I love my Rover. I have almost two thousand miles on 23'. My stock Lifan tops out at 37 miles per hour with 44 tooth sprocket, governor delete, at 4600 ft elevation. The larger engine upgrade looks tempting. Thanks for sharing.
@@EmetSheker Gov delete is easy and well worth it. With a belt kit, it will never over rev. Just don't stand on throttle for long periods with stock jackshaft/sprockets. Belt drive is much better than stock.

Im in ft myers. So i ordered my matt green all terrain on the 18th of last month. Got the motor and the bike vanished in transit. I only recently finally got someone with phatmoto to return my email and messages so they are supposed to be shipping one out today. I plan on making a hobby of this but totally green. Would you be open to a couple minute video chat when it arrives' just set me in the right direction? Also i was thinking about getting quarter inch Rubber washers to use as shock absorptionfor the motor@MJTechChannel

I think the stock engine is the best option. I had a 224cc on mine for about one week and put it back to stock but I didn’t have to do any modifications to the frame to put the 224cc but 212cc /98cc are to big and heavy plus the engine it comes with has good power. I’ve got the stock engine turned it and it’s just as powerful as my 98cc on my other bike. So just leave it stock and tune it.
Have you tried the torque converter conversion from Go Power Sports that is a jackshaft replacement? It will be another experiment to get the best teeth/gear sizes for best torque and top speed. Thanks
I just ordered one and I didnt received the arrival date, and tbis company doesnt have an 800 #, and they wont answer my e-mail, I know theyre going out of bussines and Im worried..
The 212cc preds being unsafe is due to the significant increase in torque, no? Couldn't you just gear it to prioritize top end speed, be careful about not driving it too fast, and it would be fine?
There are still many issues with electric bikes.. specifically the batteries needing replaced (not cheap), they're not able to be fixed if they break, and they're more than double the cost for one that goes half as fast

They make like 5-6 hp stock. Get a Tillotson from Gopowersports or a Build a 212 for Cheap a stage 3 would make an Awesome motor for this build..

Phatmoto dont make any frames out of steel do they? I dont think that aluminum frame will like my trailer.
I was intended on putting a Honda gx motor on mine. Don't have it anymore though.
youre going to need a 3D printed chain cover that's not acceptable from safety side. The sprocket can rip your thigh open.
