Imtiaz made a great point when he told alia not to exhaust herself. Actors who have kept a short selective filmography have saved something for each movie, giving their best. Hollywood has it, with most of the actors like DDL and dicaprio doing selective films. As a result, every year a different actor chips up with his or her work, some year a mcgonoughey, or hugh jackman and that trasforms the industry into a pool of amazing talent each year. Aamir has adopted that here, more actors should do that, give audience time to forget your last project when they see your next, so that they see the character not the actor. Srk had this romantic lover image going for him so much in the 90s 2000s starting from ddlj, dtph, kkhh, k3g, devdas, mhn, veerzara that when he actually showcased his true talent in swades, people instead rooted for the love story between him and the teacher which was not the actual plot of the film and the film failed! Even bacchan's image took time to loose that angry young man persona from evry 70s-80s film. Alia and ranbir have been going good so far! Hope they dont create that *image* and continue to bring out different characters.
His father's illness made him depressed... And if u say about his look then it's Shamshera movie look for what he has gained weight and had to work in rough weather which is new for an actor like him who didn’t need physical hardworking for his previous movies..
