🥰 LOVE your work! I have moved to using cotton yarn for a market bag for Saturday Farmer's Market here. I have been trying cotton yarn initially as I made potholders and placemats for my son's first apartment! Then I use cotton yarn and add twine, doubling it, to make sturdy baskets for my home, bathroom cabinets, dressers or for filling up as themed gift baskets!
These are all lovely, thank you for making them so you could show them to us. I'd love to see a tutorial for both the watermelon bag and also the granny square bags, btw those two colourways are two of my favourite of that yarn, I adore the Lily Pad as well! One thing to consider though, when making bags with the All In One Granny Square yarn I would do a lining, for avoiding the bag from stretching, just because it's acrylic yarn that will stretch! So even though you were thinking more along the lines of whether anything might fall through, the fact that because it's acrylic will mean it will start stretching once anything with a bit of weight goes in it, but if you line it you can save that from happening! 🤞🏻
Loved all your bags but wanted to know who’s patter or tutorial you used for the granny square bag. I clicked on the website you listed but really couldn’t find the tutorial. It seems yours are nice and big. Did you just use a larger hook? Thanks
I just used the Red Heart yarn. Depending on the color, I use a 5.5 or a 6. I didn’t follow the red heart directions, just made granny squares the way I make them. I’m happy to do a video if you’d like!
That would be great. I just found your channel. Your bags are all gorgeous. Thank you so much. I’ll be subscribing so when you do that tutorial I won’t miss it thank you so much. Take care
