I copied your Rotator. I have made the base support. Gettting the rings made. I am gonna have a ring at the wing root. So, two Rotators to turn the wing. Thanks again for your video.@@ColeAviation
Very good idea making the frame out of 2×4s. I just got a booth like yours and was worried about power going out or breaker tripping. I'm gonna build the frame like you did. Thanks for sharing.
Dude you did almost exactly what i was dreaming of. Frame incase of power loss, and lights. I was thinking pvc frame so i could put it together when I want like tinker toys. Nice job dude.
Mike Patey (Draco and Scrappy) just recently got one of these blow up paint booths and loves it! He's not done all the reinforcement, but I really like the idea of building a skeleton in the event you did lose power and have the whole thing come crashing down - that would be a disaster - VERY GOOD IDEA!
Thanks for your comment! I greatly appreciate it! Yeah I keep up with all of Mikes videos. Watch every one of them from the beginning when he started his channel. But yes the frame definitely works. I was in the shop Friday and it was clear blue sky’s and all of the sudden the power goes out. Stayed out for 6 hours. 🙄 But that’s what I say because you never know when the power will go off. Rain or shine. 🤷🏼♂️ I wasn’t painting then but just saying. It’s well well worth the couple hundred dollars to do a frame and lights. 😁👍🏼
Nice I have one too. I watched your other earlier video on this. I don't know if you misspoke or if you are actually using the smaller blower for the ventilation. The larger blower is for the ventilation. The smaller blower is for blowing up the support frame. Nice shop.
I love it you know or would anybody recommend sand blasting large things in it to contain media and possibly sweeping up for reuse..or even powder coat to control over spray?
@@ColeAviation I have seen one here on youtube. And even when it would leak a bit, then you still could ad a pressure switch that turns the blower on and off and save about 23,9 hours a day on electricity and the lifetime of the blower. And the whole idea of a inflatable booth is that it's inflatable so that it can be easely built up and taken down again and you can use the space again, and what you did is built an entire frame of a shed and use the inflatable tent as the walls and roof, so not something that i would like to built up and down again every 2-3 months or so, and that's why i prefer a free standing one.
@@3DPeter free standing is the best. And the new style has a way better filtration system. I inquirer for a quote 2 days ago for a white free standing 15x30x10 booth at less than $1700. $460 shipping. 👍
Nice im looking to add 1 on each side .....do they sell the one you have or was it just custom made....i bought the gorrila pro because of your review about it i bought the 26x15 thank you
Do you leave the skeleton inside the booth and let it deflate for storing it? I just purchased one and was curious. I'd like to be able to leave the booth up for extended periods without having to run a blower if possible. Thanks and nice work👍
You are More than welcome. And yes sir I leave the frame and booth up until I get most of all the big things painted then take it down and blow up my smaller 8x10x16 out side and paint small parts. Thanks for ordering one. 😁👍🏼
Thanks for the informative videos!! Can you please provide rough dimensions of the wing rack/holder seen at 5:05 in this video? Or better yet make a video about it.
You have a very nice shop and paint booth set up! I just bought the same booth, Does your exhaust fan need to be explosion proof for the paint fumes you spray? I'm going to be spraying auto paint.
Thanks! That’s Awesome! Glad to hear you bought the same one. 😁👍🏼 No sir. I’ve never had a problem. I’ve sprayed auto paint, airplane paint and others. All good. 👌🏼😁👍🏼
I’m curious about the overspray I see on the walls of your booth. Does that overspray have any tendency to flake off the walls and then circulate as little chips in the air while you spray?
No sir it doesn’t. Plus I alway take a 2 gal pump sprayer with water in it and spray the floor and a little bit of the side before spraying just in case I have any tiny parts of dust in there. But no it does not flake off. 😁👌🏼
Did you say your spraying with the SATA 5500?? If so how do you like the gun? I am looking to upgrade my guns. I am currently spraying with DeVilbiss Tekna line. I was thinking of either going to the new DeVilbiss DV1 line up or the SATA 5500 X. Any feedback would be awesome.
I have sprayed with both DeVilbiss and SATA. The SATA 5500X will spray circles around DeVilbiss. How ever I have not used the brand NEW SATA JET X 5500 RP Phaser. It’s is a good bit more than the regular 5500X. But if you get the regular 5500X I would HIGHLY recommend getting the 1.3 i. They spray way better than the O. Hope this helps. Let know if you have anymore questions. Have a great day!
So I wanted to follow up since we last spoke about spray guns. I had the opportunity to spray with the Sata 5500 1.3 "o". And I had the chance to spray with the new RP phazer gun. One more question before I tell you what I think... Are you using one 5500 for primer, base, and clear? The Tekna line i have is the four gun set up. Touch up gun, primer gun, base gun, and clear coat gun.

Is it the exact same paint booth as this? Sewinfla? I’ve never had a problem with a zipper before. I know some of the other brands out there has a lot of different problems but Sewinfla is pretty much solid. 😁🤣
I went to college for 5 years to run dealerships. The 1st 2 years i choose autobody. Your not suppose to use lights inside the booth. They should be mounted on the outside. We were told if the lights spark, they can blow you up. I use to be an ase certified tech.
That’s why I got LED light that has a plastic cover over them. But yes..if it were regular fluorescent lights it could be possible. But thanks for your comment and Merry CHRISTmas!!
Lima Bravo - The blower runs the whole time to keep it blowed up. It is just like those bouncy houses that kids play on that blowup. The fan runs continuously to keep it inflated.
I just ordered an inflatable and was wondering if the over spray on the walls make it stick together when putting it away or with having the skeleton you always leave it up
Awesome! Thanks for the video.

I'm glad I watched your video it reassure me on the booth idea for my cabinet painting.had a tent 20x10
Didn't work well for long
It's nice because you have it inside

That is bad ass good job my paint brother

Yes sir. Most definitely would work for both of those applications.
Hnj toys makes free standing inflatable paint booths. Once it's blown up, it will stay without a blower running to keep it inflated for days.

Hey, when you added the 2x4 to the inside what did you use to isolate between the booth and 2x4
In the center where the little the little loops are at I just put some Velcro through those and around the 2x4’s. That’s all.
