I used an old two person tent that I was ready to throw away to paint my Harley, of course tank fenders and so forth are fairly small, worked great no bugs in paint... and if you paint you know bugs go straight for it
yea especially yellow or orange. the bees flock to it.

Get some of those flush mount D Rings like for trailer beds and chisel into concrete. Then you can tie that sucker down and we won’t see you on the 6 o’clock news like a runaway bouncy house. Looking forward to your next paint job.
Im gonna use the sand bags they gave me with the unit and make some more to hold the tops. They dont blow away as easily as you might think. I used one for my other paint jobs but this one is better.
That is beyond cool. When you do the ‘54, will you paint or at least prep the body before you remove it from the pan? And by the way, nothing on UA-cam comes close to what you accomplished with the bucket truck. Looking forward to seeing it in the magazines.

Mike I just purchased one of these inflatable paint booths do to your recommendation. I’m getting ready to paint my 67 deluxe bus. To save time and trying to get an early start do you think I could put my bus in the booth the evening before and deflate it with the bus inside all ready to go and the next morning inflate and start painting. Thanks for all your videos they really helped my with my restoration.

I think CT got one of those......DAMN.....But it is near 1000 dollars. Plasma cutter welder tig...OMG it looks cool. He will be posting a video pretty soon.
@@Mikefngarage thanks bro yeah it shows us a thousand bucks now but I guess it's going to go up to 1800 after it hits the market so I'm still like I don't know what to do wait for someone else to do it first😄✌ just spent an entire day making spacers for the MST Serpentine pulley kit just to let you know in case you use one they make the crankshaft pulley a few millimeters longer than it needs to be in order to clear aftermarket oil pumps which is great if you have aftermarket s*** but if you don't the alternator pulley sits way too far back and simply don't line up so you have to make a spacer for the alternator pulley, what a nightmare just used washers and made a notch and it with a Dremelemen it was almost perfect and then I end up using those little metal rings that hold together cut off wheels to get it just perfect😂

What happens if the power goes out 😮
I bought the same one. I use it inside my garage and anchor it to the ceiling in case of power loss. The biggest upgrade i did beside hanging it is adding fans to pull the air out. It is important to pull clean filtered air in and expel the vapors. I recommend 2-3k cfpm worth of fans.
You could have built a leantoo extension on your garage for a booth for what you paid and it would have been permanent and waterproof and much less hassle,
Too much money $1200 for me trying to paint my car at home does not make sense
It's not cheap but your still saving thousands of dollars. Trying to paint a car in your garage is a challenge especially when your not a professional painter. Most DIY guys try to use the cheapest paint kits and cheap guns like Harbor Freight. And they usually don't know how to properly wet sand and buff to fix the inevitable trash, bugs, paint nibs and runs..it's not cheap or easy but it can be rewarding.
