Thank you so much! This was very cool, simple, clear, and concise. It's not always like this in the real world, but this explanation is awesome.

You do AR and MR separately and you also deal with each issue separately, IRAC for each issue ..

Question: most of the videos on UA-cam about IRAC seem to agree on there being one main issue and that is the issue that you discuss (like a thesis statement). What about the cases that have multiple issues? I was told by my professor it should go like this, issue/rule, issue/rule, issue/rule….analysis, conclusion. Is IRAC meant for one main issue or all the issues in the case? Thanks.

This is meant for high school, and I usually only give them one issue at a time. For the bar exam, we usually look for a complete IRAC analysis of each issue before moving on to the next.

I like the explanation but the timeline really plays with my OCD. "...are hanging out at TJHS 'AFTER SCHOOL' one 'MORNING', waiting for students to 'ARRIVE'..."
Are we talking about night school or typical school hours during the day? If typical day school, I would have to call into question the reliability of the witness and their statement. Thus, I'd get the four teachers acquitted.
Additionally, the use of the word "SHOULD" in the phrase, "...suggests that they should break into..." is not the same statement that they WILL. The former is an opinion with the latter being an affirmative statement for committing an action. I would therefore argue that the teachers did NOT agree to COMMIT a crime but only an opinion that one should occur. The actions of Mrs. Scears falls completely on her for a few reasons.
First, the agreed opinion did not include Mrs. Scears' action of spraypainting the cameras. That is all of her own mind.
Second, because of Mrs. Scears' misunderstanding of the English language and the difference between the meaning of the words "should" and "will", her independently planned actions should not be held against the other three teachers as they only expressed agreement of opinion.
BTW, It is apparent that Mrs. Freeman is the English teacher and Mrs. Scears is the Art teacher.
