i bet you could connect the sawmills stator output from the battery to the dc charging port on the power station and when you were running sawmill you would also be charging the station at least offsetting the current load on the station. In my woodshed I have an electric start splitter and it runs two 12v flood lights in the shed while engine is running.
Good review, yes the LED work/barn lights are great and draw very little. I use the double bulb which are very bright allowing 4 to link together. Could you add another solar panel on the roof to offer more input? Cannot wait to see which tractor you selected.
Lucas, make sure that you go to the doctor before the delivery of your piece of new equipment arrives. You’ll need a prescription for muscle relaxers to get the grin off of your face from the excitement. Enjoy it when it arrives, you’ve earned it. Great video and diverse content. Thank you.
I hope that you have better luck with your EBL than I had with my EBL 1000. The AC port burnt up the cable end. I got another from EBL but come to find out the port itself was now no good. I only charge it now by solar with the Anderson connector port. (Of which the owners manual says nothing). Regards
Man, I hate to hear that. I will share if I have a failure. These units of any brand don’t seem to be as reliable as they need to be for the price. I am hopeful that we have good luck from this one.
Mom is moving and wants me to take a 4patriots 2000X generator - *not an impressive unit, especially at that price point - but gonna do what you've done, put it at the mill, see how it can help. Looking forward to seeing more info on the unit you've got now - the last didn't inspire, lol ;-)
Yes, I try to keep it real. I don’t want to promote something that is junk. So far this unit is a major improvement. I will keep everyone posted on how it holds up.
I bought all my equipment for a solar setup for my sawmill shed. But I have not installed it because I have concern for something going wrong and starting a fire. Do you have concerns for your setup? I have considered installing in separate areas about 30 feet from shed and then running line over to shed. Thanks
I really haven’t been too concerned about that. I have one in my cabin, one in my shed, and one in my house. If they are that dangerous say a prayer for me please! I did have one act like it was malfunctioning when I tried to charge it and I took it out to the barn until I could get it replaced under warranty. What system did you go with?
Yeah so this current setup takes 3 days of sun to fully recharge this unit from dead. However, I can spend an evening working up there and only use 15% battery so it is working. It would be nice to have more panels eventually….
I typically only use it for about 15-20% so it will recover for the next day, but if I run it completely down and know I don’t have 3 days of sunlight to charge it back up, I unhook it and take it down to the house and charge it overnight. It will charge in just a few hours plugged in.

I need something like that for my equipment shed. Now you got me thinking. God bless.
They really are super handy. Just not cheap…
Thanks Lucas. Blessings
Thank you!

That’s brilliant! I may need to look into that. 👊

Good morning Lucas
Good morning!
I'm not sure if you mentioned it. What size Watt solar panel do you use?

What system did you go with?
@ victron solar charger with 360w solar panel. Using 12v lighting without inverter. I may add 110v inverter later.
I been lookin at them but there are pricey what size solar panel are you using.
I have a 200W panel on this one and it takes three days of sunlight to charge this unit from empty.
Lucas. I what type of work do you do to make a living and get off around 3 PM? I enjoy every one of you videos and I see that you enjoy doing them.
Yeah I go in early. It’s a real blessing!
Looks like you might need more solar panels.

Lucas, how do you charge your Generator when the sun just isn’t enough?

Are you going too Equip Exposition This Year?
Sure am!
