Hands-On review Tudor Black Bay 41 Monochrome 2024
Week on the wrist review Tudor Black Bay 41 Monochrome 2024 - Навчання та стиль
I think this is the perfect watch for someone who likes golf, the missionary position and having a nice clean car.
Factd
Two out of three for me. Not a golfer.😅
So a boring person
😂
I’m still on the fence if this was supposed to be an insult 🤣😭
Forget the watch. This video is excellent. The setting. The pacing. The script. The chatting critique and information. Production value. Very very good. Love it!
Yes but Tudor, such a boring overexposed brand.
@@johnayres2303 I do like Tudor but I am starting to agree with you. They are taking on a more Rolex “innovation” vibe. “New colour-world ends”. I can’t knock them as a whole but I do very much see your point.
I think it’s because for many they are still obtainable so people are happy to talk about them.
But if they are going to. It should be in this style.
Except the music used, which is total crap
Mate stop it
It’s a bit cringe
This is my favourite video you've ever made. So well done both visually and narratively
I will put my two cents in here. I think this watch pulls at our watch nerd-heart strings so strongly, because most of us would love to have had a Rolex Submariner No-Date from back in-the-days, when the Sub was a tool watch, had no date complication, had an aluminum bezel, and was affordable. In addition, this current Tudor has all the modern updates that we all wish one of those old Rolex Subs had come with. And lastly, there it is. It’s right in front of us. We can actually have a New, Old-Stock Rolex Sub for a “reasonable” price, brand new. We can maybe finally be the One Watch Guy we all envision those cool guys in the 60s and 70s to have been. I would love to have one of these.
And Adrian, you are right that the “boring” black versions of many watches are the most popular. Why? Because they fit in anywhere and everywhere.
yes, i agree with that 😉
I don‘t want a Rolex Submariner No-Date. I want a date on all my watches, like the BB Steel. Not sure Tudor will release a date version of the new BB.
Amen 🙏
@@panorama4526No date is pure perfection.
Meh. Do something new. Never was a fan of the BB. I agree with the modern movements/no date comment though. They’ve rode this horse beyond the ground. Black Bay…
Holy hell, this video is gorgeous!!! This is Adrian showing us his true artistic skill as a videographer and storyteller, not stealing focus from the watch but building the perfect backdrop for what he is communicating about the watch itself! More content like this Adrian, you rock!!
Love what you’re doing with the channel. You’ve helped me so much with my watch journey. Thank you!
Essentially it is a Rolex no date Sub, for half the price and available today to purchase. I actually prefer the bezel on the Tudor to the ceramic bezel of the modern Sub
I completely agree with you.
However I still believe a vintage or sub pre super case and ceramic bezel would be hard to beat.
Also 1513 to 14060m prices are starting to fall and become a viable vintage alternative below the current model rrp.
See, so do I. Love this as an every day
@@bobhob35 true. Although this is still half the price of a 14060M …so is easier to get pass the boss 🤣
@@waxy954 alternative names include independent financial advisor.
Which is ironic as my wife works for a bank. But honestly I can’t see the appeal of not jumping though my local authorised dealers artificial hoops.
Never comment on videos, but loved this format. Being sat on a train in London watching this, it felt like a mate was talking watches with me. Keep it up A
Production quality and insights on the piece are top notch. Keep doing this!
I hope Tudor release a blue dial, blue bezel version in the same blue as the 58.
The OG B&J is back! Love the mix of the outdoor setting, nature, and commentary!
Love the video, Adrian. The pacing, the story line, the shooting, etc. All great stuff.
Loving everything about the video, Adrian! More of this, please! 😊
Extremely well done!
Can’t beat our home 🏴 Epic video mate, keep at it
Especially now that your horrid first minister has resigned
You live in a loch?
What’s the location on that video ? Absolutely stunning views
This video is quality content! Love the second camera person filming you film the watch, the leica taking pictures then immediately showing the pictures, the hand in the water, the measuring and strap change, the exploring while talking. Keep it coming!
Thanks for taking us along on the creative journey!
I have been in the hobby for 12 years. This is my favorite watch so far. Perfection doesn't exist but this Tudor is the closest thing to it.
I've been in this hobby for 12 hours, and this video made me want to go out and buy this timepiece right now!
@@4by_yotaguy373 Ah ah! Excellent ! Still in love with mine.
I like the vlog video style Andrian👌🏽💥
Been following you since the beginning, great evolution of your channel !
Love this style of video and how you changed locations many times throughout amazing camera work man!
Your videos are now on another level.. flying so high, they're almost in space. That was stunning. Love loch Lomond. Need to get over to the west side soon. Hello from the Scottish Borders Adrian. Been watching your videos for years. Huge well done
This is such a beautifully made video. I love the setting, the varied angles, the details, and the narrative. I feel as though you’re on a little day trip and have invited a friend. Brilliant work! ❤
Nice AeroPress work, by the way 🙌
Awesome video, love seeing the watch being shown in the real world and not just studio shots.
Thxs the share and work A!! Great review, and the stills are worth the price of admission!
That Apple-esque flyover intro was marvellous
I think the watch looks better on the jubilee. I actually don't mind this watch but I do think this as close to classic Tudor as you can get. But the negative of that is that it's far closer to being a cheaper submariner than anything that's gone before it.
Great video! Highly entertaining yet also informative and really well shot. More of this please!
Great vid! Like your content and the shots! What do you think about the new grey Polaris Geo?
Adore this style of "out in the world" video! Add in the production value and style, definitely 100% - love it!
Unbelievable production Adrian and some beautiful photography 👏
Love the video. Amazing quality. Thank you!
Excellent video, beautiful scenery. More of this please
Bro! Your game is just getting better and better! I’d rate this as one of the best watch review videos I’ve seen - period! Your footage b-roll and stills are inspiring. You make me want to make better videos.
Enjoyed this video, like the format 👍🏻
Great video, Adrian! I love the outside scene and that you have a camera man, and the photos you took are great feature in the video! Well done!
This style of editing and pacing is perfect! Nice one Adrian! Keep it up!
Great content Adrian, love the style of this video. Super informative, great visuals (as ever) and about the perfect running length too. Aside from the B&J nato, what do you think is the best strap / bracelet for this watch?
Adrian, you’re a true artist. This video is so gorgeous, dang you’re so talented man. Keep it up
Tremendous vid and storytelling! This is what actually makes the viewer relate to the real world wearing experience. Can't wait to see what's in store for the channel!
Great review and your best format IMO.
Brother, I have had this on my wrist since I purchased several months ago.. I have owned several black Bays and this was exactly what I was looking for. I love the tool feel..
LIkewise and 100% agree.
That was my favorite episode! I love the ending 👍
I bloody love this Adrian. So great to see all this thinking take place in the field. Really nice and natural. And many great points that you make in this one. Bravo Bro!
Thanks so much boss. 🙌🏻
Thank you for asking Tudor about whether METAS movements have any physical changes! Super interesting.
If I've got this right you could assume that most of the in-house movements are of a similar quality to a METAS movement?
@@jamestrice6853most likely very similar with minor tweaks and more extensive testing.
Look at you, with the creative story telling. Good stuff dude. And I got this one a few weeks ago it’s awesome.
I honestly love this watch... Enough to where i picked it up on the 5 link bracelet.
Its wonderfully boring and fits everywhere, and i think thats what really makes it great.
I’m liking Tudor more and more. Looking forward to seeing what develops next.
I like the watch and the riveted bracelet. Glad they kept it. 😊
Thank you for sharing Adrian
Incredible video. Your best yet!
brilliant video, story line! amazing photography
The production quality here is on a different level, well done!
you are very good with making these kind of productions I absolutely love it
Classic Adrian is finally back! Love this video
Stop being better then everyone. This video is beautiful
Mate, the production quality of this video is just 🔥🔥🔥
Really sad that we don't get videos often but if it means we get this stuff I am alright with that.
Excellent content. Thank you. How does the new BB “feel@ in comparison to the 41mm submariner?
Great video, which camera are you using for the watch shots?
Bravo on this one, Adrian! Excellent content!
Awesome video, you really took it to the next level in this one🙏🙌
GREAT video loved the scenic photography & videography, felt like I was right there with you talking watches in Scotland.
Well made watch. Good looking.
What’s far more interesting is where and how this was shot. Stunning.
Good job
best production video you've made. No question. Really cool video.
Exceptional content here - wow, great work! I love my chunky 41mm Heritage BB - gilt dial FTW... This monochrome is interesting, and has a nice balance of simplicity / sporty.
what kind of camera are you using? great video!
Rock-solid review. Love the on-location videography and the absolutely gorgeous scenery! Big Tudor fan here with a medium-size collection. I have the original 2012 BB41 Burgundy among others. The new 2024 BB41 Monochrome watch is uber-cool. Hope to see one 'in person' in a June visit to my AD.
Adrian, enjoyed the photographs. What camera setup are you using?
Love the extra pop of interest from the riveted bracelet. Really differentiates it from the more common oyster.
I think you’ve nailed how to do a video... best watch channel!
Please continue to make more videos in this style! It’s more dynamic and sets the channel apart
Excellent content and production quality.
I tried this one today on the 5 link jubilee style bracelet. What a watch, it’s so good. Fit’s beautifully on 6.75 inch wrist without looking too big. The dial is so good, a slightly sunburst dial, with outstanding legibility because of the big hands and perfectly proportioned hour hands. I was blown away. It’s the modern vintage looking Tudor no-date sub you want. Also a strap monster
Awesome video, I recently bought this watch and would love to put the B&J Nato on it, it’s 21mm correct ?
Absolutely chuffed to see you returning to your best video game! This is amazing 🙌 what’s this year's ice cave? I’m still waiting for the director’s cut, btw
It's because of this type of videos that I follow this account. Thanks for your job.
Great production quality. Would love a video on your overall photography setup, cameras, techniques etc…
I got this watch last Friday. It’s amazing.
Been looking forward to this one!
This video is gorgeous! Excellent work!
Really enjoyed the video, fun, format
Fantastic looking video, B&J team! I think I’m seeing a polarizing filter here - is this a new lens/camera?
I seen this watch in the flesh and it surprisingly impressed me. I would avoid the riveted bracelet and buy the jubilee. What I realized is that all my favorite Tudor watches do not have faux patina. This new watch genuinely makes a Submariner look very expensive.
Now we’re talking! This is Bark & Jack. Excellent photography/videography. Great review. And, the obligatory plug for the straps. Love it. My only quibble is that I don’t think you mentioned price which I think is relevant b/c you are getting a ton of watch of the money.
that's a nice one a change of scenery. Nice video
Getting out of the studio is a perfect idea. What a fantastic location buddy.
I would have liked a comparison of the fake rivet bracelet vs. the jubilee style one...I hate fake rivets and I'm thinking the jubilee bracelet also adds a little personality to the watch.
I tried on both, oyster and jubilee. Jubilee definitely takes this watch next level. Funny thing is, side by side, burgundy smoked the monochrome. IMO
Nice day out in the Lake District.
Absolutely beautiful video,.. setup, surroundings etc… works so well 😁 and agree with you on the “bestsellers are often boring”, or we could call them neutral, that’s also what makes them work, and people don’t grow tired of the look over the years. I’ve got a black seamaster, and sometimes I would love that it didn’t have the “ red parts”… because monochrome is just a heck of a lot easier to pair with different straps and outfits.
Like this Black Bay, even though I would like it even more with 20mm lugs, just got a lot more of those.
Is there any difference than the last year model? Cause I really like the red bezel.
This is exactly what I’ve wanted from Black Bay. A monochrome entry in the 41mm size.
Great video - nicely presented and shot - love the mono bb41 - it's damned near perfect I think!
Love the location stuff, Adrian👍
Love mamacoo the way you show it! You really focus on showing off the watch. I don't think any other UA-camr can show off watches in as much detail as you.
Thanks. It is said in the video the movement is the very same as in the previous version of the watch but went through METAS certification, is my understanding correct?
What’s the camera you’re carrying and taking the beautiful photos with
Absolutely love the production on this video, Adrian. Can’t wait to see where you take things next! (Or if you keep things the same, it’s great either way)
That's why I got mine on the five link bracelet, it's very nice. The rubber is also much better in person, though not as good as the Oysterflex.
I have wanted this version from Tudor for years.
I like the AeroPress even more than the Tudor. What a masterclass video 👌👌
That mic quality at that location should never go unnoticed
brillaint video! More of this please! Will you get the new Black Bay GMT 58 for review?
