This version of Dusty Springfield's original hit is a lot different, yet completely faithful to it at the same time. Not an easy thing to do, yet they did it, and did so wonderfully!! :-)
It looks like they were having the times of their lives, but you would've never imagined they were going through hell behind the scenes with their manager. Truly sad ending to a pretty good rock group. I still love to go back & remember those great days when I was just in grade school in the 70's. God bless them all!

Rest in peace ian condolences to your loved ones thank you so much for the music and the memories
I was a Bay City Rollers fan when I was a kid. I actually did like the music and watched the TV show too.
I love these guys I so miss the old days ❤❤❤❤❤
Scotsmen are very handsome 😉🏴
This is an amazing rendition of this song!
This was played at our roller skating rink every Saturday night 😊
RIP Les ! You and your band colleagues made my teen years happy !!
Been a Bay City Rollers fan since 1975 age 19 ! They were a awesome 60s band !
Not 60s,70s.
@@ZZ24AS I know they are a 70 s band just made a eorr on my computer sorry meant to say 70 s no t 60 s
@@pattibrooks1907 They would have been a great 60s band, in the 60s!
Just the same as me!!
62 here-about to be 63 come January 1st! Yes-I am a New Year's Baby! Stil love them and their music!!
This version of Dusty Springfield's original hit is a lot different, yet completely faithful to it at the same time. Not an easy thing to do, yet they did it, and did so wonderfully!! :-)
yes Rob this is the best cover of Dusty's first hit. Easily. This is the best thing the BCRs did. Les McKeown a very good vocalist.
not easy? seriously??
@@johntate5722 average at best.... his voice is also flooded with chorus and reverb
Can u explain that mr radish...i'm a dimbo on things technical in music
Just to add i've listened again and there's a kind of effect as if he's singing inside a box
RIP . I love that band . When I was 8 years old I was listening them all time .
Feel good times …. Happy times 🤘
I was only 17 in 1976, when this song was in the top 10 hits in all the continents!!!
What a phenomenon you guys were
RIP Les💐💐
Your music was so much of my teenage life
I was in the 5th grade when i heard them on the radio . Fell in love . My first crush . ❤.
My first record ever ("Greatest Hits"). Leslie, you will never be forgotten!
It looks like they were having the times of their lives, but you would've never imagined they were going through hell behind the scenes with their manager. Truly sad ending to a pretty good rock group. I still love to go back & remember those great days when I was just in grade school in the 70's. God bless them all!
So dam sad that they should have been living the dream that manager ripped them off big time and a big pervert
Fantastic memories of my childhood.
RIP Les. I loved the Rollers when I was a kid. Great band.
I can't believe I was so IN LOVE with these guys. I would stay up to watch whatever show they were on or stay home sick from school just to see them. I had mountains of posters and a huge scrap book of articles on them from Teen Beat, Tiger Beat and Sixteen Magazines.
+Roseanne Pickering I was in love with them too! Had posters and every issue of 16 magazine. I loved Leslie, Eric and Ian.
we were all stupid when we were young AMEN REV NORMAN VAIL 8285590716
I did the same with NSYNC! And would’ve done it with this guys too!💌
Me too Roseanne, lol.
Sounds like you were just a normal teen girl. Perfectly natural to be "in love " with the music stars of your time. I was a 16 year old teen boy in 1975 and thought that led zeppelin was a near religion..lol. Still love the music, but in the end it's just a band
レスリー懐かしいな。歌声はいつまでも!You will be missed! RIP Leslie
Great 70’s group. RIP Les
