Dad and I went half and half on a Model 41 for my birthday in 1966. Still have it to this day, complete with original box. A very fine pistol.

I got a Model 41 recently. Beautiful gun but first time at the range it failed to eject about every other round. Was using CCI which usually runs in anything so not sure what the trouble is, will need to do some troubleshooting.

Check the extractor and ejector. Might just need a good cleaning. 22 ammo burns dirty.

The model 41 is a better gun. But considering the difference in price, the Browning is probably a better value.
