Ms. Cheryl Song and her partner Randy were the King and Queen of Soul Train in the early 80’s. Phenomenal Dancers!
I’m just here to see the fashions. Fashion definitely repeats in different decades.
Ok just ignore the dancing ; )
@@brianfergus839Whats wrong with her looking at the fashion?
@@SNOWQueen87-v1g nothing… did I say there was something “wrong” with her looking at the fashions?
It's time to bring Otis (the costume guy) on here. It doesn't matter that he's in a wheelchair--he still has stories to tell and I know I'm not the only one that wants to hear them. Where's his video?
Agree
No you aren’t. I would love to see him and others profiled that we haven’t seen.
Yes
@Ambree Williams, add my name to the list too. Otis was a big part of Soul Train. I'd love to hear his story too! 🙋🏿♂️👏🏿👏🏿😎Everyone stay safe out there! 🙏🏿😷🙏🏿
Same!
Anyone who was born between the 1950s-1970s. We witnessed the best times in music history. 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s. I feel bad for those who were born in the 1980s-1990s.
Here, here 👍
@Black Mamba Jr 4 Ever
Lol, ok? We had better music, better shows, no internet boom period happening, we were actually mentally Stronger than you snowflake millennials.
You kids who grew up in the 90s cry to mommy to solve your problems now.
@Darkgreen 0311
AMEN🙏
@Darkgreen 0311
We didn't have the internet, we actually went outside too
I was born in 1990 and my earliest memory of watching Soul Train was at 5 and I I watched it religiously until it went off air.
Those were the days

Crystal was feeling it 💃🏽
Crystal, Sheila and Cheryl are amazing in this video. And as the styles of music and dance changed over the many years they were on the show-they kept up and just got better and better!
This was one of the best part of my Saturday mornings growing up. I use to pretend that I was a Soul Train dancer. I had a number of favorite dancers, including Cheryl Song, Tom Tom, Crystal, Shabba Doo, and Big Lou. Soul Train showed how hip we can be.💛🔆🎶✨👍🎶🤩🚂
We all need more of this in our lives.
Love me some Crystal! Such style and grace! 😎👏🏿👏🏿..A fantastic dancer too!
Throughout my life I'd hear a funk'd up song in public and have an overwhelming desire to starting movin' down the Soul Train line. Always wishing Crystal was there to join me.
Crystal McCarey was one of the most radiant and beautiful dancers on Soul Train. She's one of those people who's just naturally cool. She just oozes style and class! Wow!
Oh, what a good time to be alive!💃🏾❤
Crystal was one of my all time favorites!
Wow took me back 2 my teenage years. 🤗
Where did the time go?
I love the outfits and I learned to dance by watching Soul Train in the 70' and 80's.

Juliette Hagerman was and is my favorite dancer! 😎👏🏿👏🏿 Add big Lou and Tom Tom to the list, along with the other great Soul Train dancers! Such memories!

Me too. I found “Chrystian/ Stand up rise” on Spotify, but it is a different mix
@Neil Egan-Ronayne, it's called "Hynotized" by Erwin de Graaff. I hope this helps.

Crystal , You were the Best dresser and dancer!❤️
Yes Crystal you slayed. I remembered most of the episodes!
This was vintage Cheryl and Crystal. Both of them did it for me. Crystal in the mid 80s though...🔥🔥🔥She used to burn up my tv in them outfits she got poured into.🙏
Probably the coolest video on all of youtube. Just wonderful.
All the dancer should do a reunion
Can we bring back soul train 😢😭. Where can I sign the petition?!
👍Awesome
I'm still watching soul train dancing in 2021 and am a 64 yo white guy from UK - just love this music from 70's and 80's.
I remember a dancer called Neicy or Deneice - always on a pedestal/or at the forefront doing her sexy thang.
Great Music, Great Memories, Great Times ...... and as for today - mostly unforgettable music and a useless snowflake youth.
I remember you iwas kid in. 76
