She's one of three that always stood out every Sunday that I watched. She's still gorgeous
I'm 42, and I remember watching this with my aunts, uncle , dad, mom, and cousins from 1984-1992. I remembered my mom and uncle used to tell me how they used to cut up the dancefloor at the clubs back in the 1970s to the mid 1980s. My cousins and I really liked that 1970s/1980s vibe, everybody was just having a good ol' time. I wish now in the 2020s we have a blend of 1970s, 1980s and 1990s vibe, fashion, media and asthetics , the 2020 should kinda echo the 1920s . From the ROARING 2s(1920s), to the SOARING 20s(2020s)!
I live for these interviews. You can see these folks reliving some great times. So awesome for them sharing their experiences.
Every Saturday at 12 noon I watched American Bandstand and at 1:00pm it was Soul Train. I had a smile on my face the whole time I watched this video. I grew up during the best time in American history because it was the best music ever. The 70's.
Great times
Keep em coming! We LOVE IT! Start airing the reruns on Saturday on BET!
TVone should consider airing reruns as well!
I say Bounce TV I don’t watch BET anymore
@@lateshiachilds3640 BET owns the rights to Soul Train

Exactly bring back the reruns
Yo, I cannot stop smiling. She was a part of my childhood routine.
OMG! Another one my favorite Soul Train dancers. I have to say that her story is another testament to 'what is meant for you will
happen when it's time.' It's interesting how when she wanted to be there; her grandmother wouldn't let her,...but later the opportunity presented itself again, and she just so happened to be in the 'right place at the right time'.
Not many people get second chances in life so this was a true blessing for her. Shout out to Chrystal McCarey.
#Love #Peace and #Soul for real.
I liked Crystal before I saw this, and even more now.
Crystal was my favorite female dancer on that show hands down. Her hips were fluid and the way she interpreted the music through her body resonated with me big time. I could watch that lady dance all night i tell you. So glad she's recognized here.
My favorite dancer too!
That particular soul train intro was dope!
When I was a youngster, and whenever Soul Train came on, I used to dance my butt off! 😄😄
When my granddaughter was an infant she stayed with me. At 2am while I gave her a bottle I watched Soul Train. She is 32 now. Still love this music! ❤
Soul Train was all I lived for Sat mornings in Atlanta... Don RIP and Thanks for those precious memories...
The outfits, the music, the style- iconic!
Glad she and others are well. Gods Grace! Keep posting more interviews.
The animation tho! I enjoyed this😂🤭 Your still a beautiful lady✌🏾
My all time favorite TV show. A lot of those people are still here because of all that dancing. It’s a great exercise.
I remember her so vividly and she’s from my hometown so she always stood out to me ❤️
I danced with her at the Speakeasy back in the day. She was gorgeous and a sweetheart!
I use to say this about you, she can’t dance but she cute and her clothes are cute. And the personality was so Betty Davis.
agreed she couldnt dance
she looked nice though otherwise it would be a rap
One of the BEST shows ever. Beautiful black people!!! And the FASHION!!!👍🏾🙏🏾
Everybody was more classy back then, no matter their race.
Crystal was definitely a favorite to watch especially going down the Soul Train line. She gave it all face, hair, fashion and moves.
Omg!! I use to LOVE her outfits on Soul Train.
Finally they bring Crystal on here!! It’s about time, she was always my favorite, and I always admired her beauty and dancing❤️
Yes, Yes, Yu are surely of the most memorable SoulTrain dancers!
I met Don in person once a few years before he passed and his voice still had me swooooooooning. So major.
Yeah Crystal I like your smooth style of dress and dance...yes
8:13 is Rosie Perez to the right w/the hat. Love her raw and gritty dance style. 🦋

She looks Great
WOW! This is freaky! I’m just now finishing up re-writing a film script in which the main characters spend time at the Moulin Rouge, which includes a “Joe Louis” character. I began working on this script many years ago and during this entire period I’d never came across one single person who had even heard of the Moulin Rouge, and now to discover someone whose mom actually danced there is so cool! But wait! It gets even more freaky; the script was originally written for my ex girlfriend’s daughter, Nona Gaye. Yep Marvin’s daughter!! Crystal, I’d LOVE to chat with you-if you’d do me the honor. Thanks
She is so chill and cool,I love that she wanted to dance and learned moves from her mother.I would love to go out dancing again....
One day when all this is over, for now my living room.
What a tribute to the hippest show on TV even today in the stories of these dancers. Peace, Love, and soullllllllllllllll!! Thanks for Sharing Ms. Jenkins you, your mother and grandmother are awesome...👏🏼 R.I.P. Don your soul lives on.❤🌟

Right! 🤭🤭🤭
I respect Don for telling her that what's done for one, would have to be done for 50 more. That's class.
Nothing short of fabulous.
