My Response to the Jack Hibb's Congressional Prayer

- unedited and unrehearsed gut feeling about the congressional response, and lack there of, of Pastor Jack Hibb's recent pray in Congress. Time we call out our "Christian" elected officials for not fighting for our rights.
I am a Welsh grandma and I love pastor Jack .i wish we had pastors in my country willing to share the truth of Gods word like him. Keep it up brother we love you ❤
I watch Pastor Jack Hibbs too for a few years he is one of the few that labor and take a stand against the evil in this world I love him he is a man of God like Paul
Amen this morning I went to my daughter church in Celina Texas and the pastor preach about standing up against the evil in this world, Christians need to take a stand and tell that devil no more Devil get out of our way in Jesus name

Jack Hibbs is one of the few that Stand up for Gods Truth. He’s a true Patriot for America. I wish more Churches would Stand up to this evil. Our world would not be in the mess we are in. Too many Christians don’t even vote. They have been convinced that the church should not get involved in politics. Obviously they don’t know Gods word. If ALL Christ followers voted we wouldn’t be where we are.

I heard a pastor say in a couple of his sermons the the United States is under God’s judgment for her sin. I suspect that it may actually be the Church under judgment for the very reasons you mentioned.

I am a Christian with a different take on this issue. I believe Pastor is brave and sincere but misguided. But we have to face reality. He poked the bear and he broke the rules for giving the prayer. We live in a pluralistic society. Congress represents people of all faiths or no faith. We don’t win people to Christ by cramming it down their throats. That prayer did more damage than good to the cause of Christ but most Christians are blind to that. Pastor Jack recently made the mistake of endorsing a candidate in a service at his church and was called out for it by a group of atheists. Our battle isn’t with flesh and blood. It is spiritual. We shouldn’t go out of our way to attack those who are lost and need to know Christ. We should as believers reach out in a loving way to the lost in our circle of influence with the gospel and win them one by one. Pastor Jack went on Daystar and promotes that haven for false teachers. No one questions him. We tend to put celebrity pastors of mega churches on a pedestal.

We are to hold our faith and endure , not go fighting and protesting everything. and Jesus told us all of this would happen.
