When you only loosen the speed limiter bolt it gives you full throttle, but you are still governed and can only go as fast as the governor allows. By bypassing it you get full throttle ungoverned to hit speeds of 32+ mph depending on your weight.
Do you need a stock replacement jack shaft or the one I upgraded too. Mine is a pieced together kit, you buy separate keyed 5/8" shaft and cut to fit, bearings to fit it, mini hub and #35 chain sprocket, 415 chain 10 tooth drive sprocket, and keeper collars.
Thanks Alejandro, I used the stock Phatmoto seat post turned upside in the seat post tube. I then drilled a hole through the outside seat post tube and the post. I then squeezed the seat bracket closer together then just put a bolt through it.
@@beaubrummelmotorizedbicycles That was exactly what I had in mind with the limited pictures I've seen for the seats mounting brackets. Thank you for confirming that I was on the right track! I'm doing more of a board track Racer look with my bike. This type of seat with the springs really completes the look without having to spend $400 on an authentic board track racer leather seat.
You can usually find them on Amazon or Ebay, if your clutch to jack shaft is a #35, you can get that from most go kart supply places like gopowersports.com bmikarts.com ombwarehouse.com Good quality race chains are a very good upgrade.
Where did you get calipers bracket from? I have same year and also converted rear brakes to a 203 mm rotor but didn't like brake adapter that I got. It has failed and have to easy out rotor screws and re tap Did the 220 mm work good for you.? Appreciate any Help
Yes the 220 mm is working good. The 255 mm is the best because it allows for the most clearance. The bracket I bought on eBay, its an American made one, cost was $12, I don't have the link, The cheap ones from China are that cheaper pot metal, not real steel so they can crack and fail. Look hard for a quality one, the seller I got it from is no longer around.
nice where did you get the seat that is sweet
On Amazon on sale for about $30+, the shock was $39 on sale also. A little fabrication and presto 'bobber" seat.
That thing is frickin sick❤
Nice work.
Love you stuff
Thanks for watching....
Why did you bypass the governor when you can just loosen the bolt?

Hi Beau, nice job. How did you mount the front of the Bobber seat to the traditional bicycle seatpost?

Sexy. Love those "night rider" still lights under the seat. Good job with that single spring seat mount too!
Looking good.
