I am just a 75 year old retired person, but I love listening to you Pastor Jack Hibbs because you KNOW the Bible. I read the Word and get so much more out of it now. My own Pastor in Lancaster, Ca., Pastor Mike is a great Pastor too....and between the two of you and a few others online, this is the best time to be retired and at home and at church twice a week. I feel my poor old brain is really getting fed spiritually, and I love it. Thank you ever so much!!!

I'm on fire for Jesus! This year I started to read and dive deeper into the bible and I started to attend Pastor Jack's church at Calvary Chapel.
Look up Andrew Wommack's A Better Way to Pray and How to Hear God's Voice series on UA-cam. Two of the greatest gifts Jesus ever gave us.😇
My testimony is almost identical, except I first started watching Pastor Josh Blevins of Calvary Chapel, St, Joseph. MO. and Pastor Jack Hibbs also of Calvary Chapel, but in Chino Hills, CA. on line. Then I found we HAVE a Calvary Chapel right here in our small town, which I now attend. Even so, I still watch just about every sermon by Pastor josh and Pastor Jack. My life has changed so much. I’ve finally found peace amidst the madness of this world. Glory be to God!

Exactly! When we say God is good, we tend to limit the definition of good to things that are pleasant. But even when God allows trouble and suffering it does not change the fact that he IS good. God operates with an ultimate goal. His glory. And he will do and allow anything that will advance that fact.

If you invited me into your house to show off your new fireplace and one HOT coal Is removed from that fireplace and set on the carpet, that hot coal would burn the house down. But that's exactly what happened in society. The whole of society is burning down because sex has not been kept in the fireplace of marriage which is what God created for marriage... To keep the husband and the wife on the same team. It can be as hot as both are comfortable with in accordance with God's word and the kids and the grandparents can draw close to that fireplace and be warmed by it. (But somebody doesn't want YOU to know that...And he's the same one who HATES sex). Yes, the ADVERSARY is named Satan... Which is what the Bible calls him... And rightfully so.
If people only understood this about the Bible, it would make more sense for why a husband would want to love his wife... And the wife would want to submit to her husband. I see. Much good here... But the world is ignorant. I'm not surprised, but the world would be. Why else would they sit there listening to f-bomb this and GD that for an hour and a half in the theater? It's almost like they're trying to claim that Satan created sex and God is stupid... But that is really what the world believes. When I shared this with a boss, it totally turned his mind around on the Bible... And he and his wife became Christians. The home needs to be a safe place for everyone. If families worked as a team, the suicide rate would drop so much. It's sickening how many children cry themselves to sleep at night because their father isn't there...ever. People, we need to grow up, get right with God, our spouses, our children, and make the home a safe place where everyone WANTS to be. It's pathetic the number of people who are on anti-angxiety drugs and what the suicide rate is amongst kids. We've got to step back from the edge and return to the safety of God's word.

You stated that you believe that this could be the beginning of a great new era of opportunity and blessings and prosperity for America. You stated that you believed it could be a divine setup for a spiritual comeback led by the family of faith. That is the Seven Mountain mandate. Not biblical at all!!!
I'm a believer, but I'm having trouble finding the answers in the Bible for parenting in today's world. I know isolating my kid isn't the answer.
Read the Bible with your kids. Talk about it. Get them out of public school

But still, the usual teenage rebellion is starting and life just isn't like when I was a kid. The evils in this world used to be the exception. Now they are embraced and idolized as the norm.

Jesus chose to forgive the woman completely that was caught in adultery.
Either Jesus wasn't hearing God correctly or God changed his mind or Moses wasn't hearing God correctly because he had major anger issues and projected those onto God.
I'm going with the .last one and that's just one reason i don't take the Bible at face value. I ask the Holy Spirit to interpret it.

They felt his wounds and knew that it was Jesus Christ! obtain a copy of the Book of Mormon read it from cover to cover underlining the words; Jesus Christ, Jehovah, Lord, Savior, and God. Alongside the Bible!

Well, take the long or the short ending of the gospel of Mark as an example. Which should really be in our bibles? All modern bibles have the long ending. Yet our earliest manuscripts show only a short ending. Or take the story of the adulteress in John's gospel. We have the same problem. Should it really be in or out?
Those are not what the Bible is for. History doesn't improve your life: living Jesus' true teachings does.
So tell me how it is that mankind came about on the last day of creation with a 13.8 billion year pause from the day before, whatever that was. And how does your answer underscore your "veracity" of scripture?
Is the 13.8 billion years stuff the only thing that bothers you? I understand that has been explained biblically.
