Dear Rabir and Imtiaz please continue to make amazing film. I thought Tamasha was your best. I watched it back to back three times. Please market your movie well to make it international theatre and I tunes etc.
Such a matured and intellectual conversation between ranbir-imtiaz. Imtiaz addressing ranbir by saying sir, this shows how much respect he gives to his actor even after being a director.
If they launched Tamasha on the international level in different languages then tamasha would be bigger hit than rockstar and jab we met.. just love the tamasha and it's narration
why cant we have a hour or more of this conversation!!!... such casual genuine conversations are great to watch where not the star but the person behind the star is talking.........such a great concept....hope to see more of these and hope they are longer.....felt like was lost in time and didnt realize how quickly the video ended
+varun ozarkar Thanks Varun - I’m always being told about the super-short attention spans on YT and how no one watches anything longer than 3 minutes. Clearly you’re not one of them :) - Anupama
+Film Companion Yes, even I agree with Varun, we love this concept Anupama and would like to see much more of these conversations in future too:)) Great work and thanks for sharing here..
The boring interviews... the facts... yes please not more than ten minutes... but something like imtiaz ali and ranbir... its adds far more than just another knowledge bit... and u might not believe... but it stays with you.... btw thanks fa this....:)
Very different from any other thing I have seen. They are having a very real conversation, probably after a few minutes, they are oblivious of the cameras. Nice.
Seeing this makes me understand how a gem like Tamasha came out of this director-actor collaboration. Frank, Insightful and conversational - this was a joy to watch.
Ranbir and Imtiaz equal masterpiece! Ranbir is my favourite actor and I love hearing them both talk they seem to have an amazing connection which shows of on films I can listen to them talk for hours on end!
Yes and dear have u saw that scene when ranbir was receiving the best actor for Sanju movie and before receiving that award imtiaz stood up and came to him hugged him for a minute.. that was phenomenal to watch ..must see it
Aaj 20-10-2019 ko Imtiaz sir se Jaipur me milna vo bhi chai ki thadi pe it's like Dream come true. He is so humble and down to earth , i can't imagine. 40-45 minutes are like 45 seconds
I am lucky to be alive where I get to see Ranbir's films! He's amazing and my favourite ❤ and I agree with Ranbir rockstar is literally perfect for me and I loved Bombay Velvet it was amazing for me and his chemistry with Anushka was one of the best I've ever seen!
100% agree with Imtiaz.. after Jordan meets Nargis in the second half, the film really has nothing to say. It becomes a redundant bore. I'm so happy that Imtiaz realizes that. I don't dislike Rockstar, I just thought it could've been a classic if there were more story arcs in the second half because as Jordan is walking into his own rot, the film starts to rot.
Rockstar was about the passion..even though that passion lead to self destruction. Character of JJ was a flawed one, the movie would have been so bland if it had a perfect ending...the reason we all loved the movie is because it leaves us wanting more.
Ranbir look very curious to know about lyf he seems very fragile and want learn or seeking about himself by other.. He is a good humen being with lots of emotions, i knkw somebody like him..
I enjoy every Ranbir and Imtiaz Ali video of them interviewing each other. The way the speak is so calm and engaging, I could watch them all day! Rk and Imtiaz should host a show about movies, it will be simply amazing!
We need more of these conversation which allow us to understand the depths of film makers and everybody else involved in their journey. Helps us understand films better, watch them in a new light. A film is not done and dusted as soon as it's out of theaters, it has an existence of perpetuity. These conversations, help us revisit a movie with different perspectives or notice background circumstances evolving into a new and wonderful experience of watching it again. Thank you anupama. Love this concept of film reporting.
I recently got married. I agree with Imitiaz Ali's POV. I am married only 'cos I love my spouse a lot and nothing feels like work to me. I only hope my husband feels the same way about me. I do feel loved. Thank god for that. I liked the conversation about failure too. I left my job at a MNC 'cos I had to relocate post my marriage. I am experiencing a lot of rejection wrt jobs and I have experienced lot of rejection before as well. Everytime you feel this is it. This is the most you have to suffer but it doesn't end. I keep trying and trying. Upside is that my husband takes really good care of me. I am a simple person and don't really demand much.
Such conversations are treat to watch, cause they come across genuine. There will always be audience for such talks and for them you should extend time. Even totally enjoyed your conversation with imtiaz unfiltered... it was just awesome. Would love to see more such conversation . Thank you for such initiatives.
My favourite duo .. & fav trio wen A.R Rahman comes into the picture .. and would be amazing to see Alia bhatt joining .. n see the whole club together some time.
I find myself coming back to the video for many reasons as both people are true and vulnerable enough to stir emotions on the other side of screen. I feel a connect towards both of these, and the "capacity to endure tumult" is what titillated me. It's and interesting subject to dwell and if possible I would like to ask Imtiaz which books should I read to understand the idea better. Thanks.
Dear ImtiazJi, just wanna ask u one question : how does it feels when after working with probably the best actor of his generation ( Ranbir, of course) u suddenly drop ur standards and work with an absolute joker ( Kartik Aryan).
I really wants to know that in Tamsha the character of Tara was the real person or she was just consciousness of Vaid? I think she wasn't really a real person.
I could hear Ranbir and Imtiaz discuss bollywood/life/movies all day and not get bored!
+barliman butterbur oh fuck off

Aneesha Singh same feelings

End of Ranbir Vs Ranveer Drama! If someone asks who is the best actor of this generation then show this conversation. Period!
After Animal - Is there any confusion bro?😅
Obviously Ranbir suprassed many GREAT actors toh ranveer kya cheez hai?
Jagga is there to, person with speech impediment yet so expressive without mocking it

Rockstar is perfect, the public is not ready for that in 2011
I can't help think Ranbir wore Jordan sneakers for this interview as an inside joke XD
