Dottz, glad you are covering eso again. When i started eso, in 2018(?), I watched ur 3+hr beginner guide about 4 or 5 times! Then, I bought the game. Hit the ground running, but still learning today in 2022. Thank you for your thorough, yet non-condescending content.

Just going through stonefall and the game is a lot better than i thought i would be. Maybe because i have not played Skyrim for a long time so the game has it's own feel and the good elder scrolls vibe so not negative anymore because the combat is different. So far this game is very enjoyable.
Decided to pickup the high Isles collector edition on sale today to keep me occupied until star wars come out but may just end up doing a series
Just returned yesterday to eso my character had like over 260 points and 223 CP I had no idea what to do with it. So I just made it a crafter and started a new character but having fun. This video helps a lot though.

Any of you folks play a DoT Nightblade? Recently returned to the game and rolled up a Breton NB with the idea to play with a Shadowpriest vibe. Full light armor + Inferno staff front bar with DoTs + Damage. Back bar Resto Staff with off-healing/utility skills.
I'm solid on skill/morph choices and playing DoT builds in MMOs overall, but not so sure on Mundus Stone + Magicka vs Spell Power choices + Armor sets. Looking at Seducer for Magicka management + it's pretty damage/healing agnostic. I'm sure there might be something better though. Please drop a line if you have any thoughts!
Who's on ps4 lol just recently got back on eso...took a long time away since having epilepsy I just started back getting eso plus a week ago and bought high Isle Today !😅 would be grateful for the help I just leveled up my khajiit templar to 50 yesterday lol
Thoughts on which race to run for Tank and Stam DPS Dragonknight on one character? Don't have the time to for more characters and want to stick with one.
regarding the races section, any race really can play and even excel at any role. sure if you're gonna min/max then some races will be better tanks/etc but the difference is so small and for beginners there's almost literally no difference at all, especially since the racial skills that make a perceptible difference won't be available for the first several dozen hours of gameplay
I didn't see a section on how to add Allies to the Allies Quickslot wheel. Not the traditional Quickslot wheel, but the Allies Quickslot wheel.
You also need to watch the guilds your joining alot of them you have to pay weekly gold to join and will remove you very quickly if your not active.
guide is nice my only issue is at 35:07 when you say you use puncture a tanks taunting skill on a magdk...
As a new player would you buy the high isle with all chapters or base game and eso plus??

Great video as always. But don't buy banker and merchant they might sound convient but they are 50 real us dollars if both 100. It literally takes less than a minute from anywhere to find a bank or merchant. Not worth 100%. That being said people can buy what they want.
Did you do this vid on the live game, or the pts? The reason I am asking is I am on the live High Isle and my UI looks like a game console. I have looked at other vids and they look like the PC UI I have been using.

The only information here I disagree with is how important you say race choice is for role/class. In reality its only a 1-5% difference and unless new players are interested in min/maxing its not that important other than making a choice they will enjoy and have fun with.

I'm assuming in endgame I'll have to micro manage him more?
The most you'll have to do really is command him to attack or not. Not nearly as micro as hunter pets in wow

Comparing char creators to bdo when it ain’t even the best? Phantasy Star Online 2 has the best char creator
ESO would be amazing if the combat wasn’t the worst in the genre. Every class is a click, weave click and has no unique play style. They all feel the same level of very bad. Shame for such a great world and fleshed out storyline.

Have eso for my pc but haven't played in years, now that it's on gamepass and comes with the dlc I can't wait to jump back in and see how different it is.

Idiotically complicated game, mixing everything to the point that it is total ABSURD. They havent decided if it is a solo game or MMO so that stupid world scaling ruining all experience becaue you if you can go anywhere no matter your level, it is boring. No chill feeling, no fear of being killed, lost the basic RPG game sense. What is the sense of races or classes if you practically can make anything of every choice? As we know, the majority of people play this game as they would play any offline like Skyrim, etc. Developers are just idiots.
