Oh my goodness. What a beautiful color of leather!! I love your choice to show us the thinnest of trim. HELLO MY FRIEND!!! How are you Cesar?? I hope you and your familia are doing well and are healthy and happy. I am STILL struggling with my machines. Lol. I brought 2 of them to a local repair man and paid a pretty penny to end up with 2 machines that are still not timed properly, and came home with more issues than they left with. But I am driving the bug! And I have figured out my painful life lesson is....PATIENTS!!! It is so good to see your hands. 💕 you warm my heart. Best wishes to you and the whole family. Your friend, Lynn

A steel nail or rod, sharpened to a point, chucked in a slow electric drill, will make short easy work of holes, even in tough materials. It’s far easier than shoving an awl through. I’ve used it in 1/4” shoe sole material. Being leather, the holes close neatly around the thread or cord after stitching.

Dear Dan, Those are right or left side sewing guide presser feet. Most of them are for triple transport sewing machines.
I first did an adaptation (a Consew regular foot for my Pfaff 1245) to find out how useful they are: ua-cam.com/video/4fJWg-g_x7w/v-deo.html
After verifying the usefulness, then I bought two of them. One for the Pfaff 1245 and one for the Durkopp&Adler 767

Interesting question! If the surface would have been thoroughly flat, consequently the mold would have been only one with straight channels.
I had to do it in four parts, because the surface is irregular. As we can see the first 10 channels/pleats are straight. The others have a slight curve.
If I would have done all the channels straight the upper part would have suffered an excessive stretching.
