NO !!! In fact, they need to know Nothing about a Serial Killer in the area. That's because the chances of being the victim of a serial killer in any major metro area is about the same as hitting the Jackpot in a State Lottery. It is the Mass Media that creates & sells the Serial Killer Monster image to increase advertising revenues on the backs of Naive & Gullible Media Consumers. 😮
For sure. So many of them are amongst us all at any given time. 50 or more aren't yet identified by police. That's terrifying, really. Be extra safe, careful, and Aware of your surroundings, especially females. ❤
Wow growing up in and around the area and a huge true crime person. I never even knew about this!! It’s usually things in your neighborhood and hometown that you never know about.
I think these horrid serial murder cases always hit harder for small quiet hamlets . No wants to realize that their once "safe" community has a boogeyman prowling about.
It’s crazy that the The guy got away from the police three times. You would think that since he is suspected of being a serial killer they would’ve came much more prepared. The first time they went to his house. They should’ve had somebody at the back of the house in case he fled. Then they could have detained him(not arrested him). On the traffic stop, I wonder if they didn’t wait to pull them over until they had multiple units to assist in the stop making it difficult for him to flee out the passenger side way that it sounds. He had enough time to move over from the driver seat, and flea out the passenger side. And then it happened again that he somehow fled when the officers were on the scene. I’m sure that this was a hard case!
Yes! Another true crime episode from *Very Local!* So last comment I left there was a reply saying there’s more stories like this on the app. Is the app free?
Chill out, they were not there to arrest him, he was not detained, it was merely questioning. He could have easily told them no, please leave and at that point there's nothing they could do. Do you even understand how laws and civil rights work or are you obtuse? Evidence is required for an arrest, the cops had nothing, not even enough for a warrant.
Police didn’t follow up the car lead, then they finally go to speak to him and they don’t cover the back door. They didn’t think, they didn’t expect etc, etc…. People died because of their lack of action and critical thinking. I wouldn’t have the gall to take part in this programme.
I follow quite a few true crime UA-camrs & this channel is top 5 in my book. All the other ones I follow are just independent UA-camrs, but the main reason I like this one is that they have the news reporters from the city where the crime happened to tell parts of the story. Along with the prosecutors, detectives & sheriffs/police. Even if the crime happened like 40 years ago…
@@Desstrik I’m saying that this is true crime, the comment is saying ‘stick to true crime’ under a true crime video, like they are literally sticking to true crime
One of my favorite channels on crime. Thank you 🌹
Been waiting for another episode of hometown tragedy. Thanks!
New episodes from this season hit the free Very Local app two weeks before UA-cam!
People may not want to hear that there’s a serial killer in their area, but they absolutely need to know!

Yeah and sometimes they're disguised as ordinary criminals and average teenagers, too. Come to think of it, we're in pretty bad shape here in America.

💯
@@tracynorris5012try over 500 aren't identified and are actively killing
Your shows are excellent. Love them and thank you! 🎉😊
Wow fascinating story, and so cool to see historic Pittsburgh footage!
Thanks I love this series
Murdering a near invalid man and his wife. That is absolutely an outrage. 🤬
Only a coward 😢
Wow! I used to live in Pittsburgh. I relocated with my family in 1976. The bicentennial year. Interesting upload. Thank you.

Yeah, I don’t go along with not prosecuting because they’re already serving a sentence, unless that is what the victim(s) want.
First. Great upload thank you.

I just don't think the Boy Scouts should be looking for a body. Nice that they'd help, but....
❤thanks
The constant much too laud music in the background is unnerving.

It says they’re free
Yes, it's absolutely free and available on any mobile or smart TV device.
@@HellaRecklessI predicted some smart ass was gonna say that. I meant if u had to pay to download/watch each video/crime story.
Nope! And you can watch more episodes as well, since the ones uploaded here hit the app 2 weeks earlier.
Yup! I have it on my Roku 😊. I enjoy Very Local.
Stupid police they should have had somebody at the back door to prevent a suspect to escape.

Nice and short like forensics files
Beaver County?! Pittsburgh?! That's my hometown!
Dad was in Texas wih the military in 1977, but I wonder if he knows about this
raping a mother infront of her daughter and husband then raping the daughter infront of her parents....what a foul creature
🙏🏻💚💜🙏🏻
Evil, evil person
Oh sure "Pittsburgh's the best place in the world to live"
America frightens me.
Very local. Just stick with the true crime please 😅

"And he was gone." Really?
Suspected serial killer undetained.
Flip a cop off today, detained, assaulted, arrested.
A shotgun huh?
Turn the background music down some!!!😮
Pittsburgh is a total dump!
