Wow, I'm an American citizen living abroad in the Philippines in the province in western Visayas. Hey how do Americans find a good CPA to do income tax for American foreigners here in Philippines?
I’ve watched a lot of Philippine videos of retirees moving there, but what you don’t see is retirees that have medical issues like diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and need to have medication. They don’t tell you what medicines cost in the Philippines I pretty much know what they cost in Thailandbut not in the Philippines can you find people with medical issues that take medication and find out what they spend per month on the high blood pressure, high cholesterol medicine
I totally agree with most of the answers. We are considered walking ATMs for many of the women in the philippines, but that's no different than in the West. As a retired man , I am interested in retiring in the philippines for the financial benefits and a woman who is traditional in her values . Basically, the things that are dying in the west that men want in their lives. It's all a trade-off as women want stability and security in their lives, and men want to be loved and cared for . I don't understand why men would be having children in their retirement years, but some guys do, and that is their own personal choice. I've been there and done that for me, and I prefer to just enjoy my retirement in peace as much as possible 🙏.

Yes, I know how the Filipino nurses are. That’s my point! you Do not know what you’re talking about. filipino physicians cannot come to the United States without massive retraining or passing the USMLE. Same goes for the nurses without extensive retraining and passing the boards here. That’s why they don’t import them much anymore because it’s not worth the expense. In my 35 years in the medical field, I have seen one Filipino physician and most likely because they went to United States school. The Philippines is rated one of the lowest quality healthcare in the world so I don’t know where you’re getting your information from. I have firsthand experience for years to back up what I say. So if you wanna get your care in the Philippines, be my guest.
Advice to all seniors traveling around the world. Be careful the woman asking money from you especially the younger ones. Time and generation change so be on guard, there’s a lot of scammers around to bit you. When women ask for money run away from them.
I live in a province 'city' on Negros Island. Not a city in the sense the Americans think of as a city but they call it a city. Anyway its not modern like IT Park or BGC. Those are more modern and westernized so its a lot easier for foreigners to get acclimated. So living in a 'province' can be challenging to say the least. The apartment is spacious open floor plan, 2 large bedrooms with 2 full size baths for around $200 per month. You couldn't get that in the US. Traffic is much lighter than Cebu, Dumaguete or definitely Manila. They recently installed some Traffic lights. However, no traffic rules apply of course. People just go with the flow. Only 2 hospitals here but not very modern and equipped like the US. In my opinion if you're living in a comfort city like IT Park or BGC you dont really know what it's like to live in the Philippines amongst the locals. Been living here for alittle over 2 years now.
I'm surprised to learn that they were not able to enjoy the senior citizen privileges being offered in supermarkets, banks and even in government transactions. Senior citizens have priorities in lines but they never mentioned it. So I assume that they don't know it.
That Ausie guy though... I am married to a westerner but never asked for anything as I was afraid he may demand something from me in exchange. I thought to myself that just in case things will not go well with us, he has nothing to talk about against me 😀. I suspect those ladies asking for money are on the job just to get money not for long term relationship.
Me too. But he said Australia, so that's what I put. Maybe the people he is talking to don't know where Austria is, so he says Australia to reduce confusion.

And what city is that? Because I happen to know that that’s not true. There’s no reciprocity for physicians and the nurses are not trained very well. It’s not worth bringing them from the Philippines.

In manila one whole coconut cost for only 35 pesos and to think its manila.that 50 pesos is quite xpensive not unless bought in d mall.
Berberine, milk thistle tea and Turmeric and Nac
Generic medicines are cheaper than branded ones but the effects are the same.
I'm coming to the Philippines this summer to be a US remote worker. I also want to sell life insurance to expats to protect their wives
Wow from Philippines
IT park that place looks nice place to retire cost of iiving allgood reasons to set up shop
Nice
Met a girl online. Within 2 weeks she had asked me for a loan of 5000 peso. I think that's pretty bold.
Loan... Haha.... Gift, she meant.
Advice? Don't give any money.
Run
Foriegn being taken advantage in the Philippines, in behalf of Filipino fell sory for them, we fell shame, if foreigner being taken advantage of some Filipino, Godbless take care❤
They just need to be careful with people who asked for money.
Mostly, game playing and lying for what the money will be used for.
50 pesos for a coconut drink is cheap? Haha it is overpriced compared to the average price of coconuts drink in the Philippines
It's expensive when you buy it in the mall stalls😂
Yes, 50 pesos is reasonable.
My fellow seniors think double trippleness imake sure philippine is so hard to live , a lot of loko loko scam difficult situition are here, be safe and be allert my fellow seniors
What happens when as you age, your cognition declines to the point where you have no choice but to have someone else take over your finances?
I'm surprised to learn that they were not able to enjoy the senior citizen privileges being offered in supermarkets, banks and even in government transactions. Senior citizens have priorities in lines but they never mentioned it. So I assume that they don't know it.
W0w from Philippines
That Ausie guy though... I am married to a westerner but never asked for anything as I was afraid he may demand something from me in exchange. I thought to myself that just in case things will not go well with us, he has nothing to talk about against me 😀. I suspect those ladies asking for money are on the job just to get money not for long term relationship.
What about the safety in the Philippines? I hear about muggings, pick pocket, kidnapping. Is it just the places you go?
Pretty sure that last guy was from Austria not Australia
Me too. But he said Australia, so that's what I put.
Maybe the people he is talking to don't know where Austria is, so he says Australia to reduce confusion.
Yall seniors better be careful...some ladies out there will take you to heaven too fast. 😅😂
11:26 Looks like he met a professional gold digger 😅 Unfortunately, some are like that yet not everyone is. And much like anywhere in the world, you still have to be careful whom to be friends with. Ingat po kayo.
Sana sa mga babae sa Pilipinas na pira lang ang hangad sa mga foreigner magkaroon naman sana tayo ng dignidad huwag naman pira pira lang nakakahiya salamat
Anything can be said by anyone because there’s no way it can be verified
That's not the point of these videos. They're not on trial.
Using actual real math, inflation is 67% over the last 4 years in the US.
Age gap doesn't really matter here in the Philippines for sure Alex. I feel bad for that last guy you interviewed he go asked for money by some females and he doesn't know them that's a no from me to
Yea I'm with you Jeff. But I'm glad he was honest, so others can be informed
Surfshark does not do as stated-I would not recommend
What don't they do?
Old rich man dies young 🎉🎉🎉 chismis marites Philippines 😂
So still the first guy thinks the Philippines is a 3rd world country even though it is a newly industrialized country now.
Wow!!! This man called my country the Philippines third world country??? Hahaha 😂 OMGsh!!!
if women u meet likes money they are red flag so avoid that kind of person
Stop romanticizing like a chick…women will always want the one with resources…it’s survival.
Just like men want the prettiest and fittest women to insure their blood line is perfect
No just fuckem and move on.😊
3rd guy.... Filipinos wants money......hahahaha... just be careful and be aware... Situational awareness...
"Do you consider yourself a senior?" My answer to that question is, "no, I'm in denial." I think it's a good positive answer.😁
Woah! 3rd world so why stay? It's developing the Philippines better than NYC yuk!
Not a 3rd world country, we are already beyond that. I would say developing country which is aggressively developing with their infrastructure.
Actually is a 4th developing country...😂
These guys came from the dead?😂😂😂
Unbelievable, they are in the Philipp8nes and they watch youtube a couple of hours every day....😂😂😂😂these people are nuts man....😂😂😂
And what city is that? Because I happen to know that that’s not true. There’s no reciprocity for physicians and the nurses are not trained very well. It’s not worth bringing them from the Philippines.
You are so jealous of Filipinos😀 Or maybe you feel inferior with Filipinos😀🤣 Bad judgement and being Bitter is shouting and is dangerous!!!
Hans is a whiner😅
