Covid was what brought me TO Jesus. I was an atheist for 25 years until covid. I'm 28 now, Praise Jesus!!
How did Covid bring you to Jesus, having been an atheist for 25 years?
@@Faithful_Watchman it's a long story, but: my employer, who I'm still with, during covid had very strict covid regulations I refused to follouw. I wouldn't put a mask on, I refuse to take the vaccine (these details matter).
I live in Arizona, we go from 120-70 overnight in October, so I got the cold in December 2020, and they told me that I couldn't work unless I got tested. They told me that if it came back positive I was out without pay for at least 2 weeks AFTER being symptom free, or if it comes back negative that I can come back ASAP.
So, even though I didn't want to get tested, I did. And it wasn't a rapid test, I had to wait 3 days for the results. So I had a lot of time to wait. I decided to give God a try.
So, day one of waiting, I'm laying on my bed, I said out loud, all alone: "God, if you exist, I really need your help....". Immediately, I felt chills all over my body, and I felt a comforting pressure on my right shoulder, and a calming voice told me 1 word, three times: "pray, pray (a little bit of a pause) pray".
So I prayed a lot over 3 days. And on 12/20/20 I checked my email, and there it was. My test results. I tapped on it, and it came back negative. I called and they let me come back to work that same day.
All credit and glory to Jesus!!! Amen!

My father-in-law was raised a Catholic, after trying a nice non denominational church, he never looked back. Said he learned more in that hour than he did his entire life in the Catholic church. I always that God must have really had an amazing message for him that day. His family disowned him for this and even when he was on his deathbed, they never forgave him for leaving the Catholic church.

Make sure your calling in Christ. Referring to the Holy Spirit, Jesus said, "Whoever believes in Me shall have rivers of living water bubbling up from inside of him." Does that describe your walk with the Lord? Does the Holy Spirit bear witness that you are a child of God (Romans 8.16)? Unless you know Christ, you cannot enter heaven. Do you have assurance of salvation through the Holy Spirit? If not, then it is only a dangerous presumption that you will make it to heaven.
Christ died on a Cross so that we may know Him. Jesus Christ is the light of the world.

I was saved, filled with the Holy Spirit for years and fell back into the world and sin through hanging out with coworkers and stopped going to church and reading the bible. I eventually fell hard and returned to the Lord. I found out firsthand that you are indeed sealed by the Holy Spirit and God didn't allow me to die during this period. I now have a new testimony for him. Our God is merciful to his saints who go astray, just like the prodigal son.
Praise God. I had to go so far that HE had to chastise me with a big life threatening event, show me the miracle & left me with a big thorn in my side. May this be a warning to anyone that is starting to backsliding. Run back to GOD while you can
That's not what the prodigal son parable means. "For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries." People who fall away after claiming to be saved were never saved in the first place. They trample on the blood of Christ and are sealed in their sin, there is no return.

Because this will kill the flesh and strengthen your spirit and bring revelation and deliverance. Pray Ephesians 1:17-23 over yourself. Memorize and prat it daily. Pray for my daughter who has backslider. We lost our oldest daughter to breast cancer at 38. Our younger daughter who loved her sister so much dropped out of church. She couldn’t understand why God would take her sister. She was a wonderful Christian wife and mother whom everyone loved. I’ve held onto Gods hand thru it all. Pray Melissa will get back where she belongs or gets saved whichever is needed! Thank you!
God didn't take her sister - cancer did.
God allowed that to happen - but He didn't WANT it to happen, any more than He wants babies to be aborted or that Putin should invade Ukraine.
She is fine and when you pass you will understand. She will be OK as well as long as her heart is good. Heaven & Hell is a man made construct this is a stone cold fact

Hello, I took was threatened to eternal damnation should I ever leave the Catholic church. Also, if we ate a hotdog on Friday(on purpose) & stepped off the curb & got killed by a car we would immediately go to hell😮 No wonder I suffered from an obsessive-compulsive disease.....was always going to the confessional.I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.
we answer to an audience of one...Jesus. Born & raised Catholic with all the man made praying to statues & saints rules. Now it's not about religion but relationship with Jesus.. a vertical relationship with Him, not horizontal with man.

Funny, I hear that all the time from Evangelical Protestants. As someone who left the Catholic Church when I went away to college than later in life I went to an Evangelical Protestant Church, I can say the Catholic faith makes a lot more sense to me. I don’t get how any of you can say if a person declares themselves a follower of Jesus Christ all the sins in their past life are forgiven. It seems like a faith for losers to me.
The Holy Spirit will convict you of sin and, if not, then, you may want to question your salvation. If you are truly saved you are sealed by The Holy Spirit and can't truly backslide. You might fall back into prior sins, like David, but, The Spirit will convict you and ultimately you will repent, calling upon The Father for His forgiveness. Just because we are saved, that does not make us sinless. We are a work in progress until we reach Heaven and are given our perfect, sinless body. Amen.

But he's talking about backsliding. If a person simply decides that they enjoy back sliding too much and they're going to reject Jesus from then on and blaspheme the Lord for the next 40 years then they are not going to heaven. That is how my sister-in-law was. She was definitely saved for 10 years. And then she definitely wasn't and on her deathbed she said she definitely was saved and then she rejected Jesus even at her last moments and laughed at me that I still believed. I know that she lost her salvation but it was her choosing to lose it not God's choosing.

I have often wondered what this generation would have done in the Polio pandemic. I lived through it, schools were not closed, masks were not in vogue and the country did not shut down. I went to Church with my parents, we prayed in Sunday School, Church and trusted God.
My grandmother got TB IN 1924 and they didn't shutdown the country for that pandemic either.

I live in sw Virginia and my mother who is now 76 said they did close down the little town for three months only one road in and out and said if you did not live there you could not come in and they had the trucks stop and unload everything at the line she said it was very sad
I also lived through the polio pandamic....the vaccine had been well and truly tested so we had it, and...it prevented us getting polio, not more vaccines required...not like today my friend is lining up for her 5th vaccine injection.... and it still won't stop her from getting it! And I also had the smallpox vax...never got smallpox either...they were genuine in those days

I was a huge backslider . I had no where else to go except Jesus . He said to repent . great message Pastor.
We have salvation when we confess, repent, and obey, and to continue to abide in Him. Either we're in Him or out of Him (Matt. 12:33), therefore when you were a backslider, you were out of Him. I pray and trust you are continuing to be in Him.
many Christians believe that backsliders have lost their salvation....i don't but many different beliefs in amongst other Christians besides the Catholic church .

Our church had several splits, but I stayed. Attended church all through covid. Lost all 7 of my grandchildren: 6 through miscarriages and abortion, one through no-contact estrangement. Lost 4 corporate accounting jobs to layoff in 10 years then got fired from a 5th job for being on short term disability while fighting colon cancer (2nd bout--uterine cancer). Only when I am super weak from chemo do I not go to church. I've kept my faith through ALL of this, even when no one visits. Most people would walk away from Christ if they suffered so much, but instead, I find myself encouraging people to follow Christ! I am soooo grateful for you and your ministry--telling us the Truth!! God has definitely sustained me through it all and I bless Him for it.
Lord bless you sweet sister! Your faith is beautiful! I have two unsaved kids, the other has estranged from us. She says through no fault of ours , itbis that she is “healing” from her adoption trauma. Its been the most heartbreaking thing I’ve ever experienced.

I am a saved Jewish believer. My sister got saved the night before me. My mum prayed for a very very long time for us to be saved. My dad will not accept Jesus. 30 years later, i still pray for him

I was raised Jewish. Became follower of Jesus @ 12yrs old. Prayed for my Jewish mama 33yrs… on her deathbed she accepted Jesus as Messiah. God drew her in only a way she would understand. I will thank Him eternally because of His faithfulness. I believe God truly reaches out to every soul because He is not willing that any perish.
I remember in 1992 my church was destroyed by a tornado. We had services on the grounds the next Sunday. It was beautiful❤

I stopped going to church and was lost for many years, even in those dark days I still knew God loved me. Thankfully I am fighting for my walk with Jesus. Pastor you are giving me the strength. I feel you are guiding me to meet Jesus . I do believe Jesus died for me and is my saviour.

He is seated at the Right hand of Yahweh, and He's coming back soon. All who believe in Jesus will be saved. Jesus is The Messiah, The King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Alpha and Omega. He is our creator, nothing was created without him.

For a lot of years i have seen how easily the word "believe" is used in it's english iteration yet if you go to the greek it means to drink in and not just some kind of mental assent. Jesus said we must drink His blood and eat His flesh to show ourselves as disciples, all kinds of terms that have Him living in us. Jn. 14:15-28 says if we love Jesus and keep His commands He will come and live in us and the Father will come and the Spirit will come into us. That is believing in a nut shell.

That’s the one! That’s the one scripture that haunted me for 50 years. I let bitterness run me away from fellowship for a year a a half. One day read 1 John, but I had cut my teeth (not by choice, it was heavily preached) on that scripture. 😭 I have loved Jesus Christ since 22, and repented every time he showed me what , but it still bothered me. I thank God for the few friends who understood Jesus and loved me back.

I missed her, so when I caught a woman hurting my son, I packed a duffel, took him by the hand and left. Three women stood in the door. The one in the middle who had shunned and belittled me for that last year, raised her fist and screamed “You’ll burn in hell!” Keep in mind my little son was barely 5. I was struggling anyway, with missing my family, feeling different than ‘normal’ people. I took that curse very hard and to this day it bothers me to be shunned and more. The Lord led me through much over the last 50 years, and I have prayed for that woman almost every day for over 40 years…crushed my heart.Leaving the ministry (to many) was like leaving the Lord. We were all very young in Christ, but I was shut out then and became bitter. (The Lord only let me wallow in self pity a bit…thankful He loves us all that much.
I’m guessing that you never walked away from Christ, or denied Him in your heart. You were just embittered by the way you were treated by other supposed Christians. I know two different people who don’t know each other, who stated almost verbatim that they’ve “moved beyond” Christianity. They were very involved in their churches, exercised the gifts, etc., then one day just put the keys on the table and walked away, never to look back. To me, that is what Hebrews 6:4-6 is describing.

I was saved at 15 years old but for years I wasn’t reading the Bible or cultivating my relationship with God. But this year I’ve grown more in my spiritual walk with God than the last 19 years. I'm a believer and covid broke me. I almost died(not from covid but from isolation) . I finally got back to church. But I never stopped praying or knowing that God is omnipotent.
No you almost committed suicide listening to the wrong people I worked every day nothing changed for me or my family. This is a pure example of false faith. Because if your turn to die was from covid you would have died regardless so you stayed away why? Another tid bit I have not been vaccinated had covid twice am over 60 and beat it both times in 3 days. If your mind is weak then you are indeed doomed.
I’m no longer a believer and many a life’s circumstances almost broke me while I was still professing and practiced faith.
It was under actually pressing into doubt, facts and evidence against god that led to, through strife and belief that my marriage and family would be destroyed, that I chose truth over what I wanted to be true.

The fine tuning argument does not get you to a God, much less the Christian one specifically. All it shows is that nature happens and that the variables are tight. And then... how much does Jesus care?How about your finances? Enough to actually help you balance your budget? How about fixing a strained relationship? Does he actually mediate between the two of you in a manner that you both are hearing the same Jesus and not the differing Jesus in both your heads? How about the countless desperate pleas made to a Jesus in times of actual danger or immense suffering where if you called an actual existing person, they could and probably would do something actual to relieve the situation far better than one who arbitrarily intervenes and usually more metaphorically; Jesus got me through the pain that I still had to endure and now I'm closer to him, isn't he great?
By any metric, an actual person can be far more loving and demonstrate care than a man who died 2000 years ago. Unless of course you simply would have to back into the corner of, well it's all just for heaven (which cannot be shown to be actually real).

I was in a backslidden state in 2002 and read Hebrews 6 and 10 all in one night and it scared me half to death. Those scriptures told me that God would not take me back; Jesus would have to die for me again; I had trodden the son of God underfoot, and insulted the Spirit of Grace and fiery indignation was all that was in my future. This is a level of anxiety that non-believers can never experience.
On my 3rd night in a psych hospital, I had a dream of a pastor telling me to open my Bible to Psalm 121. I ignored the dream for three days, but it kept pressing on my mind, so I finally read it. I dont think I have ever cried so hard in my life. God had not forsaken me. If you've never read Psalm 121, you should.
Anything the enemy can do to get you to stop loving and trusting Jesus, is exactly what he will do. Even if he has to use scripture to do it.

The greatest lie that satan can throw at us is the belief that a born-again believer can lose their salvation. Truth is, we are predestined even before the foundation of the world. Once saved we are sealed 'to the day of redemption' by the Holy Spirit. As a christian we are taught to trust in you Lord Jesus because you are our savior you died for our sins. I will hold on to my faith. But I’m overwhelmed dear Lord. Since losing my job over declining the vaccine things have been tuff. I’m thankful to be waitressing considering my lupus and heart disease. But between waitressing and homeschooling my two children I’m overwhelmed. Both of my boys are autistic. I know you don’t give us no more than we can handle. But Lord have mercy on me. Every month is a struggle not to end up on the streets. My rent was recently raised 200 dollars out of nowhere to renew my lease. I’m still struggling putting groceries in my refrigerator. I have no family nor friends to lean on. I’m so tired of struggling financially. I feel alone. This world has grown cold I get so much hate for sharing my testimony. But prayers are all I need. And I’m crying 😢out to you LORD! SAVE ME. Walking with faith.

This video just happened to come up, powerful word I absolutely needed to hear. I came back to Christ a year ago after being away for over 2 decades. Within weeks my faith was severely tested. Exactly what he spoke of came to pass for me and my husband. Our daughter of 19 moved out without warning, and she has not spoken to us since. Completely broke my heart and Jesus was there to put it back together. He is the ONLY one keeping me sane and functional. I never understood what resting in the Lord really meant until I found myself being carried by him. I know what Joy in the Lord is during times of despair. Before I would have wallowed in self pity and depression, but I now choose to stand on his word and trust in his will and timing. Thank you Jesus for your peace through the turmoil.

I fell into sin after walking in the Spirit and the gifts and fell into sin for yrs. Always longed to come back to walking in the Spirit, I've been seeking Christ for the last few yrs heavily, but I don't walk in the gifts I had before . I've always known Christ is Lord since He opened my eyes to the truth. But I fell heavy into sin 😢 I def have a new heart but I struggle hard with my sin 😢. I just wanna be more holy 😢... I believe all denominational churches are man-made. That is according to how each group has decided or interpreted what to believe about what the Bible teaches. I also believe from experience that many churches that claim to be non-denominational, use their non-affiliation to cover up or hide Dr. Noah believes and or experiential practices, usually to bring more people into their church. Churches that do that, in my opinion are being deceptive and not being fair to those who are seeking to find a true real non-denominational church. I do not consider myself to be a particular denomination, because I believe what has been revealed to me through studying God‘s word, and because of that I attend a Baptist church because they believe most closely to what I do, than other churches I had Found. The Bible teaches that we should not place our faith in men, but in God and his word. God’s word is truth, and faith comes by hearing it. As humans, many of us make decisions based on our feelings or emotions, but these are not perfect are always reliable for knowing truth, and many times deceive us. We are not God, but humans that he created, and we are not perfect in our knowledge as he is, yet he has given us his word in order to know all that he wants us to know, and to grow and our relationship with him. I have not found a perfect denomination that has it all right, and even though I believe that what I believe is right, at some point I probably am not, I am just not aware of it yet because I am human. Concerning Calvinism and the main teachings for what it stands for, most Christians are either Calvinist or Armenian or somewhere in between. I was born and raised in a Pentecostal church which was Armenian, but as I learn to study God‘s word, and the more I did my beliefs changed, and through studying the Bible I realized I was believing in citing more and more with a Calvinist view, even when somethings do not sound fair at first to me. I know I must trust in the word of God above all else. Please study long and hard about what these two views teach because they are there are salvation issues and some people just listen to what others say about them and sometimes can become misrepresented.
The enemy can trick/ confuse your mind at the worst possible moment of your life and cause us to lose our salvation. The enemy comes to rob, kill and destroy! Be watchful when praying for your non-believing children and family.
You cannot lose your salvation. That would mean that Jesus would remove his entire self from inside of your heart. He doesn't enter with his spirit and then leave because you've done something wrong. You can only be saved once and you can't kick him out. You can make bad decisions but if you truly go against Christ then more than likely the Holy Spirit was never in you to begin with
Agree some have never really had a relationship with Jesus. I also believe you can walk away from your relationship with God. He gives us free will..this is called apostasy.

Ephesians 2:8-9 says, 'By Grace, you have been saved through Faith. It is the gift of God, not from your works, so no one may boast.' Indeed, from the beginning of human race, the Grace was given freely to Adam and Eve when they were created to become God's children. When the first parents lost the Grace by disobeying God and, thus, committing the Original Sin, their descendants are born into the world without Grace, the life of their souls. No human beings, however holy they may be, could cancel the Original Sin and obtain the lost Grace. Only One Man, Incarnate Word, promised Messiah and Savior, could do that with His Suffering and Death on the Cross. And He, Jesus Christ Our Lord, gives the Grace freely to those who believe in Him and baptized through the teachings and ministry of the One, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic Church He founded on St. Peter (Matt 16:18) and sent to all nations to teach (Matt 28:20, Mark 16:16).
Ephesians 2:10 says, 'we are created (namely, reborn) in Christ Jesus for the good works that we should walk in them,' which the baptized promises to God during the ceremony of the Sacrament of Baptism. 1 John 3:9 says, 'no one begotten by God commits sin.' To retain the Grace received, the baptized must not sin; otherwise, he will lose the Grace much the same way as our first parents lost it and death came. 'You are called to be holy (1 Cor 1:2).' 'No one who fails to act in righteousness belongs to God (1 John 3:10).'
Now, after receiving the Sacrament of Baptism, could anyone live in the world without committing a sin and preserve the Grace? Yes, one can, but, since we are still weak against temptations, It will require assiduous efforts on our part to cooperate with the Graces given through the Sacraments Our Lord instituted in the Church, particularly, the Sacrament of Confession and the Holy Eucharist. Without the Graces from Sacraments administered by the Catholic Church, one cannot be saved. That's why 'Extra Ecclesiam nulla salus (outside the Church, no salvation)' is a Catholic Dogma (Catechism No. 846). Pastor Jack, I am an armchair member of your church in Chino Hills. I'd enjoy sitting in person I am certain; however, I enjoy my little home where God planted me in Oregon. My husband went Home March 29, 2021 to be with Jesus. I'll plan to wait here for my Homegoing event as long as it seems it's what Heaven has in mind for me.
We can't find a good local church at this point. And we are aging and in pain. So its hard to.go sit in church.pews and chairs . We watch Jack and Amirnandblisten to Jan and her guests and a few others. Most importantly we read our bibles. We are supposed to gather together even more as we see the day approaching. But I hope God is ok with us staying home. I dont want to go to these seeker sensitive churches around here with neon lights and bands singing music that doesn't use scripture. Its lonely not having some Christian friends . But its ok. Im in Texas by the way. I hope you aren't lonely.
Mary, I watch and listen to the same teachers and pastors that both you and your husband have been led to in these times. Jesus is very near to me -- I don't often sense loneliness; but as I do, His Spirit comforts me. Thank you. I will see you on the other side.
I became an armchair when I fractured 9 vertebrae due to severe osteo complicated by severe scoliosis. I’m way back in the woods and can’t get out. Nice to meet you, Shari. This is a very frightening sermon, in that my sons have not accepted Christ. They were raised in a Bible proclaiming church, and one of them was baptized as a young teen. But both have walked away from the church. My most fervent prayer is for their salvation. And I'll keep praying for that till I breath my last breath.
