Very lovely knot design! You could make a chain too, if you turned the knot loops straight instead of to the sides. I'm going to try this out for a chain design. I love it! Its hard to find chunky copper chains for pendants, this one is a beauty, especially with the crisp edges of the square wire. Thanks Theresa! Great stuff. I think to measure out my wires, I will make a mock version with string or plastic tubing.
You're instructions are simple to follow what looks complicated upon first viewing! Very well done tutorial. Looking forward to seeing more. Thank you for sharing.
I AGREE! You make it look so easy :-) and thank you for not talking too loudly or keeping up constant useless chatter. It's relaxing and pleasant to watch!
God love ya! You make it look Sooooo easy....I’m like I can do this! Then epic fail😆 put I will keep trying your a wonderful teacher thank you so much for sharing💕
I love your designs and appreciate that your explanations are easy to follow. I’m anxious to try this design to make a bracelet. I enjoy listening to your videos, your voice is gentle and relaxing 😊 Thank you so much.
Wow that is absolutely beautiful Lily! Thank you for sharing your beautiful jewelry and talent with us! May you be blessed with much, much success! Subscribed!
Great tutorial. Some things went a little fast for me so I had to pause. It’s a beautiful project and I’m going to do my best to make it. Thank you for the inspiration
All idols and images of God need to be made only with refreshed faces and redesigned! From 2022, there will be only one face of God for all caste and religion idols (commandment)! Woe to all disobedient creatures!
Your jewellery is so beautiful yet very simple to do, I have been looking for a site like yours, I will certainly be having a go at these many thanks Debbie Marsh
Gorgeous! Great tutorial! Looks a bit beyond what I'll be able to do with the arthritis in my hands since a lot of the wire manipulation of the main elements are done by hand without pliers. But maybe I can do a few at a time and take a few days to make it. TFS!
Thanks Michelle! You might be able to use pliers to manipulate the wire instead, and you could try using 0.8mm diameter wire rather than 1mm, which should be a bit softer and easier to shape. I hope it works for you!
H. Love your videos. For those of us ‘across the pond’, can you also possibly give us the actual wire gauge in your materials section? , We don’t usually reference wire in mm, so much as wire gauge, so that 1mm wire is 18g wire, etc. Otherwise I’m having to hunt around to find out what gauge wire to use. Thx so much!
Hi Teresa, we can't buy liver of sulphur in Ireland, and as it is deemed a hazardous material, suppliers won't ship here. do you know of any alternative to oxidise the copper please? Love all your tutorials, thanks for sharing x
Thanks Savenana! There is a way to patina without liver of sulphur - using eggs! I've just uploaded a video about it at ua-cam.com/video/oxke7NLlFW4/v-deo.html 😃
I like your jewelry very much, but I don't know how to use your English measurements to turn them into American measurements. Can you please tell us Americans measurements too
Sorry about that. I do include wire gauges in my newer videos, and will add them to the descriptions for my older vids when I get a bit of time. For lengths, it's a bit more difficult as inch increments are not quite as accurate as millimetres, but if you need a rough guide, divide centimetres by 2.5 to get inches. And for the wire weaving, the reason you'll hear me quote 1.5 metres of weaving wire a lot is because it is a full arms width (both arms outstretched) for me - and yes, this is how I measure it! 😄
¡Gracias!
I believe that 1mm wire is the equivalent of 18 gauge, and 0.9mm wire is 19 gauge. I have a wire conversion chart for reference on my blog at www.createwithcopper.co.uk/single-post/2016/09/14/Wire-basics . I hope that helps!
Hi Vickie, I tend to get my wire as dead soft, then work harden as necessary. For this particular piece, softer is better as you can make a tighter knot with it. If you then want the links to be a bit harder, you can hammer the knots lightly once made.
Simply GORGEOUS!!!. I love it. 🙏🏼❤️

Muy bonito todo pero también te vemos en México por favor traducción o subtitulo y medidas por escrito gracias 🙂😉
This is really beautiful, if you where to sell something like this what would it cost? Do you have to patina it?
Great tutorial. Some things went a little fast for me so I had to pause. It’s a beautiful project and I’m going to do my best to make it. Thank you for the inspiration

are you using a bare or coated copper wire?

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This is beautiful! Can 20 gauge wire be used instead of 18 gauge (1mm)? Or do you need the 1mm to make the knot stay together correctly?

Buenos días saludos desde Puerto Rico. Me suscribo a su canal pues me encantó su trabajo. Gracias
I love your design, however that clasp doesn't do this lovely work justice, I would rather something more sturdy.

Beautiful bracelet. Nice work
Beautiful bracelet! Thank you!
Really pretty..thank you.
hola, me acabo de encontrar sus videos y están hermosos, quisiera saber como hace para que el alambre no se ponga oscuro, gracias :-)

Lily tree, can you tell me the wire conversion in American gauges. Love all your work. what would be 1mm diameter and 0.9mm diameter.

Love your teaching style! Thanks from a newly minted wire fanatic!
Thank you! In case you haven't realised yet - wire is addictive!
I'm having trouble accessing your website.....is it just me?
Hi Manta, it seems to be working okay for me now, but please let me know if you're still having problems.
Oh! I love this!
very clever. thanks for the inspiration.
Thank you, I'm glad you like it!
Is your wire half hard?
Hi Vickie, I tend to get my wire as dead soft, then work harden as necessary. For this particular piece, softer is better as you can make a tighter knot with it. If you then want the links to be a bit harder, you can hammer the knots lightly once made.
This is an exceptional design. Well done!
Thank you Rebecca! 😊

I love the bracelets but I can’t help to look at all wire waist to make this bracelet ☹️. This won’t be on my to do list.
