Never use ammonia based cleaners like windex. Ammonia can breakdown coatings and even discolor the glue on date lenses. Use tint safe glass cleaner and a quality microfiber towel
Never use a tooth brush!!! Use dawn and the water pressure from the sink. Rub it around and let it air dry. Then use the Rolex gloves to wipe clean. To get in between the grooves, take it to rolex and they use the bath
Stainless steel isn’t marred or marked by plastic. That’s a Hulk Date Sub, so steel. Are you special? Most watches are steel, and rolex uses a softer steel than most, and it doesn’t scratch, why would most worry? Gold watch owners take it for servicing and don’t clean their belongings anyway, staff does, or they go to the appointment once every few years for their barely ever worn watch to get lubed up for another few years. If a toothbrush worries you, don’t wear your watch, oxygen does a number on it as an oxidizer, keep it in a sealed package in a nitrogen purged room.
I like to use denture tablets, warm water and a soft toothbrush. You’d be surprised at how clean it’ll get by just putting your bracelet in the solution.
Tapwater is no good at all, just look at the deposits on your taps. Only use Perrier or San Pellegrino. Evian for precious metals. For bioceramic cases, toilet cleaner products are OK.
If I don’t have time I just put it in the dishwasher. Or even better open my window and hang my arm outside the car wash 😎
Never check the crown. It’s always screwed down.
Love that Daytona 116528 ! Paul Newman dial ! Have the same and love it !
Just done this with my Cartier Santos with leather strap.
You owe me a new watch Eric😐
I own a few Rolex and I use the tooth brush as well with a soft bristle, but I use dawn dishwashing soap and my Rolex’s come out looking brand new.
Also wind your watch and set it. Is not a piece of jewelry but a clock.

How much for the Hulk? 🤔

Yo Eric, do you do consignments?
The water 😭

We are having water supply problems for the past few months, so seeing that tap running without being used is a bit hard to watch.
Ive never cleaned my watches.
That‘s pretty disgusting and an incredibly weird thing to be proud of.
