This is so lovely! Please tell us if Dead Soft or Half Hard wire was used in both 18 Gauge and 26 Gauge? Looks like Round wire too? Its a good ideal that you showed the finished design top left corner of screen during the process, for referral. Loved this necklace! So easy to make. Incredible that you made everything by hand, so creative!
I ended up annealing the piece in order to get the left hand wires through to the right. It worked out pretty good for me! Thank you so much for your tutorials - I love them!!!
I had a heck of a time trying to do this with 18 gauge deadsoft wire. So I tried it with 20 gauge wire and it was a little easier to do. I love this technique and just wanted to say thank you for sharing!

Beautiful! Probably not a project for a newbie, esp. a newbie with arthritis in my hands. Still appreciate the tutorial. I could probably make this knot with leather cording, a much softer material. TFS!
Thanks Michelle! This knot isn't too difficult, but the wire can take some 'persuasion'! I'd definitely start with the savoy knot and see how you go with that first. As before, moving down to 0.8mm wire will make it a bit easier, as will making the knot a bit larger, but yes, it would look great in cord!
Thank you! I use pure, bare copper for these videos, which tends to be a little softer than the plated or coated wire. For this knot, I used 1mm diameter wire (18 gauge) but I think 0.8mm (20 gauge) should work too.
Love this design, but instead of just plain jump rings between sections how about small coils with loops each end? Simple to do and adds another interesting wire element!

Hi Annette, I used 18 gauge for the knot - although you could use 19 or 20 gauge. And the wire for the chain is 26 gauge, but I chose that to go through the beads, so you could adjust it depending on the beads you use and their hole size.
