I went to school with this guy. When I think back to those days, I recall seeing him walking around the campus randomly. He was always outside. Never in class, meetings, or the cafeteria. He would just roam around the campus in his flip flops. He was a cheerleader too. Thankfully, tho, he never murdered any students. He sparred us. We were all truly blessed! This is mind bottling. You just never know what monster you may have amongst you.
    RIP to all victims ❤

Hometown tragedy be hitting my spirit in so many ways, I finally caught a video soon as it dropped. Awwww mom you wasn't square, but a great mom who wanted what was best for your beautiful daughter!! But for the grace of God there goes I, I had to get my life right and fast, loyalty and being naive got me in some predicaments that could have resulted in me not being here today. All the glory goes to my higher power, if it had not been for his grace and mercy I wouldn't be here to tell my story. Rest in heaven to the beautiful victims and their families!

Wow, I can surely relate. I'm fortunate that I grew up in a very small town, far from places that young people wanted to go. Plus, we couldn't afford for me to travel for things like spring break. I surely managed to get myself into some very risky situations though, & it's only by the grace of God that I didn't end up in a ditch somewhere. I drove my poor mom crazy. It's no wonder that she needed to take "nerve pills" as she called them. I'm glad she lived long enough to see me grow up & get my shit together. Thankfully, she only ever knew about a small percentage of my stupid antics. I had two older brothers, & my mom always said that raising me was harder than raising both of them. She was a wonderful woman, & I'm blessed to have had her for a mother. May she rest in peace with the knowledge that I'm doing well.

That officer had a damn good reason to call said dude a scumbag and hurl insults. What they don't tell you is Daytona city council was being annoying bc they were trying to repress the media about warning the community because they were worried about the beach area's income. Many people don't realize how much $$$ comes in from the beach businesses alone & the announcement of a serial killer would have put a massive impact fiscally on those businesses. I remember bc I was in Jacksonville just north of Daytona and heard all about it from a friend of the family.

@@Jamalcornbread1488- Daytona being a shit hole is not the fault of gay people or a dating app for the LGBTQ+ community. What a bigoted & inappropriate statement. Daytona started to steadily decline & get more seedy & unsafe back in the mid 1990’s. Not because of the gay community either.🤦🏻‍♀️ The drugs, drinking, prostitution, crime, & general unkempt nature of the town were the far bigger problem. In fact, gay people in a community tend to invest in property, start businesses, start families, be educated & gainfully employed, & more. A perfect example of a beach town that had started to slowly but steadily decline & become more seedy sort of like Daytona Beach is Rehoboth Beach, DE. The gay community from the DC/MD/VA area started vacationing there in the mid 1980’s & then steadily building &/or buying homes, shops & restaurants. They invested in beautification of their properties & the town as a whole. They also became involved in town & county politics & public service.
When you go to Rehoboth Beach today, it is such a charming, pretty, well-kept town, w/ a thriving economy & community of people who live there full-time or all summer. Tourism is at a high level, especially for families.
Please don’t be so quick to judge others just because you don’t accept or understand a person being gay. Being gay isn’t a “lifestyle choice,” as too many still claim. Educate yourself, please. Did you choose to be heterosexual or did you just know you were from the time you were a teen? Same thing for those who are gay.

Sorry that I am so late to the home hunting party, but I have been knee deep in becoming a fellow Nevadan‼️🙌🏽🙌🏽 It is official and I chose the community that I asked you to tour for me. You were correct ~ 10/10❣️ I am so happy and appreciate you so much for all of the assistance you have provided me. This is a brilliant choice for a family, and I 100% agree with you about purchasing vs buying. There is far more involved than just the monthly mortgage. My son is a home owner back east. It cost him $10,000 to unexpectedly repair an appliance. My niece is also a back east homeowner and must replace her roof prior to this winter. I am a happy renter. I hate responsibility. 🤣

I followed this case for quite a few years as I actually lived in Daytona and that Ridgewood Avenue area from 1994 to 2001. I lost track of the case and hadn't really looked it up. This is the first time I'm hearing that they actually caught, tried and convicted the killer. Not sure why this wasn't bigger news nationally. I remember when they caught BTK Dennis Rader, Green River Gary Ridgeway, and more recently the Long Island Serial Killer Rex Huermann...you heard about it on the national news daily for a long time.

My heart really goes out to these officers. They do so much, every day, to Amel sure we are all safe and that the laws are being abided by and deserve our respect so much and the media allows things like, defund the police" to even be spoken ! I cannot imagine having to do their job, day in, day out, for very little pay. These are sons, daughters, siblings, parents, friends of people just like anyone else. It is definitely a calling, like teaching, preaching, the service. It's surely not for the pay, or accolades. They have a job to do, that is important and needed. They are included in my prayers always. ❤ 🙏
