That's bad.. Been playing for 2yrs never realized that there where two maps...
Getting a feel for the spawns was by far the thing that improved my positioning and tactics - and thus my chances of survival - early game the most. This kind of video is a great resource for anyone looking to improve their decision making, so a definite yes from my end on a similar video for the other map. Let's hope you get to do a third one fairly soon, as well:).
Definitely do a guide on the other map, I always learn something from your videos, and that's after 800+ hours in the game. Keep up the good work!

Great video concept but I haven't (everrrr) heard this map referred to as "Cemetary Map". It's Stillwater Bayou. I bet you'd get more views if you changed title of video to the map's actual name.

Very helpful, thank you. Me and my mate have a bad habbit of being really slow in the starting phase, mostly because we don't know if we'll have a safe position when we meet other hunters just after spawning. This video did a really good job of showing the "safe" spots. (Well, at least defensible ones.)
Im an experienced player but the refresher is nice. I'd like a Lawson Delta one because I don't think I ever properly checked all the spawn points

Thank you, now I won't have to explain spawns to my friends who are just starting to play. Spawning in and dieing right at the start of the game always sucks, and always so satisfying wiping a team right at the start of a game. Always got to check spawns.
After you've done the second spawn guide it would be cool to see similar compound guide!

The whole left section of this map is ridiculous, almost all of my 3+ team spawn fights have been at Blanchett, Davant or Cyprus. Probably my favorite section of map in the entire game, ironic since it's directly opposite from my least fav, Scupper/Reeker.
0:36 If it was me instead of you, i would get alrdy instant headshot before i even had a chance to throw it. Idk why the game puts me in cheater or pro player bracket with 90% headshot accuracy, LOL.
As a new player, this video shows how much of an advantage you veterans have on us noobs. I have no idea where to look for anybody..
The curve is steep, but after a little while a lot of this stuff becomes unconscious habit, you'll get there!

And then you see that he takes the path you always choose and you think 'Oh yes, we do it so right!' and this is the moment he says 'You can take this one but..' and you hear a lot of good points why the other way is better and what's wrong with this one. Hey 4FS, I'm in a bit of a jam. I've racked up over 250 hours in Hunt Showdown and found a bit of a balance. But a new issue has slapped me in the face. I keep getting paired up with idiots who break every rule in the book, veer off because the decide they want a different bounty, or chase after the gunfire! More than once I have considered shooting my teammate in the back of the head and bailing. I have tried going solo with very mixed results. Any advice on working around those kinds of player? Or solo hunting?
I really recommend using a regional discord server to look for partners, that way you can actually make more consistent friends with people you play with, random matchmaking is just okay at best, because you still miss out on most of the social elements of the game even if they are good and don't run off in the wrong direction constantly.
From a more practical perspective, players like that make great bait. Let them chase the gunfire and kill those that shoot at them!

Reasonably good chance to get pincered from spawns north and south? There was a patch a while ago that made it a lot less likely to spawn next to someone, isn't 3 teams spawning next to each other like 1:1000 chance? Honestly I don't remember that ever happening to me and I have only seen it on UA-cam once.
I'll end up in a spawnfight in about 1 in 3 games I reckon, but that's anecdotal of course.
As for three teams, thiis is unlikely, but once you engage in a fight the spawns one further away will usually be attracted if anyone is there.
@@4FSGaming That's true, when you start shooting, more people often show up in few minutes. But spawning between two teams never happened to me after that patch while back. But I honestly don't play as much, if you have 2000 hours, it can probably happen from time to time.

Thank you a lot. It helped a lot. I noticed that I do most of the strategies intuitively but is nice to have an explanation why.
I was under the impression that the map always has at least one spawn location spacing the teams. So never two spawn locations are occupied if they are immediately next to each other.
Thought so as well. I haven't played much since I've had problems with crashing (haven´t tried since I updated my BIOS) but I remember hearing this tip way back and always played with a kind of a relaxed mentality in the beginning, sure sometimes you meet people fast but I always though they were beelining spawns from further away.
It's pretty common for two teams to spawn right next to each other, there was supposed to be an update that reduced the chance of this, but it didn't seem to change anything in my experience, still getting spawn fights every other game.

On review, great video, but just a minor thing (which I'm sure you're aware of, but just to nail it down for new players especially): there's a huge difference between "cover" and "concealment". Best to differentiate in these guides between the two!
