For over 24 years, I’ve ONLY worn Arai helmets. I still have each one. Each tells a story. Just picked up a new Corsair X to replace the last Corsair V I’ve been wearing since 2015 and the new VAS-V Pro Shade system system is awesome. Thanks Arai for making the best helmets available.
Arai decided NOT to make drop down visor helmet because they think it compromise the safety of the helmet while other company are having big sales numbers on touring helmet with built in visors like Shoei GT Air, AGV K3/K5, HJC RPHA 70. Arai took their philosophy really seriously.
I would love to have an Arai, but the Indian govt. has banned all import and sell of helmets that are not ISI certified. I would love Arai to come to India officially, the riders are increasing day by day and safety is a major concern. I hope Arai listen to this and consider and official entry to India. A lot of helmets that we have here locally are only certified, but not that safe when a crash happens. That is a great cause of concern to motorcycle riders. Arai, if you're listening to this come to India officially please.
why these too fanatic about arai ,those helmets different brand pass ece ,2205 , also good agresive design u cnnot say its gimmic without concern safety ?? omg ,racer motogp also wear it at top level even not arai only one ,and all top racer safe also in their helmet you see motogp pass fim homolegation ,not even one of them die yet when crash head ,man ,, .they cool desaign helmet could do better than arai and safer ece pass dot .noted that
Bang, semata2 pass ece 22.05 tak bermakna semua helmet yg pass ujian tu sama level safety diorang. Saya bagi contoh, motor saya CB650R boleh cecah 220km/h. Dalam masa yg sama CBR Fireblade pun boleh cecah 220km/h. Adakah ni bermakna motor kami sama kelajuan dia? Tak sama. 220km/h tu level minimum je utk pass. Bukan bermakna helmet Arai sama safety dorang dgn helmet polycarbonate yg murah di luar sana. Helmet Arai dah pergi jauh dari level 22.05 pun. Ye betul, helmet yg ada shell fancy2 mmg boleh affect safety. Dia boleh twist kepala dan leher kita jika terlanggar benda yg salah. Kenapa rider motor GP pakai helmet lain selain Arai? Bang, MotoGP tu banyak sponsorship. Rossi pakai AGV tu bukan sebab AGV helmet paling selamat di dunia. Tapi sebab AGV bayar dia juta2 utk marketing. Ye betul, banyak lagi helmet top lain yg masih selamat selain Arai. Tapi saya fanatik dgn Arai sebab diorang mmg tegas dgn prinsip & falsafah diorang berkenaan keselamatan. Diorang tak buat sun visor utk ikut trend kerana dorang anggap benda tu boleh menjejaskan keselamatan helmet. Padahal bnyk kot brand lain yg buat, kenapa Arai tak buat, boleh kaut untung lagi banyak, tak gitu kan? Diorang tak buat sebab diorang ada prinsip. Diorang takkan berganjak dari prinsip yg dah dipegang hampir 100 tahun tu.
Lupa nak mention tentang rider yg mati masa pakai helmet brand lain. Ya, ramai yg dah mati. Salah seorangnya adalah Daijiro Kato yg mati, sewaktu memakai helmet Shoei.
Hope can i have one arai helmet.. Its 2 expensive cant afford to buyit.. Ihope someones gonna give me a arai helmet.. It would be a great gift for me.. Thank you
Arai saved my life when my head when through a windshield in an accident. Just got another Arai and will always get Arai as long as I ride
