💨 🤠 yey .🏌️🍀I bought a "mint set " 2 months ago and they P and D are Blessed with blocks . thanks again Jedi. I'm on a Roll 🎓 .🕵️🍒
Good hearing on these coins. They were so big, too.
Thank you for your information on the rare coins!!! Have a blessed day because you deserve it!!!
Silverhound, I just picked up a bag of Ike's from the bank (1,000). That's right 1,000. I have yet to search them and yes I will be spending them, poor examples of course, to see the looks I'll get. Thanks for the video!
It's fun to spend obscure coins and see people's reactions! 🙂
Thanks for another great informative video I'm checking my bicentennial mint set's thanks again blue!!!
Awesome info BlueRidgeSilverHound 🥊🥊🥊. Thanks for providing!
Thanks BlueRidge I learned some thing new today .
BlueRidgeSilverhound Great Information on the Ike’s 🎈👍👍
Great timing of video for me. I was in a coin shop 2 days ago and my girlfriend wanted a little mystery coin starter box. Had Indian head cent, some wheat backs, war nickel and such but it had one of these bicentennial icke dollars. I checked and it's a type 1 in AU condition! Thanks for the info
Thanks BlueRidge I do not collect Ike's (at least not yet), so its nice to learn a little about them. I had no idea about the type 1 and type 2 reverses so that was neat to learn. Thanks man keep up the good work. See ya in the next one.
I have both if you want
Yes I having several of those silver 40% very beautiful pieces.
Yes I have a 1971 and a 1776-1976 in very good condition 👍
Thanks, I pick up Ikes from bank when I can. 🙂
My bank teller just sold me at face value 6 of these. 1st in my collection. Great info, thanks! :) GL & HH
I have one of the type 1 had it since 1971. My mom gave it to me when my son was born.. how much did you say it may be worth?
They didnt come out till 76 maby you have an older dollar coin.
Good Video. I HAVE A BUNCH OF THESE!!!!! I USED TO GET 5/10 OF THEM AT A TIME ALONG WITH QUARTERS,WHEN I WENT TO THE BANK IN 76 AND LATER,GUESS I NEED TO LOOK AT THEM!!!!! I ALSO USED TO GET THE 2 DOLLAR BILLS,GOT A BUNCH OF THOSE ALSO,UNCIRCULATED,FRESH AND CRISPY,A LOT OF THEM WITH THE NUMBERS IN SEQUENCE!!!!!
The 1976 Eisenhower Dollars contained in the 1975 Mint Set are the Type 1 version. This variety exhibits thicker style lettering on the reverse design. For the twelve coins included in the set with a face value of $3.82, the US Mint charged $6.00. This remained the same price as the prior year.
I have one it is new
Thank you for the knowledge about the coin
I feel very lucky. I've liked Ike's for a long time and have hundreds of them. Everything from Proofs to Uncirc's and a mixture of Brown and Blue's. I like Ike!
They have to be proof not just any....
May 26-2021, thanks for sharing your knowledge with us.
The Ike dollars and the SBAs are my favorite circulating coins by far.
Interesting - thanks!
I have several of these along with quarters! Interesting!
I never paid attention to coins until cleaning my basement I found a box my mom gave me many years ago before she passed away. This box has very old pennies, half a dollar, dollar coins and one of this big dollar coin you showing on this video. Where can I sell these coins. I am in Western NY. Thanks
Thank You for sharing
I have one uncirculated P type 1 coins sealed… and two uncirculated D type 1 coin never been taken out of the case! Holy moly! I’m so excited!
Like #316! I 💚 IKE! Looking over my complete set in dansco album as i watch! All look great and soon to slab the whole set for the heck of it! Keep Pushin!
Uncirculated Mint Sets sell often just above total face value on the Bay, as I've seen.
Great video friend!
I have one brilliant uncirculated in a cover with no grade block letter would it be worth getting graded it looks pretty good hard to tell through the holder though
I like the silver Ike's I collect them especially the proofs.
Hi Blue Ridge, I remember my grandmother giving me and my sister and brother this Bicentennial dollar. In 1976. I took it and put it in a plastic bag and put put away for safekeeping. I just thought it was special that my grandmother gave it to me. I still have it to this day looking at it I don't think it came out of the Roll. Still in good shape although it does have some tarnishing on it. I would never get rid of this coin. Looking at it it's the type-2. Thanks for bringing back good memories. 😊 Thanks for all the great information.
I have one type 1-thank you for the info.
I have a 1976 and 1972 Eisenhower dollar both mounted in Anson money clip - would it be worth more/less if left in the clip?
I have a coin collection and have several of these, proof, silver clad collector, as well as many in uncirculated condition.
Very Good!..
Just a roll of the uncirculated set of 1974-1978 of these dollar coins from an estate sale. I will have to go back and check the bicentennial ones to see what type they are.
Always look for your channel gives me insides to coins. My son was born 1975 so quarter, halves, and dollars only comes in 76 Bicentials
It comes in silver too !
I have one in a Mintset 1976D Type 1 it has lunar landing marks (as I call it) on the Reverse. Still in original Mint plastic packaging along with the 5 other coins and Definately MS condition. The whole mint set will be graded someday.
My Coin dealer Friend would not part with the 1976P mint set so I purchased only the Denver . Lol. Thanks for the Fantastic info and all you do , you are amount the Top 3 Best!

I have the 1776 D as well. Do you know the value of this coin?
I have a 1776+1976 bicentennial quarter dollar and a half dallor in good condition 7:17
I have a complete 32 coin set, with COA stating this is every Eisenhower dollar the minted, all beautiful UC encapsulated in a mahogany box for display. Should I send in all 8 of the 76's in for grading? Type 1 Type 2 and I've read there's a Type 3 ???... looking at them there's 2 p's , 2 d's , and 4 s's . I have pictures if you want them. Thanks for your thought's in advance!
I got mine at different banks. Now I can only get them from my account bank. Things have changed in Illinois. All I get is do you have an acct. it has to go through the system. Whatever that all means. Before this I was able to get quite a few of them. Thanks for sharing the info. I love those Ike's. All the Best ~ Shirl
Really? There's still a fair number of silver coins in circulation currently that you can simply get by given the bank the face dollar value on the coin and that's that !? That's really really good to know because my mother is the manager at a local branch of M&T bank and I will be giving her a few bucks tomorrow morning for her to trade in to grab and bring home any proper dated silver halves and wholes as well as a few rolls of quarters hoping to maybe come across a few pre 1964 90% Washington's or even who knows maybe a few newer proofed 90% ATB or Statehood and territories quarters , people buy them in mint sets , take them out of their packaging and eventually accidentally mix them up with pocket change and spend them more often than one would think , lol mother works at the bank , I'm get my ass some silver for literally the face value of each coin , wish me luck
@@ericdrisgula3879 I don't have your luck, but I do wish you lots of luck.
I don't sell what I have. I hang on to them and appreciate what I have.
Soon I might be getting into the auctions on UA-cam again. I hope to
get some really good buys at those. Thanks for replying. 🍀🍀
I have a few that I need to check.
I do have some mixed Ike Dollars, but only one 40% Silver coin..I didn't know about these different types..
Hi I was just wondering you didn't mention the proofs or an S mint. I don't know if that's the same thing but I have one in a brown box and was wondering about how much that would be worth?
Oh boy, two dollars for a dollar coin! Gosh really Beaver? That’s just a great deal!! Give me a break
Hey Eddie, I'll give you $2.50 for every one of them you have.
Come on Eddie/wannabe. I'm here to give you a break, and take them off of your hands.
Yes , I have one .
The 1975 United States 🇺🇸 Uncirculated Mint Sets Have Both The Philadelphia & Denver 1776-1976 TYPE 1 Versions In Them ! You Can Pick That Set Up For About $10 Or Less Fairly Easily!
2400 morgans and 5500 peace dollars. Love the older coins
I have an off-struck bicentennial Ike half dollar, about 5-10 % off-struck, do you have any idea on the approximate value?
Wow! Good info. I have a type one in MS-64 condition that was part of an old 20th Century type coin set that my late father and I put together over 40 years ago. It’s for sale, btw.
How much you want , is it with a doubt a 40% silver version because their were copper+nickel clad proofs of these in the mint sets back in the day as well , gotta have that silver ping to it that rings like a bell when struck lightly with another coin
I've got a 76 Eisonhour type 1 by lettering authenticated as
Brilliant Uncirculated no mint mark. It looks gold ish in it's case and has an error on edge between e & r down just past t bout 1/16 in width it has no coating not silver or whatever else materials in it. Appears as tho it was struck then dipped. ?? It's weird. Brilliant Uncirculated. With this flaw on it. I'm confused any chance I could send you photos an get some info and value of this knick knack. Greatly appreciated.
I have same coin sir..where i can sell it???
Awesome video man!! I recently just picked up couple mint sets at my local coin shop and actually found a Type 1 bicentennial Ike. Now I'm definitely going to send it in for grading. Even has beautiful gold tone around the entire coin
I have type 2 1976
Great information, thanks for sharing
So The Liberty Bell and Moon Silver Dollar is The Apollo Creed Silver Dollar From ROCKY.
okay. you made me go and look at my coins and I have a type 1 with an E.
Me too
FYI, I see people paying big for congratulations sets but a congratulation set is that year proof coin with limited packaging, so if anything the packaging is whats worth money
I just got a type one out of a register that I paid a dollar quarters for today sorry I just found out I got the rare one now I'm waiting to see how much I can sell it for
Hey I have a 76 and it’s silver all the way through but there’s no mint mark so what does it mean?
I also have one that appears to be "crying". In fact that's what I call it...a Crying Ike error. Have never seen one like it. Problem is I haven't been able across many sources to get any feedback on what it might be worth.
I have one with the BIG BLOCK LETTERS ON Reverse.
Hi! What is the value of a double die on the Denver versions?
Thank you Shaun for that informative video😊 my first Ike and it's a Bicentennial but Type 2 But still Oh So Cool😎 thanks again Lauren⚘
Oh my I think I have this coin . It definitely does not have a S. I have had his coin encased sitting in my drawer for 30 years. It wasn’t until my son started collecting coins . My question is if it is type II copper clad as opposed to silver clad what is the value?
What about the sms bicentennial silver ike, kennedy and washington quarter, not for circulation. Comes in a red envelope.
Cool.
How about the Bicentennial 40% silver 's' type 1?
I
Have that kind of coin here in the Philippines
What about the type 1 proof?..is it good to send to grade I got 4 coins to send to pcgs I got the gold membership n omg trying to decide which ones to send is driving me crazy
Yes, Type 2, E
I have a few of the type 1 coins.
Yes I have one
I know the man who designed it. DRW. He got the first one off the Philidelpha mint, President Ford got the 2nd one. He gives them out to friends and family.
Greg: SO COOL!!!
Awesome
Dennis R. Williams. He was a 22-year-old art student at the time. The reason he designed this reverse was because his college instructor assigned him the National Bicentennial Coin Design Competition as his project! 🙂
I got the silver one of those...san fran mint
I have the type one Denver, and block letters, but the date is thin..and it has the S with the long tail.
I was looking at the bi central ones that my grandpa gave me two have no ridge on half of the coin on the face side only is this rare?
I have the Philly in pretty good condition, should I take a chance and have it graded. Type 1??
I have the 1976 Proof set Denver mint type 2 from a penny to the dollar. How much would that be worth?
Say I find something, what to do with it? I have a 2020 w state park quarter
What if you had the S circulated set?
I have one no mint mark signed under neck with a small mark out from chin on edge of coin in plastic I believe right one has the bold lettering moon bell
I Have this coin with the D under Ikes bust right side, its been gold plted but its lightly rubbed in the front more so bc the way it was stored
I have a uncerculated bicentennial Ike the 2 looks like a full greese through, can you give me any info or should I send it to get graded?
So how do your prices change from the last video I just watched saying these non mint stamped ones are worth 450k
Good question
Those were the proof mints. You have one of these in your PROOF set and it's missing it's S mint mark, and it's graded extremely high, then you have a half mil $ coin. Good luck👍
Thank ypu for more information about your one do
Lar 1776 upto 1976, i habe two cs! Tjat like. Thanl verry ,uch.
I have both uncirculated and circulated. The uncirculated have 40% silver and have years 1971 72 and the bicentennial looking to find out how I can get them graded, thank you.
Hi, I happen to have the exact same 1976 bicentennial Eisenhower dollar, I'm new at this, can you please let me what steps to take to find out about out this coin, Thank you for your input.
Yeah! I have nine dollars of that!
I have a few of each of these coins.
Shaun I have a uncirculated with a the Bell and the moon on the reverse are offset to the left about 5% maybe 10 that came from Bradford exchange
I love ikes! What about the san Francisco mint?
I do have one of those dollar coin bicentennial
i have a few with no mint mark and quite a few Denver all Bicentennial 13 d and 6 with the no mint mark
I NEED THIS COIN
Okay it's getting almost creepy, Blue, the way you keep doing videos on coins I just acquired. I just Monday went through the mint sets at my LCS and bought 4 Bicentennial sets. And I put both a P and D Ike Bicentennial (both Type 1) in flips because they are so flawless I'll probably send them to PCGS. As far as I can tell, they are just as high grade if not better than the top ones shown on the coin facts pages.
That makes two of us. I just received my mint sets in the mail and I have 2 of these coins.
@@casanovaclown # of us Now!!!lolol
3, I meant!!! Hahahahaha!!
I “had” one along with a TON of other neat coins but they were freaking stollen and never recovered 😕
I probably had THOUSANDS just in the coins alone I know I had some die error ones and if I remember right I had one double die penny with doubling on the mint mark
I sadly never had my collection appraised before it was stollen and now these videos make me wonder how many good ones I had
The theft happened many years ago when I was moving to a new place
Up to $150 are u kidding 😭🤦🏻♀️ I hate thieves I had both kind of these and they were in somewhat decent shape to I don’t remember the details from them though
Yes I have 1 1976 bicentennial
I have 1976 type 1 40 percert ike dollar coin does it worth anything?
