I'm trans with gender dysphoria (dysmorphia), and I just want to be who I am. Not upset or worry anyone. The issue nowadays is that many who will never know dysphoria who don't deal with that chemical mental breakup are now using actual trans to do stuff like this or all the other issues, just know that that isn't what any actual dysphoric person stands for. People who are bullied when they were kids often end up one of two ways: A) like pikamee who wards off the PTSD/triggers by being jolly and spreading joy whenever possible, or B) lash out at anything remotely triggering. Keep in mind that streaming games were her passion, her connection to the world, and it was taken from her by people who claim to be inclusive, supportive, and understanding of those who are different.

People who are bullied when they were kids often end up one of two ways: A) like pikamee who wards off the PTSD/triggers by being jolly and spreading joy whenever possible, or B) lash out at anything remotely triggering.
The trans-community are likely to be a mix of the kindest people and the most toxic people given the behavioral adaptations of those who grew up bullied. The question then is if they'll self regulate or not, and the clear answer is that they won't. If a trans person speaks up to a trans bully, they'll get bullied out. It's safe to say that the trans community is fucked from the inside.
It's a victory lap; like in a fighting game or a street scrap, they're getting in a few more blows on the defenseless opponent that taste all the sweeter before they move on to the next "fight."

The way in which they instantly think about how this will affect themselves is a demonstration of how they support this issue.
This entire issue has come about because of Transgender (proper noun) being a group identity rather than an individual's description. Hunkering down, being defensive, is simply the other side bullying - they continue to foster the group identity and group think that lead to the hostile behaviour in the first place.
I understand it is necessary to group together for the sake of political activism, if you genuinely are oppressed and need to work towards a goal, but they aren't doing that online. If you need legislation changed you have to write to politicians and actually be seen, Twitter activism is just political masturbation. No doubt they sit on their ass all day and just revel or lament whenever laws are passed in places they don't even live, because they see this like a cultural movement rather than about their individual freedoms.
I would believe that the offending community in question has good aspects to them if they didn't act like this almost every single time. Any goodwill has dried up. They don't deserve the respect people forward to them.

Gaming has always been a safeplace for the bullied and social outcasts. The alphabet people understand the importance of safe spaces and the panic induced by triggers and trauma.
Make no mistake, it was a calculated move. They found pikamee who has had a history of being bullied and used online gaming as a safe space from the bullies IRL. She was someone who has been hurt before, and therefore is kind and unlikely to fight back but also fragile. Then they invaded her safe space. If nothing else, the one thing I know progressives know is how fucked up it is to invade the safespace of someone who has had a history of bullying.
It wasn't to fight transphobia. They could have targeted an actual transphobe but that would be personally dangerous, so they targeted pikamee instaed believing they'd get away with it... and they probably are.
I never really knew Pikamee until I hear that she was leaving(aka Graduating). She really seems like a genuine nice person and is very kind to those around her. And seeing her getting harassed enough to not only stop streaming, but to also getting fired from your own group. People need to snap back to reality and see what they’re doing!! Poor Pikamee😢. Hope we’ll see her again in the near future. She doesn’t deserve anything like this, and neither should anyone😣.
