I think F1 should have their onboard cameras not stabilized just like on this video. The kind of format that captures the shakiness highlights the pure speed of the car and just makes everything exciting especially with the overtakes.
Ok I get your point, but on an F1 onboard, I like to see the details of how a driver drives around a lap, and if there's an incident it's easier to see what's happening. I am going to absolutely cane my lawnmower this afternoon now. 🇬🇧💪

Boa noite !!!!
Nunca me canso de assistir esse vídeo.
Absolutamente fantástico.
Obrigado por nos levar de carona pra curtir essa velocidade.
Obrigado pelo vídeo e parabéns pelo canal.

Are those tires retreads?
I legitimately had my ears pop from the change in pressure as i was watching this lmao
Not only the speed is amazing but also how small the steering wheel is.
It's about as big as it can be without forcing the driver's hands into the bodywork 👐
I just spent an hour looking through my wife's stupid catalog and didn't see them tires in it any where???
I don’t think they’re street legal anyways
What??

Such an underrated element of motor sport. Sick!
I've only just seen this .
Amazing skill.
That little left-hand kink around 2:30, with all of that vibration, if I hadn't done a course walk prior, I probably would have clipped that barrier on the right. Comes very suddenly and difficult to see.
Anyone know what sort of chassis this is? Some sort of ex-Formula car tub that's been heavily modified?
No, it's a Gould GR61X hillclimb car
Everybody talking about the speed and the scenery, meanwhile I literally cannot imagine how they built a suspension that can rotate a car that quickly and accurately. Literally incredible.
Downforce helps
@@NoBrakes23 It does it at low speed as well.
Considering the footage is in real time this is pretty freaking insane
Congratulations Scott Moran. Great drive and Silver Medal. Well Done....... Gold next year
This three-minutes video is better than an entire Formula 1 season.
It's the insane countersteer reaction times that impress me , god he surely does know how to control the car. 👍
Knowing the course or not, I can’t believe anyone can have such fast reflexes to make those turns. Am very impressed

one of the all time greatest hill climb drivers
Damn...couldn't help but realise that with these narrow roads, any minor wobble at a turn and this guy would be catapulted off the mountain into the houses below or into a rock wall.
Camera: *i'm gonna record this, this is the most incredible ride along in my life*
When the recording of an action camera seems fast is when you realize how fast is it.

Who else just randomly got this on there recommend
I can't let that grammar go unnoticed, sorry
Who else just got this in their reccomended randomly?
I got it and glad I saw it. That was cool dude.
@@m1- bro this is text speech not school(btw I'm in year 6)
@@m1- That's actually incorrect. While the ending sentence adverb avoids the end-of-sentence preposition faux pas, the structure of the grammar beforehand is wrong, and it's also missing a comma at the end, given that "randomly" is an out-of-clause observation, hence the pause. The correct way to pose that question is: Who else just received this in their recommended, randomly?
I did.

That's what I need when back from work to my home on hill
As a road cyclist, I understand how much damn power it takes to climb, let alone the energy needed for this car to do this. Amazing
lol
I think F1 should have their onboard cameras not stabilized just like on this video. The kind of format that captures the shakiness highlights the pure speed of the car and just makes everything exciting especially with the overtakes.
Ok I get your point, but on an F1 onboard, I like to see the details of how a driver drives around a lap, and if there's an incident it's easier to see what's happening.
What they can do tho, is increase the fov of the camera. I did this in the F1 2021 game and the speed feels like a 2000s 4:3 onboard.
they do that and they instantly get dropped by every service that shows the program on a tv. that would suck to watch sitting on a couch across the room
I just realized hill climb cars start on cold tires and brakes. Wow, that’s commitment.
It is indeed! The tyres (and I assume pads) are designed to switch on immediately though compared to circuit tyres just so you know. Doesn’t take anything away from the commitment though! The driving is incredible in the hill climb championships.
I bet they just have a lot softer tyres that warms up in 1-2 corners
@@superstar5042 probably but I imagine they don’t want the pressure to overbuild. I didn’t search but I’m sure some person on UA-cam has explained their tire choice lol. I’ll search now. If no reply I’ve got nothing to report
@@superstar5042 kinda sucks. I only got sponsored results. Seems like they do develop tires for the course, which aids in tire temp. Still cool tech. I like SportsCar racing, then NASCAR, then other forms (GT racing is nice af). But hill climbs are amazing. True commitment. Like rally racing.
@@willhicks8769 My dad and I have a W in a color circle like you do, but in a different color.
Although the slightly wide angle lens gives a correspondingly slight exaggeration of speed, nonetheless this is some of the best in-car track footage I've ever seen.
I wish he didn't turn the HUD off so I could see the radar and what speed he was going
Usually pro racing cars doesnt have speedometer on their HUD
it's artifically sped up, thats not the original speed, the video playback speed has been slightly increased, watch it on 0.75 looks way more realistic, also the engine sounds way more reasonable at 0.75 and doesn't rev instantly also hinting that it's sped up, additionally shifting gears feels way to fast even for a race car at 1x playback... it might not be speed up as much as the difference between 0.75 and 1 but I guess the original clip has been sped up by about 15% before uploading it (not 33% as the change would suggest, it's just that youtube hasn't got anything in between 1 and 0.75)
He gets the apex of those hairpins with such precision 👌👌👌
Actually looks like misses like two of them but it's a great run anyway
@@blueshadow331 if you refer to the first one, I thought he went wide but the outside wall makes the road tighter on the exit, a late apex and he is so early on the throttle 🤤🤤
