Nice review but you don’t address the question of backpack vs this type of bag at all. So what are the pros & cons?

It comes down to convenience. They both serve the same purpose at the end of the day. How do you want to wear the bag on your shoulder via a strap or just by carrying it? Or on your back?

hi, I am looking for a bag that works as a weekender as well. Are you able to pack enough clothes for 2 days and extra pair of shoes? or is this only to fit a jacket and technology aka personal item for the flight?

The one I reviewed is the smaller version of the bag meant to be more of a personal item. There is a bigger one they sell which is closer in size to a weekender bag.

@@EricTMeraki thank you for your reply! I went with the nomad lane bento bag v4. a little bit bigger but still fits as personal item. This works for me for domestic traveling. I will still consider the away everywhere bag in small for any international traveling 🙌
