I've got over a decade of WOW and am new to ESO. I am disoriented here and don't want to budge my Level Ones out of their jail cell until I get a grip on this UI. You have a gift for explaining why a particular addon is an advantage. You are clear, concise, complete with demo, and your editing is unsurpassed. It doesn't get better than this.
Thank you! I was about 3hrs into the game and was completely lost. I watched this entire video while at work and now I have a full page of notes and I’m EXTREMELY excited to get home and start my journey right!
By far, the best overview of a game I have ever watched. Great for a new players like me, starting now in June 2020. Thanks for the time and effort it took to put this together.
Your thorough guide helped me decide to get the game. Specifically clarifying the business model, class options, and combat style was the biggest help!
I bought ESO on preorder when I was a manager at EB Games. I installed it on my PC at the time and never got around to playing past the tutorial area. I was so keen for it at the time but I was too busy to give it the attention it deserves. Also, my PC back then was so weak that everything looked crappy. But I just built a new monster PC a few weeks ago. I just bought the upgrade to Greymoor and am installing it in my new PC now. I'm looking forward to giving it a proper go. I'm watching this video while it downloads. So I hope I've got a good watch ahead of me. Thanks for making this so concise. Love the long video.
@@ibnyahud I've never played PvP on anything. I played WoW for 2 years and never finished a raid because I kept getting kicked out for being a noob. 10 years later, my fingers aren't quick enough for console multiplayer. I'm just getting used to keyboard/mouse and the overwhelming amount of choice in PC games. ESOs whole menu is overwhelming. There's too much to manage. I don't understand what anything does so I don't even know what I'm spending perks on. I think it will be a while before I can ever play against another human at this rate.

Thank you for making the most comprehensive guides online for ESO. I just started and I feel like there's a huge learning curve for beginners to get past before they can really enjoy the game with other players. Thank you for simplifying the process, so it's fun and not as overwhelming lol
This guide is every beginner's dream! I've heard that Eso is a bit complicated for beginners but your guide is a life saver! Will be playing soon! Thank you so much!
Oh, you are amazing. Thank you for this! I could never get into mmos until recently when I became absolutely obsessed with Final Fantasy XIV around Easter. I am still obsessed, but I have played Skyrim in the past for a little bit and been intruigued since I found out about ESO. I am only level 5 right now and I am having fun, but I got totally lost after traveling to a few places following quests and it took me five minutes to figure out how to get back to the city I started in. And I am very interested in starting crafting. I love that aboit both ESO and FFXIV. They are just different enough to keep things interesting while playing both games. I have found that ESO is a little less user friendly for beginners though, so I am taking a break at level 5 to watch this and get up to speed on how to play. Thank you so much for the obvious amount of time and hard work you put into this!
Dottz, your guide is a godsend, and it has played a large part in ESO becoming my main game. It popped up in my UA-cam recommendations after I bought Elsweyr last Summer, and it's been helping me find my way through the massive amount of content that's in the game. I really appreciate the care you put into keeping it updated, as guides for other games I've played in the past tend to become obsolete after a while and not all of them get updated by their creators.
Just bought base game after watching first hour or so of this guide. Will definately be getting sub and the dlcs etc once i get used to it. This guide is exactly what i needed to know, thank you.
You know I watched a lot of your content dots but what really cements my respect for you as a UA-camr and as someone who is clearly very passionate about his work is these guys these beginner guides that go over every little thing I really admire you for that thank you
This is probably the most comprehensive video guide for any game I've ever seen, anywhere. Really great work, I started ESO this week and have been using this as a modular resource throughout the week and it's super helpful. Thanks for taking the time to get more people into the game!
Great guide thank you. With ESO coming to Stadia on the 16th of June, I have shared your video in our ESO Discord help links guide as it’s so comprehensive.
im also new to the game and there is A LOT to learn. so far ive focused on just leveling and going from there. Taking just a tiny bit of inspiration for builds as i do enjoy min/maxing but not following it 100% atm as i quite enjoy being clueless for once
I'm new to ESO and your channel is a godsend. I especially appreciate the updated beginner's guides for each new chapter -- I can imagine it's incredibly tedious to have to constantly update them, but please know it is deeply appreciated by me. I got confused by the tutorial you were referring to in this video since it didn't match the tutorial that I played through, and going back to your beginner's guide for Morrowind solved my confusion as to why it was different (I was gifted a copy of ESO on Steam and I didn't realize that the steam version included Morrowind). Seriously, you rule.
Wow, just wow. Amazing how well made this is and how great it is that you’re getting this information out to new players! Gonna hop back into the game now after a 3 year absence. Absolutely earned a subscriber!

I am fresh off the banana boat into ESO and your guide explained everything i needed to know. Earned a sub and i know where to go for my ESO questions tyvm for the video!!!
I'm not even past the contents screen yet, but wanted to say thank you after your comment about the game not really doing a good job helping new players get acclimated. I plan on getting the game when I get paid in a few weeks, and I believe this guide will be very beneficial. Thanks much.
Jfc ZeniMax themselves should pay you for this video lol. Because I know it got them tons of money they would have lost to new players (and even not new) not wanting to figure all this out on their own and getting discouraged/abandoning before really even experiencing the full extent of it. This video is a blessing, perfect "explain this to me like I'm five" tutorial. 100/10.

The biggest thing I wish they would do is tell you which abilities morph into what before you even invest into them. It wouldn’t be so confusing if they did this. You really can’t plan what you don’t know.
Thank you so so much for the guide. I just installed it and haven't started yet and somehow came across your guide. This is the best guide i had ever watched for even any other game guides video. The amount of effort and passion you pour into this video to help newbie like me to understand is astounding and for that you deserve my like and subscribe. If i can like your video 100 times more you bet i would. Thank you so much again for this guide which really helps me a ton.
@@dottzgaming aww but bad news occurred.. It seems ESO doesn't have Asia region in which i can't play.. I was getting ready to apply your guild too.. I'm very sad now.. But nevertheless I will continue to watch your vids and guides just because you are the best imo. two thumbs up!
I gave the like your video before even watching mate! Another new expansion and another new guide video from you. You work almost as hard as the game developers! Thank you for the effort and the patient you put for the ESO!
Awesome video. Listened to and watched it all the way through a couple times, I really appreciate all the info and the way it's presented. Keep up the excellent work.
Commenting to help out your video. I haven't watched it yet but I'm going to. Knowledge is power and it's better to take 3 hours to learn than struggle for 15 or whatever. I think I'm going to Tank so we'll see how it goes. Thank you for your video!
wow...thanks so much for this! you put so much effort into it> I just bought it on steam ands knew nothing about it except it being huge and poular. Im watching this video thinking I did very well getting this game, there is so much to learn. Cheers

Holly molly, this is some monumental guide right here. Thank you Dottz, I think I know what to do while servers are still off
No problem!
Awesome work :) Should be integrated into ESO tutorials in-game :)
The biggest thing I wish they would do is tell you which abilities morph into what before you even invest into them. It wouldn’t be so confusing if they did this. You really can’t plan what you don’t know.
man, thank you so much. this is so extremely helpful, and you deserve more attention on the yt. lots of praise.
Thanks for this. Returning player but needed a major refreshing. This helps alot good sir!!
Thank you for the kind words, really glad you enjoyed!
Thanks! And I'm sorry to hear :/
@@buredogaming2015 just play on US Servers. You should be fine for most stuff apart from Pvping and I'm sure even then you'd be okay
I gave the like your video before even watching mate! Another new expansion and another new guide video from you. You work almost as hard as the game developers! Thank you for the effort and the patient you put for the ESO!
Thank you!
Awesome video.
Listened to and watched it all the way through a couple times, I really appreciate all the info and the way it's presented. Keep up the excellent work.

Thanks!
I bought the game yestarday, ty for your guide!
Commenting to help out your video. I haven't watched it yet but I'm going to. Knowledge is power and it's better to take 3 hours to learn than struggle for 15 or whatever.
I think I'm going to Tank so we'll see how it goes. Thank you for your video!
Love the "Bloodbending" drop. Subbed and liked for that alone.
Also, anyone else notice at 30:30 you pushed out a fart?? haha
Going to be checking this video out in pieces throughout the week. It’s been a ton of help so far! Subscribed 🤘🏻
