    INGREDIENTS
    ●215 ml of milk, lukewarm
    ●7 g of instant yeast
    ●35 g sugar
    ●16 g vanilla extract
    ●35 g unsalted butter
    ●400 g sugar
    ●4 g salt
    METHOD
    In a bowl, mix the lukewarm milk with instant yeast, vanilla extract, and sugar let it sit for 10 minutes until slightly frothy.
    Combine melted butter, flour, and salt with the yeast mixture. Mix until a cohesive dough forms.
    Knead the dough for 10-12 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover and allow to rise in a warm area for 1 hour, or until doubled
    On a floured surface, roll out the dough into a rectangle. Cut into 6 or 12 strips with a pizza cutter or knife (for jumbo donuts divide into six)
    Place the strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Let them rise for another 30 minutes, or until puffed up.
    Heat vegetable oil in a pan to 175°C (347°F). Fry the donuts until golden on both sides. Drain on paper towels.
    Roll the donuts in caster sugar and let cool.
    Cut the donuts lengthwise, fill with whipped cream, and gently press to close
