Me too! I expressed that in my second version's video where I fed it a stream of glass, but I couldn't think of any practical farm that could use it then. The closest thing that I can think of now is a stone farm because you can't blow that up to turn into item form for automatic transportation via water stream or minecart. I think it could become legitimately useful for many with the upcoming Skulk blocks. With the stone scenario, you're probably going to be mining them, so why not mine them on-site? With Skulk blocks, you might not want all that XP at once all at the farm, so you could possibly redistribute not only to somewhere away from the farm, but multiple places.
I definitely predicted it a year and a half ago xd I tried to think of a *specific* use case when I made this video, so I'm glad that there could possibly be one soon!

@@200Ethan I did watch this one. It is very good as well. I was looking into options to avoid flying machines since those aren't reload safely. This one isn't reload safely either, but this one is easier to rebuild if it does get reloaded at the wrong time.
This is a neat infinite pusher but i'm having trouble understanding what this would actually be useful for... if the goal is to push one block in one direction for a long distance wouldnt sticking the block on a flying machine be more cost effective?
Oh absolutely! The fastest flying machine is also at 5 blocks per second, although it only works in one direction, and is bigger than a slice of what I made. It can probably carry more blocks, but I would imagine unloading from multiple locations is more of a hassle than it all going to one source. What I've made here is a very niche (perhaps too niche for anything worthwhile, at least for this update), very expensive device. I also made a much smaller, slightly slower one-way version that is much more economical, linked in the pinned comment.
@@200Ethan this have different use then flying machine. Flying machine are slower because need to return back (they can be 2 way), this is good as line conveyor and can push 12 nlocks such us the flying machine do.

Thanks :) Short and sweet will do it. Please hold me accountable to this if I in the future I make a standard, obnoxious loud introduction for branding purposes or something.
@@200Ethan if I remember correctly, your design is a little more cost friendly than mine. Mine used repeaters I believe. Also, it’s very impressive that you are still replying to comments!
Wait!!! You can literally use a version that uses two observers, a sticky- and normal-piston, and a repeater. I will be uploading a video on it later today. It can't reverse, though.
It's for moving blocks already placed in the world that can't (for your objective) be destroyed and transported via item form. If those situations exist, then I wouldn't say it's pointless.
Definitely not for the retraction, but also for the pushing I would assume not because the pistons pushing the block themselves have to be pushed into place. I don't have any experience with 0-ticking since 0-tick farms got removed.
Alright alright, it may happen a year and a half late but I promise it will come... after a different Redstone contraption that I need to make a video about.
Great question! . . . I don't have a great answer, but it was just an interesting idea I had. It's super bulky and expensive, and doesn't have very many -- if any -- practical uses, but hey, a year and a half ago I published the video for the viewers to find out.

This an awesome build but it isn't a piston extender but more like a super fast block mover.
Yep! Another commenter pointed that out too, I just haven't changed the name of the video because I posted an updated version with more accurate name.
Great concept. Much love. I look forward to referencing this video again when I try to build this is my world.
Thanks a lot! I made a much better improved version, I just need to record and edit the video once I've beaten this cold.
I congratulate, but this is a conveyor.
That's really cool !
I think copper bulbs just made this way more useful
Mumbo Jumbo would love this.
Cool design dude :D keep it on!
If you manage to do a vertical version it would work great as an elevator.

this would be a great concrete generator with basic redstone. Just afk place it and watch it go with a water source at the end.

keep up the work remember don't give up on youtube and your content. have a good day.:)
Me wondering if this is how 30x30 piston doors are made
As far as I know they use flying machines. That does give me a good idea though. . .
mumbojumbo is proud
Man made a flying machine
Haha, depending on the situation, flying machines will be much, much, much better than this. It's a super niche design.
This would be epic if we had moveable chests and barrels, but alas
Minecart Chest + Piston Bolt
Wow o really nice now I don’t need to download any mod!

No. I'll make one if I can make something better than ilmango's. Here's his: ua-cam.com/video/fm36BxDXId8/v-deo.html
@Mumbo what do you think?
this would be extra useful if you could move chests with pistons

Technically not infinitely expandable cause of the world border or maybe the loaded chunks stuff might limit it idk
Ok nice technicality. Sure, nothing real (that we are sure of) is infinite.

not entirely sure. A lot of these comments have good ideas though. If not practical, it's at least cool IMO.
