Im honestly so tired of hearing people say they feel "unsafe in X community" You know what I do if I feel unsafe or unwelcome in a streamer's chat/community? I unfollow, close the tab, leave the discord, and move on with my life. It REALLY is not that big of a deal. People are acting like a streamer's chat/community is their local town they live in and that they can no longer leave the house without feeling unsafe. Pure mental illness.

I'm trans, and I wanna say I'm sorry for that part of the group. I got harassed and blocked by someone I thought was a friend when I just tried to understand their reasoning for supporting people who doxxed and threatened people who played hogwarts legacy. My group and I did find it hilarious that she blocked me after I mentioned things that were more related to her that they should cancel, but didn't. But yeah, all I asked was "what about people who support trans rights, but grew up loving Harry Potter? Or those who bought it and are using it to raise money for trans charities?" She didn't like that in the slightest. After she blocked me, she began getting messages from an account with a similar username to mine which started insulting her. So... wether that's a troll or her trying to make me look worse by using a fake account, I don't know. But still, as a trans woman who's playing the game, I say go ham and don't let those idiots slow you down!

She is a vtuber who streams 2-4 hours every other day, yet he streams only get double digit views. her official UA-cam channel only has double digit subscribers, her vods and clips only get single and double digit views. she is hyperactive on Twitter... all signs that her hateful and ignorant post about Silvervale was not a once off. imagine how hard it is to get those kinda numbers with as often she is online engaging her audience. put it this way... this video we just watch got more views than ALL of her UA-cam and Twitch videos combined

I don't watch vtubers very often, but I've followed Silvervale everywhere I have an account, because she deserves all the backing she can get for standing up to the mob. I'm trans, and I wanna say I'm sorry for that part of the group. I got harassed and blocked by someone I thought was a friend when I just tried to understand their reasoning for supporting people who doxxed and threatened people who played hogwarts legacy. My group and I did find it hilarious that she blocked me after I mentioned things that were more related to her that they should cancel, but didn't. But yeah, all I asked was "what about people who support trans rights, but grew up loving Harry Potter? Or those who bought it and are using it to raise money for trans charities?" She didn't like that in the slightest. After she blocked me, she began getting messages from an account with a similar username to mine which started insulting her. So... wether that's a troll or her trying to make me look worse by using a fake account, I don't know. But still, as a trans woman who's playing the game, I say go ham and don't let those idiots slow you down!

She is a vtuber who streams 2-4 hours every other day, yet he streams only get double digit views. her official UA-cam channel only has double digit subscribers, her vods and clips only get single and double digit views. she is hyperactive on Twitter... all signs that her hateful and ignorant post about Silvervale was not a once off. imagine how hard it is to get those kinda numbers with as often she is online engaging her audience. put it this way... this video we just watch got more views than ALL of her UA-cam and Twitch videos combined

Frankly, people are much more likely to read some wild take about how 'Hogwarts Legacy promotes Antisemetic, Homophobic, Transgender-Genocide' (paraphrasing that from a comment 17 hours ago), without coming to niche regions of the internet like this one to get something resembling context.
EDIT: I mean, looking at the total views|dislikes ratio, it's not even close. The supermajority of people who watch Babish don't like, dislike or comment. I can guarantee that almost no-one on this platform spares any thought-routines for JK Rowling or 'That Wizard Game'.
I just disagree with your hopeful suggestion that this nonsense is limited to the VTuber community and friends. Other streamers have certainly been affected by roving bands of antis, and these aforementioned maniacs tell their friends, who tell their friends and it spreads until at 5 degrees of separation the only thing anyone knows about this game is that it's the work of the antichrist.
A majority of the people harrassing her are trans activists and such, it's going to be a given that her mods (yes not her, her mods) are going to be on guard and swing their sword on any hint of it considering the situation. It's like how you get tested when you suspect you have covid, rather then waiting for heavy symptoms or being half dead.

I don't watch vtubers very often, but I've followed Silvervale everywhere I have an account, because she deserves all the backing she can get for standing up to the mob.
Plus, a woman who is self assured enough to stand in front of a crowd with pitchforks and tell them to F themselves is sexy as hell.
SO BY THEIR LOGIC they believe that if you buy or use something someone creates than you must share the same opinion as the creator. I would hope these people understand how stupid that is. For example every time they turn their PC or laptop on. They must agree it's fine for certain manufacturer's to abuse their workforce OR that when they watch a film they're totally ok with the film staff assaulting other film staff. I think I've seen goldfish with more brain power than they have.

The thing is, kids are more adult... a lot of the time, except for the times they're exactly like this. And adults... just have fewer times they're exactly like this simply because there's more distractions caused by the need for continued survival. What we're seeing is everybody having a bad or troll moment seeing the same potential target. And this isn't the schoolyard; most of this type of bullying is the kind where just ignoring the bullies is the most practical option.
