it has to be the Sony Multi cable, with the usb-c cable you'll get a black screen.
Hi I am sony alpha 6400 user. Can you please tell why Aperature, Shutterspeed and ISO is coming N/A in the app connected via Raveneye and how to fix it.
Do you have to use RSS to use Raveneye? I have a camera that doesn't have the "multi" output, but the Raveneye is connected to the gimbal and the HDMI out from the camera is connected to the Raveneye. I can't get this thing to work for the life of me.
Is there a way to transmit the signal to a TV or monitor? Zhiyun has a receiver module that you can plug into anything, do you know if we have the same option with DJI?

Hey Phillip ... my RS2 is just up and running but apparently you can use the small screen on the RS2 to track ... so you don’t need to use the phone to that. But in my brief look I could not draw point on the gimbal’s screen - any idea? Thanks for video!!! Great work.
Hi Roz, yes, the ability to draw and track on the screen was added a couple of days ago via an update using the app. So you need to connect the RS 2 to the app and update it. The update should automatically show up on the top of the app after a couple of minutes.
I have a question? When I do all of this, I noticed that my camera isn’t autofocusing, am I missing something? Like the display on my Sony A7lll is blacked out?
Hello Phillip! I would like you to answer me a huge question please! As I see on your video you have the RS2 Pro Combo that includes the Dji Focus Motor... Did you try to use this focus motor to control the zoom ring of the Sony 24-70 f/2.8 GM lens? I ask you this question because as we all know, this lens have a bit stiff zoom ring and needs more power to rotate, in relation to the zoom rings of other lenses.
I haven't no, anytime I try this with any of the electronic focus motors they really struggle, mind you this one seems super strong. The only focus motor that has no problem is the one Edelkrone makes, that's just a monster. I'll give it a go though, see if it can handle that ring, if it can, I'll include it in my video as I'm working on one for the focus motor.
Great video! Quick question - with a autofocus lens, can you simply tap anywhere in the app and will the camera autofocus to the spot you tapped to? Making it simple to autofocus on whatever area you touch?
I haven’t been able to get that to work, so I’m assuming everyones silence is a no, though it says in the compatibility sheet that “trigger focus” is a feature. Just noticed that.
Yes, I think it does. It's not something I've ever checked to be honest, it's such a smooth ride I've never thought about it. The Raven Eye is excellent, I love using it.
Does the focus wheel work when you have the Raven Eye set up? I always hated that I couldn’t use the focus wheel on my RSC with an external monitor. Just trying to figure the optimal options.
Hi Phil, At 9:16 you show the various LUTs you have available on mobile device. One of those LUTs is the Fujifilm F-Log.cube. Does this mean that you also have a FujiFilm camera? If yes, what camera do you have and have you tested it with RS 2 and RavenEye?
@@PhillipSkraba Hi Phil, Thanks for the quick reply. I took the plunge, fingers crossed, that an RS 2 would work with a FujiFilm X-T3. I can report that it all works as expected. The only issue that I ran into was an error message from the X-T3 stating that 4k was incompatible with the connected device--RavenEye. But this was resolved when I changed the HDMI output from the X-T3 to the RavenEye to 1080P. Don Barar
@@donaldbarar6877 That's great Don! The RS 2 is an excellent choice of gimbal, good to know it's working well for you. I can't wait for the 3D focus module, that will really turn it into a beast!
Hi Phillip, thanks for the great vid, Ive set up my Raven Eye exactly the way you have with my A7iii as well, the problem is that when its all ON and functioning the feed to the phone is good as well as the camera screen until i press RECORD is when I lose feed from camera screen, is this normal for the A7iii or what? if not what is it and do you know if theres a firmware update to fix it?
Hi! Yes, that's completely normal for the A7III. Anytime you connect a hdmi out and press REC the monitor will go black, so what I do is attach the phone on the RS 2 with the phone holder, it's a good way to keep an eye on your footage.
Do you made this with a sport camera? Why you dont make close shots to the conectors, my camera is a canon i triyng to figure how to do this but no sense to don't making shots on ports connectors, wha a tutorial
I thought it was pretty clear what I was saying, but yes, sure, you're right, I could have done close ups. It's quite simple though, on the RS2 lower port is RavenEye power supply, top port is camera control, and then from the RavenEye connect the hdmi cable to the camera. It should work the same way with the Canon. Take a look a the compatibility list in the description and it'll tell you what control cable and hdmi cable to use for your specific camera.
Great video Phillip, I have the new Sony a7c and there is no more Sony multi plug !, just a USBC and has you said, usbc to usbc gives me a blank screen 🤬 Have you found a solution? Thanks again from Montréal, Québec

Hi, thank you for your review ! But it still not working in my side, everything is connected but I'm not able to see any image. Did you face this problem ?
Check if you have CTRL for HDMI turned on and make sure you're using the Sony Multi cable. It should work if you have CTRL with smartphone turned OFF and USB turned to remote. Let me know if you get it working.
Phillip, I used the raveneye to connect my Canon 5d iv w/a 24-70 f2.8 ii. You can adjust the ISO, aperture and shutter-speed using the app. Double tap the screen and the settings will show up.
Doing this process that I've shown here you have also connected it to the small gimbal screen, just pull down on the screen and there should be the live feed. If there is a person on the screen, tap on them and active track will turn green.
Im using the A7c which is very similar. My issue is that raveneye and camera control both work until I hit the record button. Then the phone goes black, so I lose my active track. 😔
Yes, I've heard this. Try hdmi auto in the camera settings, proxy needs to be off, and I think bluetooth off on the phone. I'm still not sure what causes this though, worth a try.
Appreciate the video, I am still having issues. In usb connection I only get the option for mass storage, and mtb? Hopefully updates would be coming soon.

Sorry, I edited because I wanted to make clear, once you plug the hdmi and hit record the camera screen will always go black, and I wonder if that is a A7iii issue.
Hi, sorry for the late reply, I totally understand, the A7III doesn't like being connected to a hdmi port and recording at the same time, it's got quite a few issues when it comes to things like that, just like the usb-c connection, the screen goes blank I'm afraid.
@@gzils Hi guys, so yes, just tested it as I felt I was going mad, the Sony screen goes black on the A7III and A7RIII, tested both of them. So just like when you connect it to a monitor, the screen will go black when you press record and face detection will also stop working. I guess that's why they add the phone holder to the Pro Combo kit so you can monitor the feed on the phone, but then what is the focus puller looking at if you need such an option...
Hi! I'm using the 8Sinn cage, it's a hottie 🔥 Sure, set your lens to AF, change the function on the RS2 to focus pull and you're away. I'll be dropping a video on this subject very soon.
You're welcome! I'm afraid I haven't tried that, so I can't answer that, I'm actually diving deeper into my RS2 right now, 3D focus, car mounts, etc, so I'll look into that.
I purchased the RSC 2 pro kit last week. I hunted thru all the cables and it seems there's one missing to complete a Raveneye setup using the z7. I need a USB C to USB C, a longer one. The short one with the angled connection is already used to get to power to the Raveneye. Have other z7/z6 users encountered this?
Thanks. This is a good video for me as I am considering buying a DJI RSC2 and I have an Sony A7iii. The DJI website doesn't list Sony A7iii in the list of compatible cameras. So, is this a hack? If it works, why DJI doesn't think its compatible? Also, are you able to use Active track without issues with this combination? And any features that'll not be available for the A7iii? Lastly, the cables that you mentioned, do they come along with the combo pack or will need to be bought separately?
It should work, I use this with my A7III with no problems at all, the RSC 2 should work too. It should be listed as a compatible camera - Sony ILCE-7M3. Everything you need comes with the combo pack, sure.
Sure, you have the custom mode where you can choose which motors to lock. You can set that to custom mode and you'll have the pan locked, you can lock any motors you wish to keep it straight.
Hi Phillip, great video! Followed all the steps you mentioned, yet I'm still having issues with the raveneye: when I connect the raveneye to the app, it disconnects the gimbal and I can't use the force control, joystick or tracking. The app tells me that it will disconnect the gimbal when connecting to the raveneye. I'm using the Sony A7III (with the settings that you've mentioned in the video), all the correct cables are connected properly and I am getting a video transmission on the app. Does anyone know how ti fix this?
New subscriber your video was helpful, my question is about the focus motor that comes with the raveneye. I cannot set the hard stops for my lens and it pulls the lens physically up when it reaches the end of the range for the lens. Is there a calibration option to set the hard stops that I am missing?
Hi Joe. So, I have the same problem, and I wanted to do a video on how to setup your follow focus, but not being able to calibrate the front wheel is a pain as like you said it just pulls the lens physically and tries to destroy my camera. Hopefully they'll update this, it's super annoying. With the focus wheel, so that silly contraption that was on the Ronin S, you CAN calibrate a mechanical lens with hard stops, and not only that, you can set A and B stops! With the front wheel this is what DJI write - "The motor does not require calibrating when the front dial is used to control the focus motor." So that's odd, hopefully something we'll see fixed when the 3D focus is finally on sale. If you get to the bottom of this, let me know, if not, I'll drop a video as soon as I get this working. I really appreciate the sub!

Hi Tal! So you have the cables in the right places, I like I showed in this video, right? Camera control is over rated haha, ignore it till they get it working correctly. So, you connect to RavenEye and you have no image? Have you set your hdmi out to auto on the BM?

Hi!
Same question
Hi Phillip, I was wondering if you could help me. When I press record on the Dji rs2 it doesnt record on my camera anymore. It used to. Do you have any suggestions about what it could be or what to do? Thank you.
Did you swap cables by any chance?
I updated the firmware on my camera and it started working. Thanks for getting back to me
Is this with setup charging the Camera?
This is just about connecting the RavenEye. I’ll be dropping more videos on the RS 2 soon 🔥
I was breaking my head try to figure this out , you were super simple with your demonstation and down to the point.
I'm happy I could help! I do my best nowadays to get to the point, I know watching others that if they start blabbering on about what they did the other day I just fast forward 😂
Any ideas on how to get Raven Eye feed to OBS as a video capture device?
I've actually been looking into that and no options at the moment.
Link to splitter www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07X23C5NJ/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_5?smid=A2JRAC0MU80W31&psc=1
That sounds like a pretty cool workaround! I had no idea the smart controller could connect to it! I’ll have to try that out.
@@PhillipSkraba Yeah, I just tried it. Bit of a clunky way to add apps on the Smart C (APK downloads) but it works and the controller sees the RavenEye's WIFI no problem.
That is really cool, will surely try that out!
With Raveneye and Sony a7iii can we see camera screen as well as smartphone together when press record ?
I'm afraid not, that's the a7iii though. You connect a HDMI to it and you'll see everything until you press REC, then it'll go black.
@@PhillipSkraba yes thats why I just bought rs2 and not combo
I bought the Combo as I have G.A.S. 😂
@@PhillipSkraba I google it could not find G.A.S :) do you recommend any other camera which allow both monitor and camera screen when press record ?
Gear Acquisition Syndrome. I like filling my shelves with gear till they buckle under the pressure. Then I buy more shelves. The Sony a7siii and I think the a1 both now have that feature, but to tell you the truth I’ve learnt to live without it.
Thanks! Can this film 4K to the camera while showing the live view on the phone? And does it leave the camera display on instead of switching to black?
Sure it can. On the A7III it'll go black on the camera screen I'm afraid.
Hi Phillip, thank you for the great channel and the provided information. Is there any photo illustration for the cable and where it should be connected for Sony A7iii?

There are two problems I know of that can cause this to happen. The first is proxies, you would have to turn them off. The second is the cable, it has to be the Sony Multi cable, with the usb-c cable you'll get a black screen.
Hi I am sony alpha 6400 user. Can you please tell why Aperature, Shutterspeed and ISO is coming N/A in the app connected via Raveneye and how to fix it.
Odd question ... but can you use the raveneye without the gimble ? I.e just to have your phone as a makeshift external monitor in a pinch.
I'm afraid as of this moment, no. Maybe in a future update.
I’ve tried looping it, I’m afraid it doesn’t work on any of my loop transmitter options. Phone mirroring maybe??
Every so often I'll set up the Ronin s with Raven and I and I cannot get the LCD to work when I'm using the raveneye

@Phillip I will give that a try ... really appreciate!
I have a question? When I do all of this, I noticed that my camera isn’t autofocusing, am I missing something? Like the display on my Sony A7lll is blacked out?
The camera should auto focus, but yes, the screen will go black on the a7III when connected to a hdmi device I'm afraid.
@@PhillipSkraba Thanks mate ;)
how is the delay on it? and would the RSC work the same? Thanks
I feel next to none, I think the RSC is pretty similar.
@@PhillipSkraba thanks for that

Great video! Quick question - with a autofocus lens, can you simply tap anywhere in the app and will the camera autofocus to the spot you tapped to? Making it simple to autofocus on whatever area you touch?
Wondering this as well!!
Can anyone answer this??
I haven’t been able to get that to work, so I’m assuming everyones silence is a no, though it says in the compatibility sheet that “trigger focus” is a feature. Just noticed that.

Hey, sorry, me again, does the IBIS work when connected to the raveneye?? Im on the fence of buying the raven eye or a monitor.
Yes, I think it does. It's not something I've ever checked to be honest, it's such a smooth ride I've never thought about it. The Raven Eye is excellent, I love using it.
@@PhillipSkraba Ohh ok haha, thanks for the answer!
Same issue with the rs3 on usb c to usb. C, thank you

Yes, it's the same problem. It's all down to Sony I'm afraid, DJI has done a fine job.
Does the focus wheel work when you have the Raven Eye set up? I always hated that I couldn’t use the focus wheel on my RSC with an external monitor. Just trying to figure the optimal options.
Sure! The RS 2 is a completely different monster! Have you tried 3D focus yet?? That is incredible, and so fast ⚡️
Hi Donald, those are actually built into the app. I'm afraid I'm Sony all the way when it comes to my mirrorless.
@@PhillipSkraba Hi Phil, Thanks for the quick reply. I took the plunge, fingers crossed, that an RS 2 would work with a FujiFilm X-T3. I can report that it all works as expected.

@@levyherczeg2423 I'll try to have a look today or tomorrow. Loop out is a 2nd hdmi connection, so you input the signal from your camera into the monitor and via the 2nd connection loop out the signal to another monitor or wireless device such as the RavenEye. I'll have to check it that works though.
Cool ... keep me up to date ! Habe a nice day
@@levyherczeg2423 Right, so in my studio right now, been playing around with the loop out, nope, doesn't work, so I'm guessing it won't work on any loop out, not sure what that other video was about but I can't find it anymore. If you try to loop out it turns the screen black on the iPhone, just like it does when I connect the usb-c to usb-c cable instead of the Sony Multi. So, the short answer is no, won't work with an external monitor.
THANK YOUUUUU I FINALLY CAN USE IT PROPERLY
I'm glad I could help!
All is ok but video recording for phone memory.. please how is it solved
Where can i get this sony muticable?
It should in theory be in the box, but if not you'll be able to get it off the official website.
@@PhillipSkraba I am trying to find this cable on internet all day long, - nothing!!!
@ Right here - store.dji.com/pl/product/r-multi-camera-control-cable-sony
@@PhillipSkraba thanks !!!
@ Anytime!
I find your channel to be excellent. You get to the point and explain things clearly. Thank you!!!
Thank You Dan! I do my best to get to the point and talk less about my morning coffee, it's a stuggle sometimes as it's nice to have someone to talk to 😂 Thanks for the support, it means a lot to me!
when i connect C camera to C gimbal it is not charging the camera through gimbal! any solution? thank you
I believe you have to plug in the multi cable for that feature to work.
@@PhillipSkraba multi is full while I’m connecting it to gimbal-WiFi transmitter!
@@mrz1342 and it doesn't charge? Same setup as I have? There is an option in the Sony menu to turn charging on and off, isn't there? I don't have my camera with me, but I'm sure I remember seeing that.
@@PhillipSkraba I will try to find it in menu. Also still I couldn’t turn on pc connection because it says it’s not available!
@@mrz1342 That's odd. Yes, you have to choose PC remote, do it when not connected to anything.
Great video, it helps me, thanks
You're welcome!
Awesome video, thanks!
You're welcome! Lots more coming on the RS 2.
Hi, I don't see Raven eye on my wifi on mobile. What can be the problem?
Did you connect all the cables exactly like I have them connected here and turn off all the options I showed on the camera in this video?
It's working on tablet but there is no Raven eye wifi on mobile.
@@topvirtualtourscom That is odd, have you checked the compatibility chart on the DJI website for your mobile?
@@PhillipSkraba I already used the phone with other camera and it was working so it must be the phone problem. Now trying to find how to fix the wifi problem on mobile. Thanks again for such a quick answer.
That is odd, let me know when you get to the bottom of it!
How To Set Up DJI RAVENEYE on the RS2 for the Sony A7C ? pls tell me , ths idol
It should be pretty similar, all Sony cameras use the same cable, you can check in the description I have a link to the compatibility list, it will define what you need.
@@PhillipSkraba Thanks idol , i see list but not have a7c , so i want to ask u if u had checked
@@PLGBSS No, I'm afraid not, I don't own it, though would love it in my kit!
Do you know how to keep using the camera's monitor when recording. Everytime i press REC, it blacked out @@
Yes, I'm afraid that is a problem with the Sony A7 series, it drops the preview when you connect a hdmi cable and press REC.
@@PhillipSkraba I think they only do that when shooting 4K.
Yes, that’s correct, 4k and face detection get screwed when connected via hdmi.
@@PhillipSkraba if none of this is available, what's the point of raven eye? I have everything connected but I can't change iso, aperture, record button, etc. So what is the point?
Amazing!! How many devices can i connect?
It looks like it only takes one, which is a shame. However, you can most probably attach a monitor with loop out and still use the RavenEye to send the signal to your phone.
Can I use this on A7ii
You'd have to check out the compatibility chart, but I'm guessing so.
I’m not getting any video feedback onto my phone, I’ve followed the steps but still nothing. It records, and recenters but no visuals
That is very odd, if all your cables are in the right holes like I've shown here, and they are the correct cables, it should work in video mode.
When i am using the raven eye, the phone disconnects from the gymbal, that means i cant use force mobile. Gymbal or Raveneye. i dont know how to fix that
What camera are you using? Have you set it up like I did in this tutorial?
Can You remote control ronin only by a phone without raveneye?
Sure, you can use the force mobile and virtual joystick, you just won't see the image, so you'll have to feel it out, similar to the Ronin S.
@@PhillipSkraba i want to use
Imaging Edge Desktop to control a7riii and phone to control ronin sc2 :)
@@skyd34th Sounds like a solid plan!
Oh mate. This saved me hours of anger with my a7iii and RSC2. However, I do wish we could control focus with Activetrack too.
I’m glad it helped! I hope DJI continue to drop lots of updates for these two gimbals, they really are quite incredible! I’m still working on getting to grips with 3D focus, super fun stuff!
Awesome bro. Am finally set up
Happy to hear that, have fun!
How do i use my raveneye and my atomos ninja at the same time?
I’ve tried this with various monitors, none work. I have seen someone had it working on one via a loop out but I’ve zero luck.
Hi, so my Video is Working but as soon as I turn into a Custom Shoot mode on my sony a7iii the picture freezes
No way! Have you got proxy turned on in the camera settings? If not, might be a bug that needs an update.
@@PhillipSkraba Hi, yes I got proxys turned off. I also found the issue, I had to remove the usb c cable that goes from the sony camera to the gimbal. Now the Image transmission works, but I dont have camera control :/ Maybe this will be fixed in future updates :D
Thank you very much for your help with sony camera!
You're welcome!
Is there a firmware update for the a7s3 yet? How would someone update firmware updates with the new ronin rs2?
Not yet, no. If there is a firmware update for your RS 2 then it will show up when you turn on the app, so don't worry about that, when it's available it'll let you know.
Hi all !. I'm struggling with my new RSC-2, Raveneye and my NikonZ6 camera. I connected all the cables based on this video and others. The problem I have is that in the shutter parameter of the Ronin app I can only select 'cache'. No way to select shoot nor shoot+cache. And then I found a message saying the 'camera control cable is disconnected' .. which seems to explain why I cannot select the shoot option of the shutter. But the cable is connected ! What I found out is that when I turn the RSC-2 on, I can immediately see the shoot options available and no error message about control cable disconnected. But after 15 seconds, the shoot options become grey and I have the message back about camera control cable disconnected. And this is repeatable. I checked all the cables and the ports where they are connected. All is OK. I also checked the camera parameters about USB parameters ... but did not really find anytthing helpful. Could that be an hardware or software bug between the RSC-2 and my Nikon Z6 ?
Anyone having experience with connecting the RSC-2 to a Nikon Z6 and having no problem with the control càble ? Thanks for any help ! Looking forward to getting any advice !
So, you're using the USB-C cable, that's the one you need for the Nikon Z6, and you also need to have live view enabled all the time for this to work. Apart from that it's close to impossible for me to help you as I switched to Sony a couple of years ago. I was a Nikon fan boy for about 20 years, the A7III stole me away. I hope you get to the bottom of this, if you do, let me know so I'll be able to forward this to anyone with a similar problem.
@@PhillipSkraba thanks ! I'll let you know what I will find out ! And maybe I'll move to Sony as well !
@@06baou Sony was a good move for me, I'm very happy with that decision. Nikon was in a different place back then, I was trying to film with the D850, that was a nightmare. I've heard the Z6 and Z7 are great, but I'm pretty happy where I am right now in regards to gear. The Sony a7III series cameras really do an incredible job.
how do i make it work on my canon 70d?
I’m afraid I don’t own any Canon cameras so I won’t be any help with that. Sorry about that.
Hi, reveneye only works when gimbal is in sleep mode... ronin rsc2.. can anyone help me ? Please.
That is very odd, have you plugged in all the correct cables in the correct places?
@@PhillipSkraba Probably yes. But it seems that the Sony a6400 is not compatible :/ I have to take out the cable that allows me to control the camera via mobile (shutter release etc..) In that case I have to switch on the shutter release on the camera..
