Bom dia meu Amigo !!!!
Abraço do Brasil.........
In hillclimb you can go when you want as soon as the light is green, the time just starts running when you cross the starting line
Excellent driving!! Please continue to post your onboard videos.
Sound quality is unworldly
This was last year with the original final drive ratio, since mid of last year we have a new ratio for the hillclimbs! Tyres are always a bit cold on the start as you have no warm up lap or tyre heaters
You are completely right, the biggest difference is in the slow corners, the GP2 generates a lot of aero downforce at higher speed and more competitive in fast corners.
Yes we will be again in Trento!
The main differences is that the FA30 was build to race on hillclimbs. The GP2 was build to race on circuits. The GP2 weighs about 60 kg more an is much longer. A big difference as well is that the FA30 has no security at all, it does not even have a carbon chassis, the GP2 however has the same crash tests as the F1 nowadays which makes it a very safe car. At the moment it will be difficult to beat the Osellas but we are working hard to improve our car to beat them in the future !
i think the microphone of the camera fell in the exhaust pipe :DD
First thank you !
It depends on the steering rack you use, but with the most common one it is around 270°.
i need to get on this hill in the next few years! Much longer and faster than our hillclimbs in cornwall.
Great Driving.
Fantastic driving, using the full width of the road in some very fast sections!
Yes, I agree !
We are using the standard engine from Mecacrome but modified by Swiss Racing Engineering from 4L to 3L.
mamma mia che mezzo!!!!mostruoso...
Thanks !
Crazy! The '08 GP2 is one of the prettiest racecars ever made, just gorgeous. What engine/power are you running?
Great idea to bring the GP2 into hillclimb. Can you tell us what gear ratios are you using on this particular track. It seems that a closer one would bennefit a lot but thats me thinking. At the begining it seemed that the tires were not propperly warmed. Best of luck for the future and keep on posting!!!
I notice that through the early corners the car was a bit skittish compared to corners further up the course. Was that due to them being slow and lack of downforce or the tyres weren't up to heat? Whatever, I have now watched a few of your videos and it is very impressive driving given any mistake is going to end in tears.
i noticed the same thing
i think it has to do with tire temp
+Peter Lovett when your tires get warm you gain a lot of grip
Both, cold tires and low downforce. Formulas are notorious for being somewhat underwhelming in slow corners.
ElusiveStupidity they need their wings to fly
en 2013 il existe encore des vidéos où l'on trouve un son digne d'une gameboy ... Sinon bravo pour la performance de pilotage c'est impressionnant !
nice driving mate, i disagree with having courses like this as if you have an accident the outcome could be very bad, you have balls mate ! keep it up and stay safe
0:49 did they use a leaf blower for the cooling intakes... lol
6 years later... but yes F1 use the same kind of system
Thanks
Awesome ! Scaring !
What was the top speed on this run ?
Super David !!
LOVE.THE.SOUND!
sounds like the racing games of Nintendo family computer
lol at the old guy with the stick 1:21
I would love picture inset of facial expressions.
One question: The F1 in the mountain?,i like to see this
Excuse my ignorance, but... why he did not jump immediately after green light?
Sound like 80's cars videogames
Hello this in France ?
Amazing :-)
Around 220 km/h !
balls of steel
Sounds like this man is driving in a bubble
I would be afraid to drive on this track with an Opel Corsa imagine with this devil!!! Excellent driving, next year? F1?
The engine sounds like an old f1car game...

Nice, balls to the wall.
insane...
If it were up to me sequential gearboxes would be outlawed in all forms of motor racing.
....we put up with another motorsport event sans a vital skill of the past. We got rid of aerodynamic skirts in motor racing for this sort of reason, we can do it for sequential gearboxes too.
There is just nothing good about sequential for the spectator that couldn't be made better by their removal.
That's what, so....... stick that in yur pipe and smoke it!
Fk......respect
