I've been looking for a nice easy Celtic design for earrings, my son and daughter were born in Ireland and I want to make something for their birthdays myself and this is just perfect!!! 😊
I have spent a lot of time on your channel and have now subscribed so I don't miss anything. As you will see from my posts today I have been trying several of your designs and this celtic knot design is so verastile - I love it. Thank you
Thanks for the great video! My first attempt wasn't perfect, but I did make a complete pair of earrings. I used colored wire, so I made a pair of knotted headpins from 26 gauge wire to match my knots. I will continue to practice and then attempt the matching chain video you posted. Your clear video gave me the confidence to attempt this project--thanks!
These are so cool! Celtic knots are wonderful. Your earrings match exactly in size & shape, you are so clever. What beautiful looking pieces. The only part I would change is to have a hook ear wire but that's personal taste. I always struggle to attach them so earring hangs right way (how dumb am I?). Saving this for future as I'd really like to try making a pair. I've only recently gone from "traditional" jewellery makes i.e. using findings for every part, to wrapping. It's not as easy as I thought but the results are much more of an achievement (imho). I notice from looking through yr videos, you do a lot of weaving, macrami, kumihimo etc. I am not into that as too much patience & talent needed. However, I'm still subscribing for when you do wrapping. Tfs & inspiring. C😊
Hi there Christina! Long time still commenting haha. I'm loving trying to get into jewellery making, but it's all very confusing.. Especially when it comes to the wire? I followed your link, but still, there are many different ones! And some will say hard or dead soft? I'd love to try these, but which is the actual wire I need to make them? Thanks in advance, loving your tutorials and thank you for sharing your knowledge x
You are amazing! I'm a beginner but it seems to me that I can do it too:-) Thank you very much. I'm definitely gonna make Celtic knot earrings. Just want to watch more of your videos to decide what to make first:-) Do you have somewhat videos how to make easy earrings in the ancient Greek style without or with somewhat gemstones or beads? As you understand I want to learn wirework on something easy first:-)
+Nuova Luce Thank you so much. I'm really glad to hear that. I don't think I have any Greek style earrings, but it is definitely something I can keep in mind, to do that style in the future :-)
Really pretty. Do you always make 2 left (or 2 right) earrings instead of a matched set? In other words, you never do mirror image? I know you have to put some thought into making them mirror image, but I NEVER wear earrings that aren't mirror image.
Not always, but most of the time, because I actually prefer it that way myself. But it really depends on the design. Some earrings do go better one or the other way I think :-)
I just tried to make a reverse of one. Dead difficult. I thought I could do it easily because I can write almost as easy backwards as I can forwards. Making these mirror image was not so easy. Your wire always seems a little stiffer than mine and I'm using the proper gauge you suggest. Wonder if the difference is in the wire itself. Mine came from Hobby Lobby.
awesome tutorial i will be making these earings loving your work :) im just a beginner but i find your work easy enough to follow:) fabulous pieces and will make lots of stuff from your range :) xxx
Hi I really like your tutorial just one question what type of 6mm bead did you use and where can I buy them,I want to make a gift for someone. Thanks Mike
+mnoona quebec Thank you very much. They are purple coated hematite and I think these ones were from www.jewellerymaker.com but you should be able to get hematite in quite a few places :-)
Sorry I have been.asking a lot of questions but this is an important one. Is stainless steel (NOT SURGICAL STAINLESS STEEL) safe to use for earrings findings and parts. On another note, it goes great with this bracelet ( m.ua-cam.com/video/RoEelDwyXO0/v-deo.html&itct=CAwQpDAYCCITCPCLp5WD8MUCFdVQTgodT24AvDIHcmVsYXRlZEilsrSr6_mVi8kB ) by Jocelyn D.
mudpie gaming No problem :-) Stainless steel is used quite often in jewellery actually, and is said to be safe quite a safe one to use also allergy wise, but obviously it is always individual so nothing is 100% safe for everyone, but it shouldn't cause too many problem I would think. Yeah they certainly do. And then maybe if using the same type/colour of beads it would work even better :-)
I always enjoy your videos, you do such a great job explaining ! Keep up the great work
i love those earrings. They are simple but so pretty. Thanks again for making such an easy tutorial!!!

Thank you for the information. I would have tested it on myself but I literally can't seeing as I am a guy without ear piercings
