Watchbox was such an established brand and 1916 sounds like the company is looking backwards not forwards. Doesn’t really make sense tbh

For those wondering about the significance of the year and why they chose 1916: March 8-9 - Mexican Revolution: Pancho Villa leads about 500 Mexican raiders in an attack against Columbus, New Mexico, killing 12 U.S. soldiers. A garrison of the U.S. 13th Cavalry Regiment fights back and drives them away.

It’s not just a re-naming of Watchbox btw, but the name given to the merging of WatchBox, Govberg, Radcliffe, and Hyde Park as a single entity. Why 1916 was chosen though!? 💩🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️

I agree, pls share the significance of the year 1916, but on another note, given a name change was going to happen, you have eased us slowly and gently into the rebranding which I appreciate:) we've seen much worse
